The visit was one of the best home visits ive ever experienced. He was very helpful and funny. He made everything understandable and him looking like Bruce Willis help too! Im looking forward to making my next ac purchase with this company because of him.
Who knew that Bruce Willis would be coming to to revive my ac after it died hard lol!!! My experience with the company started with the polite ladies Tiffany and Crystal whom scheduled my appointment soon as they received my work order and ended with the kindest most thoughtful technician that I have ever encountered . David came and got the job done, he even gave me some energy saving tips for the hotter months. Thank you Airstar, thank you David!!! I will continue to use you for all of my heating and air needs.
Dave from Mesquite Airstar was great. He looked so much like Bruce Willis, I couldn’t stop staring. His customer service skills were impeccable his knowledge and professionalism was on point. I appreciated the fact that he educated me as he was working as to what exactly he was doing. Customer service on that level is very rare.. I recommend Airstar. to everyone. The previous HVAC technician sent out by AC Wizard through American Home Shield initially said I need to replace my entire system due to a "pre-existing" cracked heat exchanger and AHS would not cover it. David from Airstar arrived to give me a second opinion and was extremely thorough in his assessment. Turns out our heat exchanger wasn't cracked and we just needed to replace a flame sensor & wire. David was very professional, personable and saved us thousands! We would use Airstar again!

This company will lie to you about whether your unit actually needs to be replaced or not. American Home Shield sent this company to my home for a service request of a leaking unit. Technician, Jason, informed me that the unit could not be repaired since it was leaking freon and had to be replaced. That i could spend 3k to patch it temporarily but could be be guaranteed to last a month or 6 months. That I also could not run the unit without causing sever damage. So based on the information from the professional and the strong suggestion to have it replaced to prevent further damage to my home, I agreed to have it replaced. However this company went back to American Home Shield and told them only the evaporator coils needed to be replace which was covered under the home warranty. Now I am out of 15k for a new unit that I really did not need and cannot have covered under my home warranty because Airstar Services also lied to AHS saying that I "elected" to upgrade my system when all I needed was an evaporator coil replacement. As a result, I do not recommend that you use or trust Airstar Services. If they make a recommendation on needed or required services, please get a second opinion before proceeding with this company for any services. Although this company's seems knowledgeable, friendly, and like they are providing you with legitimate recommendations for service, please don't be fooled by their deceitful business practices to take advantage of consumers.
This company is very professional. Polite, courteous & takes time to explain what needs to be done. They go above & beyond for the customer. I really enjoyed speaking with their customer service personnel. I highly recommend them.
I had a great experience using this company. My tech, David, was fantastic from the moment he walked through the door. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very willing to answer any questions I had. I would absolutely work with Air Star again.
Had techs come out two times neither time was my issue resolved, I won’t be having them come out a third time.
Very positive experience using Air Star through American Home Shield....got a call from Air Star w/in a day of posting request; technician (Jordi) came next day on time, fixed the heating system quickly and took the time to show me the problem and explain what he did to fix it; was professional and helpful.
Tech was amazing from the moment he walked in our front door. Very friendly, patient and knowledgeable. He let me know exactly what he was doing every step of the way. I was so stressed with what I was told by other contractors might be wrong with my unit and he took care of it right away saving me not only money but peace of mind. So thankful to have came across this company. Highly recommend!!! Plus who gets to have Bruce Willis personally fix their AC :) Thank you David! Definitely requesting them again!
Sent out by AHS, they provided great service and were actually able to help out. I will call them if I ever needed help in the future.
Tiffany and Haley were very professional. They take calls. The technician was absolutely useless and didnt care. Was in a rush to call it a day. Didnt really look at anything. Left my door open and took off without even telling me anything.
I’ve been a happily loyal Airstar customer for many years. I love thier premium programs that include maintenance and after hours plus weekend services that have been a saving grace several times over the years. Most of all, I love thier commitment to timeliness, real and earnest customer service and the empathy and kindness that seems to be lost in business these days. You can trust Airstar to give great advice and do their very best to do the right thing for their customers. From the way they answer calls, check-in frequently during the process, show up at your door well prepared to treat your home with care, explain the work, costs and timelines both in technical and layman’s terms, work with attention to detail and accuracy and speak with kindness as they complete the work, Airstar is absolutely a 5 Star organization worthy of its customers. I won’t work with anyone else for HAVC services, these are good people.
Absolutely the worst, this review comes after filing report with BBB, and THBA (obviously). This is a joke is a company and the “boss” or “owner” is laughable. I asked for a quote for a simple blown out motor for the fan for one of my outside units. (Myself Being an electrician, but out of town) they told me a TXV value needed replacing and there was a hole in my compressor. Neither are true. I told them that over the phone after getting and estimate for $12,424 over the phone to put a new unit in. I laughed hung up, and replaced the fan motor when I got home. The owner, especially is a joke, arrogant and extremely unprofessional. Must have a pretty unhappy life at home, if any.
Used them through my Fidelity warranty and they are top notch!
I was so please with David the tech he was awesome. Not only in skill but his personality was off Chart! Installers did an awesome job, used drop cloths and they cleaned up jobsite when finished. I was very very please!
So I am having trouble with my ac it's not blowing cold air so I contacted AHS and they sent air star service and I'll give them that they came quick within 5 hours of me putting the order they came but the first thing the service guy did when he got to my house was say that where i had the fillter located was wrong because is would be harder to charge and started to try and sale me a filter that would need to changed once a year. Then he went outside to check the unit and he changed two parts and then sayed that the problem was that it had a big leak and then he started to tell my husband that it was not worth getting the problem fixed and started to try and sell him a new unit that he said it would cost $12,000 when in reality it was a small leak only needed 1lb of freon and when my husband told him that he didnt have the money to put a new unit he stated to tell my husband that they sale the the freon at $170 a LB and then told him that my unit didn't need 1LB that it needed 3LB and he didn't use a mask and the cherry on top was that he was asking for beer and he was really disrespectful with other thing that any person should say a father that has a daughter.
This company is at least 3x as expensive as competitors. You won’t know that until you pay for them to come to your house & “diagnose” the problem though.
