I highly recommend Excel! I have used them for years. I had them install a new system years ago, then had them install a split system when we did a special remodel on our kitchen. They have always been fantastic to work with and quick to respond.
We've had Excel Heating & AC repair not only our heating/AC system but they were very responsive when our hot water heater went out. They are extremely professional, down to earth, and reliable to arrive on time and get the job done right the first time.

My A/C in my office went out and so I called my regular HVAC Company. They couldn't get to me for a week.... so they referred me to Excel. Kelly called within 10 minutes as well as sent a text message to schedule the appt. for the next morning (lightning speed). They sent me a text reminder when BJ (technician) was en route. BJ was extremely professional and caring. He was smiling and very friendly to chat with... and we loved having him in our home. He took the time to listen, diagnose the problem, then found a part to repair the unit quickly. This was not a solicited review, and I had no ties to this company. I simply appreciate it when a company "Takes Care" and does it in a friendly way. Thank you for your exceptional service!
This is one of the best company I have ever used! They came out the very next day, no long wait, did an excellent job of tuning up my air-conditioning unit. They were so helpful and even ordered me extra filters at a great price this is the best company Ever!

Honest and Fair! I can't say enough about Excel. I have used them many times over the years and every time I have had nothing but the best in customer service. I have referred Excel to neighbors that have been previously told by other HVAC contractors that they needed who new systems when it was something as simple as a capacitor. If it can be repaired, they will repair it. If it needs to be replaced, they will do it at a fair price with excellent workmanship. After 20 years it was time to replace my entire system. Jeff explained all my options with absolutely no pressure. I scheduled them; they came on time and installed the new system, and I could not be happier with the result.
Excel Heating and Air Conditioning is very honest company!!!. I had Absolute Air diagnosed my furnace problem and they told me that my heating system circuit board is bad and it’s going to cost $1000 to fix it. Then they strongly suggested me that it’s better to replace whole thing since my furnace is 16 years old. Then they told me that if I’m replacing furnace, I also should replace A/C. I agreed to have my whole system replace by Absolute Air. I decided to have second opinion and talked to the owner of this company, Jeff. He told me that circuit board doesn’t cost $1000 to fix it and it should be few hundred dollars. Jeff sent his employee to my house on same day and he diagnosed the problem. The technician from Excel told me that I don’t need new furnace. Their price for new circuit board was only $250 plus labor fee. Why did Absolute Air guy told me that it’s going to cost about $1000?!?! I’m glad I talked to Jeff to get second opinion. I almost spend more than $14,000 for new furnace and AC.!!! When my AC went out I called another company to come diagnose the problem with my condenser unit. The technician told me I needed a new compressor and quoted me $2,400 to change it! I decided I would get a second opinion. Elias from Excel Heating & AC came to my home and couldn't have been nicer or more professional. I gave him the backstory and he immediately had an idea of what the problem was. Ultimately he ended up fixing the unit by replacing the capacitor (a $20-$40 part) and saving me $2,400! His honesty and professionalism were as refreshing as the fresh, cold air flowing out of my vents again! I highly recommend this company!
Just like to take a minute to leave a review on my experience with Excel Heating and AC. Really impressed with their professionalism, responsiveness, and overall kindness. Jeff came out to give me some ideas of how I can cool down my bonus over the garage. He brainstormed a bunch of ideas, shared pros & cons, and suggested creative solutions I had not considered. Additionally while he was checking out my current central air unit he noticed it was in desperate need of service, he had one if his guys come out, Eli, to service. Eli too was awesome to work with. Always nice when you come across a good company that you know you can call when you inevitably will need HVAC work.

They have done service at my home and office for many years. Always responsive, always fairly priced, and always a job well done. Its hard to find competent and honest pros these days...but they are!
came out to look at our furnace. Had us back up and running super quick. Was super friendly and explained everything he did while he the work. I'd recommend Excel and Jeff to anyone.
Oh Mylanta! They don't get much better than this. Easy to work with, knows their stuff, very accommodating. I can't say enough good about these people. Hire ASAP.
So my AC had issues. If you reset it, it would blow some cold air for a short time then stop. The thermostat would indicate a fault and recommend calling a service technician. After 5 visits and replacing a part that was not the issue, Excel was able bring in an expert who found the faulty circuit board and a replacement was ordered and the issue resolved. This issue lasted over a month but part of it was my fault as I went on Vacation for a week during this ordeal. Overall, the issue was resolved. Although, I do wish that they had found it quicker. The final bill was over $1,200 and more than half of that was due to the various visits trying to find the issue. I will admit it was a strange one where the circuit board was not completely dead but instead, when the AC kicked on, it would start to fail. So when the technician left, it was working but shortly afterwards, it would stop. Therefore, the routine was : They show up...It's fixed... leave. Then it stopped working. I call back. They come. It's fixed!... leave... Then it stopped working. That was the routine for 3 visits. The 4th visit, the true culprit was identified and a week later, the new board was installed and I had AC again. Thankfully, my home has 2 units and we spend most of our time in the part of the house where the AC did work. Therefore, we were not melting as this was for the entire month of July. 3 Stars because I am somewhat miffed that part of the charges was to replace a part that turned out to not be the issue. Thankfully, the part was less than $20 although the labor for that visit was $170.00. The technicians were great and explained what they had found and hat they were doing. I do worry if I have future issues if I should go to someone with more experience with Bryant (my heater/ac Brand) so that if it is some weird issue, they might find the issue faster and not need to call in outside people to identify the true culprit. My AC stopped working from out of nowhere. It was a Thursday night, the next day was slated to be the first 100 degree day of the year and out of desperation, I contact a competing company (I don't know what had come over me). The competitor came, after 15 mins told me my compressor was dead and then quoted me $5000 to replace it. Who has an extra $5000 floating around?!?! Fortunately, I had a Facebook friend lead me to Excel Heating & AC. The technician, Elias, came to the house and after some detailed testing confirmed that the compressor, was in fact, PERFECTLY GOOD! He then spent the next 2 hours evaluating, cleaning and servicing my system. He checked for leaks, checked the heater and evaluated the entire system. What had been determined as a bad compressor was in reality a dirty condenser coil (we had just done some extensive landscaping). Elias and Excel took a horrible $5000 quote and fixed my AC for under $300. I would HIGHLY recommend Excel to anyone - they know HVAC!
This company is the best. They couldn't diagnose the problem immediately since it was intermittent, so they came back until they could! Furnace is running like a champ now!
