Masten has done it again! We had our AC go out last year and unfortunately today it went out for a bad part- they had a service guy out there in less than an hour and fixed! Don’t hesitate, call them! They will make sure you are taken care of! 5 stars! Thank you Masten for being the best in the business!

Masten Air installed one of my AC units but they didn’t replace the drip pan, which was 15 years old, and I ended up with a major leak. This happened on a Thursday night and I called them on Friday morning to come out, which they did, but told me they couldn’t replace the drip pan until Monday. I had the leak stopped and Serv Pro out who had everything drying, but when the service guy from Masten Air came, he caused it to stop leaking again through the ceiling and said he couldn’t come until Monday to replace the drip pan. He just expected me to have it leak through my ceiling for the weekend? I called another AC company that came right out and fixed the situation. I don’t recommend this company.
Masten re-did our whole HVAC system and continues to do the upkeep on it. They are an awesome company - I have recommend them to everyone I know in need of their services!
Woke up to an AC issue and Mastens was able to meet me by noon to diagnose the issue. And it was resolved and fixed within minutes! I was hardly inconvenienced for having AC issues throughout the morning. Very impressed!
I have been using Masten Air and Heating now for many years and have never been disappointed. They take excellent care of all our rent houses and my personal home. I can't say enough about their service!
Our A/C started getting finnicky last night at midnight. I called Masten this morning and they had a technician out within just a couple hours. Ryan quickly identified the problem, explained what was going on and had the new hard start equipment installed in about 20 minutes. Super impressed. Anything HVAC related is scary and always assumed to be expensive but was happy with the price to get our house cooling again. Thanks!
You know it when you see it. Integrity, hardworking, reliable, honest. Jason Masten, I know you are a humble man, but what you did for us today to help with our AC was truly wonderful. For anyone who doesn't already know about Masten Air Conditioning in Lake Dallas, they are the real deal. Sometimes it is the little things, looking you in the eye, having grown the business from the ground up, even started when you were just a boy learning from your grandfather. That, combined with your extensive knowledge and honest caring heart, make you a jewel in the Lake Cities community. I wasn't kidding when I said, "When the Masten trucks pull up in front of your house, you KNOW everything will be alright." Your entire Team, from the calming voice answering your Emergency Hotline number to each and every one of the Masten Technicians, such a blessing. Thank you for providing such high-quality services and for fixing our issues so quickly.
RUN. They were dismissive about asbestos during their install. The unit is not large enough for the home. Their response to my concerns and complaints have been to be nasty and explain things to me as though I am stupid or doing something to make it not work.
We have used this company for over 10 years and they installed our complete system once it was clear continued repairs would be pointless. Although they are a little bit more expensive than others, their customer service is excellent and we have always had great a experience with their services.
I had submitted a request thru their web portal for an estimate on replacing my AC units. I received an e-mail response on the same day requested asking if certain days would work but that is where it stopped. I sent an e-mail for confirmation to see if the date I had responded with was still available and no response. I tried calling the company to see if that day would work and they hung up on me.
Please avoid at all costs!
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! They did a pre-purchase inspection on a home and notated a 16° delta in temperature upstairs. They claimed to have “fixed the issue with insulation in blower compartment.” When I called to say the issue still existed, it started with “it’s probably a different issue. We’ll have to charge you $99 to come back out”. No matter what I said, she *insisted* that it could not be the same problem. The problem was ALWAYS the temperature difference. Adding insulation did NOT address that issue. I was stunned by their lack of willingness to entertain the fact that the technician may have made a misdiagnosis and not fixed the issue. We are human and make mistakes. It’s how we respond that matters. Their response left me saddened by their lack of concern for their quality of work. I called a REPUTABLE company to come out and they immediately checked and noticed the refrigerator level was down 60%. There was no mention on the Masten work order that they even checked the refrigerant. Nor did they check for a leak. Their money first response, lack of willingness to admit the mere possibility of an error, and general dismissive attitude made it clear to me that this is not a good company with which to do business. I never write negative reviews (this may be my first ever), because everyone can have an off day, but this was bad enough that I hope no one else has to have my experience and I felt it was necessary.
So far so good. Had new system installed spring 2021. Works flawlessly. Had 1 year maintenance call last week. Showed up early. Unheard of for contractors, right? Got to work, was real friendly, finished and left. Real professional company IMO.

Our preferred A/C and Heat System maintenance, have been customers since in Flower Mound and now live in Arlington, approximately 10+yrs. They are a family owned and run business, very honest and trustworthy, do not want to use another A/C/Heating company. Thank you Masten, we appreciate you.

Honest and great work. They have replaced two units at my home. It’s nice working with a independently owned business...not a corporation.
