John and his crew at Texas Air Care are outstanding. We've worked with them for over 20 years on 2 homes in Houston, as well as our Galveston and Ranch house. A+
I was a maintenance customer. They left a condensation valve closed that caused a ton of water and mold damage in a rental property of mine. The owner then accused me of being at fault! Avoid this place at all costs
I was very impressed with the service from Texas Air Care. They showed up the same day I called, they came when they said they would and they kept up communication. We needed a new unit for our business and they came the very next day to replace it and it was a reasonable price. We DEFINITELY recommend them and will use them in the future.
I highly recommend John and Texas Air Care. He has always been very responsive and will come out the same day you call if at all possible. He installed a new AC/Heating System for me about 18 months ago and I have not had any problems at all so far... until this past weekend. We had some thunderstorms Saturday night and the power briefly went out a few times and the thermostat was knocked out and would not come back on. Turning the breaker off for a min, then flipping back on didn't reboot the thermostat, so I called John Monday morning. He came out early that afternoon and had it fixed in less than 10 min(Some secret reset code was needed). He takes care of his customers and does quality work. Very friendly service all around.
We called Texas Air Care because our unit was making scary noises. John came out the same day. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He didn't just take our money. He realized right away that our unit was probably still under warranty and unfortunately, he was unable to do warranty work on our unit (because of the brand, not him), but he gave us direction and advice about getting the work done under warranty. He even took time out of his very busy day to respond to a couple of questions afterwards. I highly recommend him. He has high moral standards. Good guy.
This is the most professional prompt service I have EVER received with service to my homes ac and I'm on house number 3. I was given a quote by a company named Air Specialist who quoted me over $2000 to replace a fan motor assembly and ac compressor there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH. Thank you John you're an honest craftsman and I'll recommend you to anybody I know that needs this type of service.
I reached out to John with Texas Air Care to get a second opinion regarding a leak that could not be found by another A/C company. John and Dana were checking on it first thing the day after I reached out to them, John gave me several options and let ME decide which of the options to pursue due to financial differences. I greatly appreciated his honesty and scheduled the replacement of my furnace for a few days later (to coincide with my day off). The crew arrived a bit early (which worked out great) and got to work immediately after putting down protection for the floor. John explained how the new thermostat worked and helped me with the set up rather than making me read the instruction manual as others might have done. John even checked back in on me at the end of the day to make sure everything was good. My only regret was that I did not find out about this company sooner! If I could give him ten stars out of five I certainly would!
Texas Air Care has saved our summer. Was told by a company I was going to have to buy an entire new unit! John came out and looked at the unit and turns out the unit could be repaired and I didnt have to have a new unit at the moment. Saved me several thousands of dollars, all because he is honest and takes pride in what he does. Will forever have my business!

My Father used to say that Honesty is the best Policy.... if you are honest it will pay in the long run. After reseraching quite a lot for a AC, I found John, a very honest man who will tell you what exactly you need. He is not a person who sold me more than I required, but told me what I needed. i was about to replace my whole AC system when he told me that my coils were good and there was not need to replace them now since there should last for 3-5 years, and hence he replaced only my condensor unit, in addtion when he saw my upper floor AC condensor unit dirty he washed it for no additional cost because he just felt it will be good for me. In my opinon he is the best AC genius and I have decied to have him for all my AC related work going forward. Thank You John!! May God bless You!

Every five star review here is accurate and well deserved! After frustration with multiple other companies, we luckily discovered TAC a year ago and have never looked back. John is a master of his trade, honest, kind, and knowledgeable. Having been doing this for several decades he knows how to evaluate a problem and fix it if possible and cost effective and is happy to discuss it with you honestly in terms you can easily understand.
A friend of mine's Ac was acting up, we called Texas Air care and they came out the next day and serviced my buddie's unit, in and out in a little over and hour, great service and fair price. The tech John Neal was absolutely great
