Design Comfort is great. They got our swamp cooler up and running and even went out of our way to make sure that some weather worn caulk was repaired. We have been using them for years!
James was right on time today. He was very pleasant and answered all of my questions. He knows a lot about what he’s doing and was very pleasant. Unlike these other guys who don’t even like to answer your questions even though they’re working for you when they come.
I highly recommend Design Comfort! They have replaced/installed my air conditioner, furnace, water heater and humidifier. I do not miss my fall and spring maintenance visits. I trust them completely. Today, James installed my new water filter after servicing my other equipment. He is a PRO! He knows what he is doing and I trust him to never make a bad recommendation. Design Comfort would never recommend anything without researching it, pricing it and discussing the pros and cons with me. Plus, when I call, I know someone will come as quickly as needed. 100% satisfied!

More interested In selling a new furnace or exorbitant and unnecessary service. Our heater was cycling off improperly and the burner wouldn’t stay on. We called design comfort for a service call. The service man came to the house and on time and was kind. He looked at our 7-year old heater he said it would be tough to fix and recommended a new heater. $8-10k dollars or he could clean it for $2,500 and it would work well. I literally googled the symptoms the next day and some YouTube instructions told me exactly what to do. All it needed was to clean the flame sensor. Literally took 10 mins, a screwdriver and steel wool and it had worked perfectly for days. I think the service man was more interested in a commission on a new furnace than a simple fix. How could he not do such a basic fix? Google the problem first and I do not recommended design comfort. Update: it’s been two years since their tech wanted to replace my furnace or clean it for $2,500 and yet my free you-tube fix still works and and the furnace has had no problems whatsoever. So glad I didn’t take their expensive advice. Be cautious.
Outstanding team. They are reliable, on time, fair, and eager to make sure that everything is done to my expectation. I am delighted with our new system and would strongly recommend them to anyone needing new furnaces or service. Don't go anywhere else! Call them - you won't be disappointed!

Design Comfort is the best! They go out of their way to ensure customers get the best possible solution for their energy needs and replacements. Eric was so knowledgeable and patient in explaining the details and meeting our needs in a cost-effective manner. We decided to replace our broken tank water heater and plan to replace our aging furnace energy system with them. Definitely, compare with others, but go with Design Comfort. You will be in good hands!!
We have used Design Comfort for more than 20 years but in the last 6 - 7 years the quality of their work has deteriorated. Most recently, we had an annoying sound coming from our furnace and we called to have them fix it. Their tech came and told us we needed a new furnace. We questioned that diagnosis and decided we needed a second opinion. We called Manwill and they found that there were two stripped screws that were causing the sound. No new furnace needed.
Excellent, curteous, punctual service. Highly recommend it.
Design Comfort was prompt, professional, and ultimately were down to every detail to replace our Hydronics heating system by troubleshooting the old system and updating to an efficient, well run heating system for our very large home. I recommend this company if you want a job extremely well done.
This was our first time using Design Comfort. We were remodeling a room and a vent line was damaged and needing fixing so our contractor could finish. Design Comfort came out quickly, fixed it the next day and put in a solution that was better than what was there before. We Will definitely use them again.

Design Comfort staff did a great job 1) trouble shooting a condensation pipe leak and 2) providing maintenance for our furnace. We are on their maintenance plan and they even remind us when service is due in the spring and the fall. Technicians have always been professional and answer all of our questions. Design Comfort is a great company! We highly recommend them! -- 5/4/22-We just had our airconditioner serviced. Steven is the best technician. 10/24/22-I'm still delighted to be working with Steven and Design Comfort. The service and customer care is fantastic.
I trust Design Comfort because i’ve known Steve, their Service Tech, since long before he went to work for them and I trust him. He wouldn’t be working for them if they weren’t a great company.
They went the extra mile for me. I needed help with information about water filters and when I should replace them, the next thing I knew they where ordered and being delivered. I thought I would be searching around for hours trying to locate what I needed. I cant believe someone answered the phone let alone provided such great customer service.

I had been a loyal customer. Yesterday, I had some guys do their annual check on my AC. Today, my AC doesn't work and it's 90 degrees in my house. I called to get a tech out here immediately, some woman named Elena could care less. She told me they could be there in 3 hours. When I told her to please send someone sooner, she said "so you think another company can come out any sooner than us? Try them!". I told her "you guys broke my AC, its not like I'm calling to fix my AC that broke for no reason". Then she literally started yelling at me and then hung up on me. When I tried to call back, I was on the phone for literally 11 minutes and no answer. I need my AC fixed and I need my membership canceled, immediately. I'll find another company to send my business to moving forward. Elena ruined it for me and I'm sure for many other people.
Steven was very thorough and very courteous. He went above and beyond when he cleared and bagged the leaves that had accumulated around our a/c unit.
Very courteous and professional. They did a complex system retrofit with geothermal heating/AC/hot water. An excellent personal experience with each member of the crew.
