Love everybody at Dodd Rv in Portsmouth. We purchased a used RV from them this weekend. The entire process was painless from start to finish. Everyone is so helpful. We definitely recommend this business to everyone.
Had a wonderful experience at Dodd RV Portsmouth. Drew was very helpful and knowledgeable. Charlie did our walk through and he blew me out of the water. He was very insightful and showed me everything I needed to know about my RV. He really went the extra mile!
We just bought a new travel trailer from Dodd RV of Portsmouth and the staff was exceptional. They made the process as smooth as possible. Drew was so knowledgable of all the campers and which features they offered. He helped us find the best floor plan to fit our families needs then showed us all of our options from there. Jade did an amazing job giving us an extensive "orientation" of our travel trailer, showing us how everything works and making sure we were comfortable before pulling off the lot. Jennifer made the paperwork process as simple as possible. She had EVERYTHING prepared ahead of time so we were in and out in no time. Their little "store" was so well stocked with all of the essentials. I highly recommend Dodd RV of Portsmouth for all of your camping needs.
Dodd rv is the best, service is great and drew doss has been my salesman for 6 years and has always treated me outstanding. Dodd will always be my place to shop and service my rv and Drew will always be my salesman.
Welp Yelp... probably the most baller review per dollar I've ever done. This place is close by us and we were in the market for an RV. We figured this would be a good place to start. Our first visit (there were quite a few), Drew greeted us and was just super pleasant, patient, and informative. He was very transparent and worked with the restrictions on length and budget. He answered every (we had a lot) of questions and was just super respectful. No pressure sales and it was definitely our speed. Our second visit (we were closing in on what we wanted to buy), he allowed us to tour a few other models and again, gave us all answers, straight forward responses. Again, no pressure. With everything being so calm, we were able to methodically choose what we wanted to buy and it was all because of how simple and informative the dealer was. They earned our loyalty by being upfront and not making me feel like another cog in the wheel. The product sold itself. Grand Design has a great reputation and I look forward to our family trips in 2023. On the backend, Jennifer Dodd (boss lady) is super cool. She's friendly, knowledgeable, and also extremely patient. She was fun to work with and I admire having someone I can joke around with as this process is supposed to be an exciting time. Some people get stressed about the whole financing part but if you can deliver the service in a friendly way, I'll take it! Thank you Jenn and Drew for a great RV purchase experience!

We are big fans of their Grand Design line due to their quality, features and customer service. My husband and I are now Dodd customers for life and we HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is considering purchasing an RV.
For the last several years we have looked to Dodd RV for all our needs. We bought 2 Grand Design trailers from Drew. He treated us fairly and honestly. Even after the sale we know we can call on him for help. For service we turn to Jennifer Wise. For parts, or for any technical assistance we speak to Wilson. Both are professional yet easy to deal with. We highly recommend Dodd RV to anyone looking at buying a RV or looking for a reputable RV dealer.

I had the pleasure of purchasing my first Travel Trailer from Dodd RV in Portsmouth last week. We are first time RV purchasers .Everyone at Dodd made the experience easy .They were extremely helpful from the beginning of the process to the end .The staff was superb and patient answered all questions with a smile .You can tell each and everyone of them are passionate and knowledgeable about their jobs. From the first salesman we met and he showed us our camper in the rain with no hesitation to Jade who was the absolute best at our walk through he explained everything about our RV from top to bottom to Jennifer in parts. If you want an RV please go to DODD' s They are the best .and as I said we were first time RV buyer's so we went to alot of RV lots all over Va large and small but purchased from Dodd's the best decision we could have made Thanks Dodd
The people at Dodd RV are amazing and so helpful! We needed a random part to fit our hitch unexpectedly- we called and spoke with Jennifer who said to come on by and they’d help us out. We did, and Scott searched all around their buildings until he found exactly what we needed- he was a lifesaver! Jennifer, Scott and John were helpful, kind, and actually wanted to help which can be rare these days. We will for sure go back to Dodd RV for our trailer needs.
Great experience with Dodd RV. Gave updates as our TT was being built and delivery dates. Jennifer and Robert are great to deal with for sales. Jen in the service department is awesome. We were actually just driving by on our way home to PA. We had been looking at Grand Design for a while. Little did we know how much (driving by) was going to change our life. They let us look at the RVs on our own, which was perfect because we could look and discuss amongst each other as we were in and out of each one. Soon, we purchased the Grand Design, Reflection. Model #303RLS. We purchased from Dodd because they were the lowest price we could find. We were even told that NOONE would go that low and if they did, to jump on it. So, we did! The buying experience with Drew Doss was excellent. He worked with us to give us the deal we asked for. He text us often as someone else was looking at it. He kept us updated on every step. He even went above and beyond to make arrangements for us to get our truck hideaway ball before picking up the fifth wheel. He made the appt with a company at Tac RV in NC. Is that service or what? That was one day and then he scheduled us to pu the fifth wheel the next day. We went to pu the fifth wheel and met Jade Courtney. He showed us every single thing we needed to know. Not one gadget, switch or lever was left without a full explanation as to why it was there, what it did, and when we needed to use it! Jade was extremely knowledgeable and said any questions, to call him. He said he even took calls on a Sunday before, helping a customer out that was in a jam. Before we knew it, we felt we knew Jade for a very long time! Then we went to see Jennifer Dodd that took us thru all the payment information, warranties etc! She explained that Dodd is a family owned business that was her dads. He is in his 90’s and now all the kids have their own job at their fathers company. She was so down to earth and kind! Walked us thru all the warranty information and options for us to add on if we wanted. Took many pics of us in front of our RV! No pressure whatsoever!!! Then it was onto Jenn Wise that gave us more informat
