Dave is a true HVAC contractor that doesn't give you the run around and try to steal your money. He will always save you money and give you his honest opinion. He also has a YouTube that are very informative and if you're a DIYer his video will help with any installation/fix of your hvac system. Am absolute stud

Dave was super awesome to work with! He helped us replace our aging 43-year old air conditioner that had to be removed due to a refrigerant incompatibility with my brand new furnace that was installed in March. He helped us pick up our new 2.5 Ton 14.3 SEER2 unit at the Goodman dealer in Salt Lake City. After, he showed up at our house to install the unit. We ran into an issue where the existing 2 ton 3/4" lineset was too small, so he promptly picked up a 50 foot long 7/8" lineset that is compatible with the new unit. He got it installed, and ran it down the side of our house. He let us know that while it still could be installed with a 3/4" lineset, we would have performance issues if we didn't get the new one. It also helped having a brand-new lineset installed, so no worries about leaks of any sort. He was very kind and helpful, and got the job finished quickly, and everything is up and running very well. Use him for your HVAC needs, since he is very transparent about pricing, doesn't do huge parts markups like big companies, and his rates are super competitive. It also makes me happy knowing that the costs are going towards a great guy's local company, and not some huge company trying to make huge profits off of customers. He does great work, and our install looks excellent, and was a definite step above what the company that installed our furnace did. Everything is tidy and well done. We will be using him for our future HVAC needs.
Dave took care of us a few months back with a furnace replacement. He made sure the new furnace was tuned to spec and that everything was safe. He is very thorough and cares about his clients. His quality of work reflects it. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.
Love the new service plan, now I don't even have to think about when to schedule A/C maintenance AND I know our system is in good working order before it's even gotten hot outside. Thanks so much!
Dave did an excellent job replacing my Trane whole house electronic air cleaner with the Honeywell 4 inch filter rack. Keeping the filter clean and the A/C running better will be much easier now. Also the best A/C maintenance I have ever had.

I was so happy to find Dave at SM Heating & Air. He was a life saver! A competitor was going to charge me $15,000 for a brand new HVAC system, and as a second opinion I called him. He was very thorough and found what was wrong with my system in about an hour and a half! The cost was extremely reasonable. I’m now on his maintenance program to make sure everything is in great shape every six months. Worth every penny!
