We called Cody to come out and see if he could see what was wrong. Because it wasnt blowing cokd air. He send someone named Brandon who said he had put 1 lb of freon, then said 3 when we questioned the price. I called Cody to ask about the price and was told not to ever call him again and he hung up. Seeing that he hasnt replied to my request for an itemized receit which Brandon said Cody would text me. Ive asked 3 times. My husband called and he was hung up on. This guy shouldnt be in business at all. Just because theres a problem doesnt mean you ignore the customer. We had to call a 2nd company who got there fast the next morning and the first thing they find are the rubber stoppers AND the caps on the ground. Brandon never put the stoppers or caps back on the unit so ALL of the freon we paid for escaped straight out into the environment. The 2nd company had to put in 4 lbs and then waited for it to start cooling the upstairs. We want and deserve a 100% refund for this rediculous excuse of a simple service call. If not received legal matters will be next to recoup our 529.00 paid to this "company". Troys Heat and Air LLC out if Como will get all of our business on our units moving forward.
Cody sent Brandon to look at our ac after hrs he put 3 lbs he said of freon into the unit after saying 1 lb Charged us for 3 and 250. Service call. Big problem Brandon didnt put the stoppers or caps back on so all of the freon leaked out. I called CODY to discus price and fact the unit still wasnt blowing cold air and he said not to call him back and hung up. He hasnt replied to my request for a receit or acknowledged BRANDONS huge mistake. The repairman that came out the next day found the caps on the ground where they werent put back on. I want a complete refund.or legal matter will be next.
Cody was amazing! Arrived quickly after I called for service after hours and found the problem in no time! Had us back up and running fast! Highly recommend!!

Cody came out right away on a Saturday and got the air going. Other companies would come for a hundred dollars. He explained what was going on and how to reset it until Monday. Our unit was 28 years old. Cody said he would come out again before Monday if needed. There was no charge for Saturday. We ended up getting a new outdoor unit. Cody came out at noon on Monday with the new unit and had it installed in no time. Cody is very personable and full of knowledge. I highly recommend his services. Sharon Hough
I called Big Star and spoke with Cody about my A/C problem. He came out the same day and right on time. Cody is not only a great A/C Technician from his many years in the business, he is a stand-up kind of guy. He is the type of guy you trust with your life. He is of upstanding moral character and great A/C technician. It's great to have him nearby. I know you won't be disappointed by using Big Star. He's a five star kind of businessman. ;)
We contacted Big Star to have them check our system after receiving some disappointing news from another company. They came the next day, inspected our unit and thermostat and ran some diagnostics. We were relieved to hear that our system did not in fact need repairs and was functioning properly. We will definitely be using Big Star for our AC needs. Honest and professional.
We called Big Star in July based off of Facebook recommendations. Cody was awesome! Arrived in a timely manner, worked quickly, and was extremely reasonable in price. A faulty part replaced and our AC was back to blowing COLD! We called again this morning as our heat wasn't working. Again he responded quickly and was finished within about 30 minutes or so. Found the issue with a wonky wire in the thermostat and BOOM we're warm and toasty again. His number is posted on the info board in our kitchen and we will continue to use him when needed! Fantastic service, very down to earth and friendly. Highly recommend!
We recently moved into a home on a ranch our boss purchased and realized the central heat didn't work. We called Big Star and Cody came and assessed the situation, had to special order two parts and got it fixed ,all in a very timely manner and very professional and friendly. And very affordable!I highly recommend this company and will use them again when needed.
BIG STAR AC INSTALLED A COMPLETE AC SYSTEM FOR ME AND MY FAMILY IN 2020 AND DID A GREAT JOB AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN AVAILABLE FOR ANY ISSUES OR QUESTIONS WE HAVE. DEFINATELY RECOMEND THIS COMPANY.

A hot June day is not a good day for the a/c in Texas to stop working. We called Big Star AC and not only were they above par on being responsive and on time but also provided quality work. Big Star AC is courteous, friendly and they do not throw money at the problem to try to figure out what is wrong. They actually take an approach that is one of concern for your well-being as they diagnose the problem. They will not stop until the problem is solved and they are respectful in all matters of response time, quality and value. They do what they say they are going to do. Very refreshing.
Techs came out same day as called and on time. Diagnosed the problem quickly and made repairs. Very pleased with their work. Will be my first call for AC repairs in the future.
Cody and Collin did a great job putting in our ac/heating unit. Works great! Friendly and made us feel very comfortable while in our home. Cleaned up as they went. Fast and efficient. Thank you Big Star A/C!!!
They provided excellent service. I called them amid single digit weather and snow icy roads to repair my central heating unit. Serviceman arrived within 40-45 minutes. Repairman was knowledgeable and completed the task in a timely manner. I highly recommend Big Star AC!
"BIG STAR" Speaks for itself...and One that performs the job in a professional manner and get it done, is the "BIGGER STAR!" It's been 3 weeks without heat in the house, and having the oven on every night during the cold weather doesn't warm up every room but raising the electric bill. THANK YOU SO MUCH CODY!!!
