I had been dealing with a “Choice home” warranty issue for five weeks, when I finally called “Knight in shining armor”, I had heard great things about this company from Neighbors! The owner answered my call I explained that we had been without AC for five weeks in the Texas heat and he was at my house within the hour. As he made the drive over , He provided a status of where he was several times. Amazing! Once he arrived, He did a very detailed job over the next 2 1/2 hours, thoroughly checking everything out and getting my unit up and running. Within two hours our house was cool again. At 8 o’clock that evening Robert called back to see how the AC was working . We were so pleasantly surprised when we got his call! I don’t know of another company that Has that incredible follow up! It was such a delighter to receive that type of 10 star service! WOW! I highly recommend this company ! It is a small business with an owner committed to quality & excellent service. Robert is personally involved with each service call and does an amazing job. This company will be our “go to “ AC and heating from now on. If you’re wondering about pricing ? We felt it was such a great price for the diligence and quality work that was done! Thank you Robert and Company!
Called after hours and was able to have Robert help us with the issue with our AC. He was friendly, prompt, and helpful in showing us exactly how to fix the problem if we ever ran into it again. We tried to replace the thermostat unit ourselves and blew a fuse. So, Robert came to the rescue, fixed the issue, and installed our Nest unit for us in a timely manner, with short notice. I called around to other companies after hours and wasn’t able to get anyone to come out until the next day. However, Robert came out in just 45 mins after we contacted him. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others, and use him for any future needs! Thank you again!

This company was hired to diagnose a problem I was having with the furnace in a recently purchased home. I bought a home warranty thru old republic with the home purchase and knight in shining Armour (KISA) was their contracted repair service. I was greeted by the owners young son who proceeded to tell me that the very first thing I need to do is clean the system for an out of pocket cost of $375 or my claim to the home warranty company would not be accepted. He then proceeded to tell me that both the heater and the AC unit were inoperable and needed replaced. He suspected a power issue. He submitted a repair order to the home warranty company for over $6,000. The warranty company called and asked several questions about any electrical failure and I began to grow suspicious about KISA. I decided to call a local independent contractor to come take a look and discovered there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with my AC unit and the furnace was fixed in 15 minutes with a $30 part! I've asked KISA to return the $375 I paid them (to apparently assist with the attempt to defraud the home warranty company) and the owner ignored my calls for months. Then i was told "call the office" theyll get it straightened out. Still never got a check. I did report this to the home warranty company, but not sure if they took action. But anyway....beware of these scammers!
Great emergency service on a Saturday. Got my unit back up and running.
He came in. Was friendly and professional. Helped me figure out exactly what was wrong without beating around the bush. Showed me pictures to verify what was wrong. Explained things in terms I could understand. Overall a good guy doing great work

Robert and his team did an incredible job. They were very professional and polite. A shout out to Caleb who asked if he could sweep our stairs and entrance way because some insulation had fallen. Things like that set this company apart from the rest. Thank you again Robert!

they came out and did a repair and put in a new coil and when they turnd on the unit they blew fiberglass insulation thru the house and was still getting flakes the the house , I called Robert and he said to call somebody and he would reimburse me for the cost than said he would not pay for the clean up and just had the ducts cleaned a few month before hand, then he said I was bully him when he promised to pay, He thinks its ok for fiberglass to blow the the house.and also didn't finish the drain on pan liner .this has been on going for months. Got a lawyer to send a request to pay the bill and still he will not pay , do not use this guy , knight in shining armor more like knight in a hobo suit .. beware...call another company. Robert acts like a child , when confronted. not professional at all.I guess it is time to see him small claims court. and the better business bureau ,

We highly recommend Robert for your AC service and repair needs.He showed up few minutes early than the time that he gave which is a great customer service to begin with.The entire experience of getting our non functioning AC fixed from him was outstanding.As he was diagnosing the issue, he walked us through every detail and was patient enough to listen to our questions/ concerns and address them. In the end he not only fixed the problem but gave us some excellent maintenance tips and suggested some options to consider to ensure longevity of our AC. He is professional and knows his work very well. At no point of time we felt that he is giving us wrong information. He exactly pointed out to the problem, fixed it and got it to it’s working capacity.We highly recommend him if you are looking for a local and honest AC repair guy, who not only solves your issues but gives out great tips so look no further. My system just stopped working and I called this company based on a recommendation. They came out and did a system check based on process of elimination. I love this because sometimes the problem is super simple and easy to solve. We thought we had a simple fix but unfortunately I had a massive leak in my compressor which he showed me. My system was certainly outside its life span so I knew was coming. They quickly got me up and running and at a fair price. House is super cool now and the family is happy! Thank you! I will definitely recommend!

I called one night after hours and they answered me immediately, and were happy to help. Robert showed up the next morning in the time frame they gave me and he took care of everything quickly! Robert even took the time to answer any questions I had as well! Great company and customer service!!
We made a call to Robert last night (after hours) in order to get a quick service for the year on our AC and he was more than happy to talk with us and setup an appointment for first thing this morning. He showed up in the two hour window as promised and he was very professional and straightforward about the job he was coming to perform. He was very knowledgeable in the job he was here to perform along with having a great attitude and customer service skills. I most definitely have found my AC and Heating needs here with Robert and Knight in Shining Armor heating and air. We very much appreciate the service and attention to detail.
