You're not done searching for an AC contractor until you've talked to these guys. Great price, easy financing and fast, friendly service! Sitting here under a blanket typing this because my new central ac makes me forget there's a heat wave in Weslaco!
First American warranty contracted this company for my ac unit, had an appointment scheduled between 8 am-12, called them several times to verify tech arrival time, phone line is busy or no answer tech did not arrived until after 5 pm I lost work for first part of morning , still ac not cooling . Worst company ever .
This company has come to my home twice, not by choice, and they were over 4 hours late both times! We had a power issue to the system and the "technician" came and turned on the breaker and left. He did not check if the system was actually working. He left the system blowing hot air. Since it was after hours, because he was late, they would not answer the phone when I called to ask for him to return. You cannot even leave a voicemail because their box is full. They have a number you can "text" and no one responds! We have been without AC in the S. Texas heat and no one has the decency to return the call. Do not trust this company with your AC problems! I don't believe any of these positive reviews! Don't be deceived!
I got a new ac system installed about 5 months ago with this company. I just recently starting having issues with my ac system . So I had someone that I actually trust come out and check and this company Didn’t do the installation right causing me to have to pay within the last month $450 . I don’t recommend this company to anyone .
Poor communication, never answers the calls. Need to call 5-6 times to get an answer. They work as a third party with First America Home Warranty and it seems they don't care when it comes to FAHW customers. The technician was real helpful , professional.
Juan came out to fix our AC. He was very easy to communicate with before he arrived. He showed up and conducted himself professionally. Most importantly he fixed our AC units quickly, and did a thorough job inspecting everything.
Before talking to Wallace's Heating and Cooling I talked to 4 over HVAC companies and they all tried to overcharge me and some made mistakes specifying what units I needed based on my existing units.
When there happened to be issues with my ductwork, they took care of it at no extra cost and made sure I was happy with everything.
I could not have picked a better HVAC company to replace my 30 year old AC/Funace. They were excellent to work with. They walked me through the different types of ACs (SER Level, Single Stage, 2 Stage, Variable) and walked me through the different furnaces. Their recommendation never changed as they recommended the right options that were specific to my house and didn't try to oversell me, in fact they told me I shouldn't spend extra money on X. They ended up replacing 2 Acs (3 Ton and 5 Ton) and a 3 Ton Furnace.
My name is Sergio Sanchez, I've been waiting for my AC to be repaired since August of 2022. Today is the First Day of April 2023. South Texas heat is no joke. I haven't slept well in months. My quality of life has taken a steep decline. The high humidity inside my home has me constantly sick with respiratory issues. Last time a Wallace tech came by was on March 27, 2023. As of yesterday 3pm Wallace hadn't even ordered parts or contacted my insurance to update the claim to find out what the next step is. No Offense to the hard working techs that have come over to my house constantly diagnosing the same problems over and over. It's who ever running the office that ain't worth the ground they walk on. The operators that answer the phone speak so rude, and thats if i lucky they even answer. They don't want to do the repair work for the insurance instead they want you to by a whole new AC System from THEM!!! They constantly blame the insurance company for taking a long time, when they themselves withhold information fron the insurance company intentionality to keep customers suffering longer in hopes I break and buy a whole new system from them. Am I the only Wallace customer with this problem? The last time they actually worked on the outside unit, They claimed the Job was completed and it was working fine. The pictures I have say otherwise. What you see is exaclty how they left it. I NEED HELP!!! 😔 PLEASE....
My furnace stopped working and I called Wallace's Heating and Colling. They walked me through an easy troubleshoot procedure. Found out it was the thermostat.
Great and honest customer service. He came by to check wiring issues with a few Google Nests. It turned out my client's house has radiant heating which required another vendor with that expertise. He recommended someone else, which turned out to be excellen
I called yesterday to clean our chimney and in less than 24 hours he has already been by and taken care of it. He was very neat about laying down a sheet/tarp to protect the carpet. He also gave me lots of wonderful advice on how we could make some small changes/repairs to our fireplace ourselves. I highly recommend his services. He is also a very friendly person.
He even changed our air filters for us. I thought his pricing was very reasonable. My house smells much better and our air ducts are much cleaner thanks to Wallace's Heating and Colling!
He was more than accommodating in working with us. He made sure to let us know scheduling and keep us updated. He was even patient with us when I was a few minutes late meeting him at the house from work. THANKS!!
He came out to quote me for a HVAC replacement. He answered my questions and explained some things to me. Then we walked over to the broken A/C unit which had started the whole search for HVAC replacement. He offered to take a quick look at it and fixed it on the spot. I won't be getting my system replaced in a hurry now, but when I do, I would definitely keep Phil at the top of the list.
He is wonderful contractor and was on time, neat, did a great job and was very personable. I would not hesitate to recommend him to another homeowner that needs work. Also they offer a 10% discount to Angies List members!
Wallace’s Heating and Cooling was done without getting the house dusty or dirty. I'm so glad I got this done before Winter. I have such peace of mind knowing all my air ducts are clean, the air flow problem is resolved, and the fireplace is good to go for Winter. House had never had these services done before. He was very professional and did not rush at all. He even went up into the attic and found that one bedrooms was not getting heat or air conditioning due to it being shut off at the main airway. He resolving that issue was well worth having the service done.
He was quick and did a great job. On time as promised. I will definitely use him again! The exhaust goes under the foundation and he had to deal with a few issues to get the cleaning done. I will be calling on him for my work this year also.
