We had our AC unit replaced and had an amazing experience. The technicians arrived on time and got straight to work. Our indoor unit is in our hallway, I work from home, so I need to pass by that area multiple times a day. The technician made sure the area stayed clear, but more importantly, he was so patient with my walking back and forth throughout the day. The technicians were very knowledgeable and walked us through "items to note" about our old unit and adjustments that were made to ensure proper operations. We've also use James Lane for our bi-annual servicing. This service ensures our system is functioning properly and saves us from any surprises or system failures down the road. We highly recommend James Lane to anyone needing AC/plumbing services!

They were accommodating to our needs and have given us piece of mind that are unit will run like it should. I made the mistake of calling James Lane on a Sunday to inquire about having my outdoor unit checked out due to the fan not spinning. When I spoke with the lady in the phone, she made zero mention of cost, or the special Sunday price, just to come to my home. Had I know of double cost Sunday, I would have gladly requested a weekday, yet I was foolish enough to just trust. Then on top of that the technician, which took roughly 5 mins to replace a $20 capacitor, wrapped up after arriving at my house 10 minutes prior to give me my $300 bill, and the outstanding opportunity to sign up for 6 months check ups, which would put my bill closer to $500. I would very much appreciate even the slightest mention of cost prior to requesting service and prior to making any repair, but was given neither until it was done. Luckily I was given the opportunity to have the new capacitor taken off and only charged $180 for the “visit” and “maintenance”. What a deal!! Please be careful what you agree to and who you give your card information to without prior knowledge. Not a fan and will not using James Lane in the future.

Landon was the tech who came by on my call for my clogged drain. He was incredibly helpful and nice and cleaned up the area before he left. He even looked at the nearby toilet and assessed an issue I had with that. Would be happy to use this company again of I had another issue in the future.

I had my HVAC system replaced. Leeroy and Michael did a great job. They replaced the unit in less time than I thought it would take. They were very professional and worked well as a team. In no time at all, my system was replaced and the old system was removed. They did a great job of cleaning up both in the house around the unit and outside. When all was said and done, Leeroy pointed out the features on my new unit and was able to easily answer all of my questions. I would recommend using James Lane Air Conditioning and Plumbing. You would be very lucky if this same team were to do your repairs.

Wow so the website has me add my number, 3 hrs later they tell me they can't take me on when I called directly and asked if this was something they could have let me know right away, the live person, a woman hung up on me and I had to call back. There was no cussing or raising voice whatsoever it was a valid question. Rest assured if this is how you treat potential customers I dunno how you stay in business. All you need to do is just tell people you're not available right away. Incase u didn't know...it is 10° outside thanks for absolutely Nothing. Horrible service and will never recommend as a matter of fact will tell to avoid. I want to clarify, it wasn't so much of a problem they can't take on new people but waiting 3 hrs to tell someone and then the 5 yr old tactic of hanging up, no go. Retrain your customer "service" person or maybe suggest a different job for them. They are screwing up.

Had my heating unit service today before winter gets here. I'd signed up for semi-annual service with James Lane several weeks back. Serviceman arrived after receiving call with arrival time. I was very pleased that my service man was a non-smoker. He was clean and wore shoe covers to preclude tracking in grass/dirt. Showed me a problem area with my coils and quoted me a very reasonable price to service the unit. Overall I was extremely please with his courtesy and knowledge of my heating/ac unit. James Lane does quality work at a reasonable price. They treat your unit as if it is in their own home.
