Our salesperson Ron was excellent . We got a great price and he was very professional and trustworthy. The installer Brooklyn was great too. Start to finish they were an excellent company to do business with . I highly recommend them .
* The sales team spent a lot of time with us, making sure we understood out best options. Our install team was quick and efficient.
We used Sear/Transform Home Improvements for a small cabinet refacing job, along with a new back splash. The Sales Project Consultant, Matt Nielsen, arrived an hour early, stayed an extra hour over the quoted time, used high pressure sales tactics, and set the wrong expectations. One of his major selling points, we were told multiple times, was this was supposed to take "3-4 days". The project took 3 MONTHS. We understand that delays happen, but first an employees took the wrong measurements. Then the wrong parts were delivered multiple times, causing us to wait weeks in-between installations. There was an extreme lack of communication and professionalism from the Project Coordinator Amy Hess to get our issues resolved. The materials used and the end product are great. The installers did a good job and had good communication. We will never use Sears or Transform Home Improvements again, and will never recommend them either.
Replacement siding on our home. Excellent experience.
I received the best service ever. They went above what was required of them.
Our experience with our flooring was great! From tear-out to adding the final touches we were very pleased with the service and quality of the flooring. The lifetime warranty with a solid company that's going to be around for a good long while to service any needs we may have is a big reason why we went with Sears!
Overall Great experience, with the sales rep to the Installation Rep to the Installers.
Had first central AC put in and a new furnace. Happy with both.
Love my new windows! They look AMAZING and so easy to open/close and clean! Great product and I will recommend to anyone needing/wanting new windows! Very, very happy with this purchase!
Great experience working with the whole team from start to finish. The bathroom remodel looks absolutely amazing and I'm very pleased with the outcome. The guys certainly did go well above and beyond their job. I recommend Sears Home Improvement to anyone who needs something done. I appreciate it very much and thank you to the whole team. Hired Sears to install our kitchen. The end product is great, happy with the cabinets, the countertop and the work done by the contractors was great. Couple of things that were disappointing: 1) I dislike the pressure sales technique that was used. When we met with the sales person (David Petersen) to get a quote, we had to sit through a slide presentation about the company and it’s background for about 1 hour. I don’t care about that, give me the quote. After about a three hour meeting, we were told the total cost and if we sign on the same day, we get a discount. The sales technique worked, we signed, but we will never recommend this company because of it. It’s like they were trying too hard to explain to us why are we paying a premium price. We agree to pay so much thinking everything will go smooth and there will be great communication, which brings me to the second disappointment. 2) Communication with Michael Schultd, project manager, wasn’t great during kitchen install especially when we had lots of questions and concerns. To his credit, he seemed to address some of our concerns but he wasn’t communicating his plans with us. One of our concerns such as installing a filler above the fridge was not addressed at all. The contractors simply said it’s not part of the contract. Actually, I seemed to get that answer a lot from the contractors. Overall, I feel that we paid a premium price for our kitchen install and we expected good customer service. We really didn’t.
BUYER BEWARE, SAME OLD SEARS, RUN RUN... QUALITY IS HORRIBLE AND STARTING TO BUBBLE, TRIED TO GET ME TO PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES ON THE SALE AND INSTALL.
Outstanding team from insulation to sales
We did a bathroom remodel. i give a 2 star rating because their sales reps are lairs. They promise concerns and with a job and the techs/installers are not licence to do what was requested. we needed our bathroom to be vented to be able to work on it per Utah Requirements. we also wanted an out let installed and when they get in they say "we are not able to to do that i'm not a electrician." you ask for them to get an electrician to come out and do whats requested and they say they do not have one. so they are dishonest.
I am not the type of person to write reviews on services or products that I received. Sears has been sending me emails to please review their service that I have received from them. So here we go. It started in August 2018 and I was looking at doing some remodeling to the house, change from swamp cooler to central air, change the carpet in the house to hard wood floors or something similar, a new roof, and remodel of the 2 showers we have. I met with the salesman and got everything set up, I thought it was going to be a quick job as it was all being done by one company instead of many different contractors. That was the reason we went with Sears, BIG MISTAKE. Talking with the sales man he told me it would take about 4 weeks to get all the products in and then 2 -4 days for the flooring and 3 days for each bathroom and 2 days for the roof and the Central air would be in that first week and would only take 1 day. Everything was to be done and complete by Thanksgiving according to the salesman and we would be getting close to $8000.00 in points to redeem we wanted to get our kitchen appliances with before Christmas. Let’s see the floors were started in October and they finished them in February 2019. The roof was put on in Dec right before Christmas but they didn’t have the gutters so those weren’t put on until February 2019. It is now March 1, 2019 and we are still waiting on the bathrooms to be complete. We are going on 7 months when all this should have been put in before the end of 2018. Sad thing is nobody could get their stories the same every time I talked to someone their response is, we are waiting on the products, everything should have been ordered and received before November, or everything is on hold because of the bankruptcy, well it is no wonder they went bankrupt. Nobody wants to pay when it takes 7 months to do something that should not take more than 2 months. The only thing they did quick was the central air that was put in the end of August. If I wo
The representative person was technical, very patient about explaining the situation, and the options, and the service was excellent.
Wanted to replace our carpet and also add some flooring. Estimate came to almost $14,000. Only contracted for lower level, 2 rooms and a bath for $4,000. Installation was promised in 2-3 weeks, wasn't done till week 5. Installers took our kids piggy bank and almost a $100. Couldn't complete first day and had 2nd set of contractors 3 days later. Will NEVER ever deal with Sears again. Got a bid from Loews for the rest of the job for same material's to finish the whole house at half what Sears would have charged plus a 10% military discount on materials.
Kitchen remodel - sales guys were great, as you'd expect. The general contractors for the cabinets and counter tops were excellent. Floor guys were not very reliable as far as timeliness and scheduling, but finished work was good. My main problem was with the project manager, Mike and his lack of communication overall. He doesn't always respond to messages and does not follow up as promised. I still have an unresolved problem that he has promised to find a solution, but have not heard from him in over a week. You have to make sure to stay on top of him to ensure everything gets done and you find out when installation is going to take place!
The only issue we had was with the communication between the product in team and us. We didn't really ever know when our hvac was being installed till the day before and after I called. Other than that, the sales guys were awesome and the install team was amazing.
Nice people and services.
