Edwin M. was very helpful and patient with our family, he understood our needs and was honest and informative as to the purchase and expectations for the central AC unit he suggested and the hvac technicians did an amazing job, they were prompt and respectful, the job was done in less than a day and in this current heat wave, I’m using blankets in the house now. It was great professional service from start to finish! The entire team was professional and efficient. We switched out our MasterCool system to the Refrigerated system and we are not disappointed in the slightest. We are 100% satisfied customers! I would recommend them to anyone thinking of switching. They replaced all airducts and removed our old wall unit heater and left the hallway looking brand new - with matching paint and sheetrock. Thank you Edwin and his team!

I decided to switch to refrigerated air this year. AEdqin Martinez came to the house and we discussed the plan and price. I am very pleased with the whole process and would not hesitate to recommend this company.
On 4/11, I made a call to arrange an appointment, and spoke with a gentleman who scheduled it for today (4/14). During the conversation, I was informed that I would receive a call closer to the arrival time. However, I never received that call. At around 1:00 PM, I contacted the business to confirm whether someone would be arriving, and the person I spoke with promised to check and call me back. Unfortunately, I never received a callback from them. Later in the day, I made another call, but the same thing happened - I was told I would receive a callback, but I never did. I find this behavior very unprofessional, as it seems the business is unable to keep appointments. Given the unbearable desert heat, if you are looking for prompt service or someone who will actually show up, I suggest contacting someone else.
My first interaction with Empire Refrigeration was with Edwin Martinez. Edwin was most professional and personable. A simple statement like, “I’m looking forward to meeting you on (scheduled appointment),” almost sealed the deal before it even began. This type of customer service is what I look for in a long business relationship. Empire has the right people in Edwin Martinez. Apart from being soft spoken (not pushy), honest, and professional, Edwin also does his homework! He was able figure out the size of my home and approximate number of rooms before even stepping inside my home, thus knowing my cooling needs. The installation crew was also friendly and very efficient (all work minus the patchwork, was completed in one day). Adam, the lead technician, walked me through every step of what was being done and demonstrated extreme knowledge and confidence in his work. After the patchwork crew finished their work, all traces of Empire working in and out of my house was barely noticeable. Empire Refrigeration Manager, Edwin Martinez, has made himself available after the installation for a fast response to any questions I have had and for equally fast service for any needs my cooling system may has had. I am satisfied with the knowledge of the Empire Refrigeration team and am happy with the product, service, and results that they provided.
Empire is a great place to get your ac from whether it’s a new one or swap out for refrigerated air very helpful office answered quick and Edwin’s the salesman was very helpful and had lots of knowledge on the ac he picked the right unit for my house and the unit works great and the installation crew was great on time and polite and answered any questions I had would definitely recommend this company and Edwin to any one looking for new ac.
Edwin and the Empire Refrigeration team have provided my family and myself with professional and excellent service from day one. Five years ago my family was inquiring about central heating and cooling on our home, after searching through companies , Edwin and his team provided us with an excellent price and professional service. Recently we were in a real bad situation with another Solar company, that basically took our money leaving us with a system that doesn't work, and the service was horrible would never respond. We found out that Empire Refrigeration now offers solar panels service, and once again with professionalism and excellent service, Edwin and his team came through fixing and upgrading our solar panel system. We recommend this company to anyone that is looking for either service in heating/cooling or solar panel systems.

Edwin and his team are top-rated professionals!! From start to finish I received wonderful service. I appreciated how quick and efficient the process was. But more importantly I love the attention to detail that every worker displayed. I’ve lived in El Paso for a few years and this is the first time that I’m 100% satisfied with the work done 😅. Empire refrigeration was not satisfied until we were completely happy. I’ve already started recommending this company to others because they really are THAT GOOD! But I suggest booking an appointment sooner rather than later because as soon as it gets hot you may not be able to get them in as quickly as I did. Stay cool, EP.

My family has been using a water cooled air conditioner for years. Once we started looking for refrigeration, it didn't take us long before we settled on Empire Refrigeration. Edwin laid out all our options and clearly explained the benefits and limits of each one. Once we decided on our unit, the installation process went by extremely quickly. They started and completed most of the work within a day, leaving only minor jobs and a small issue that was resolved fairly quickly. Throughout which, we could easily reach out to Edwin for any questions. I would definitely recommend Empire to anyone interested.
My husband and I decided to let go of our master cooler and have a refrigerated air installed. We called two companies for a quote, Empire refrigeration was one of them and was first to come and give us a quote because they can come on Saturdays. Mr. Edwin came and was very thorough in letting us know what we need and what will happen during the installation. He gave us affordable financing options. We told him we will call him again to let him know if we will get the service of his company. We were impressed with his knowledge that after 10 minutes, we decided to get the service of Empire Refrigeration and cancel our appointment with the second company. Mr. Edwin came back after a few hours for the contract and set up our payment system. We scheduled the work after a week when we will be off from work. The men came on time! They were very skillful and worked together as a team. They finished the job within 5-6 hours and left everything clean. Everything was meticulously and precisely done! The Empire Refrigeration employees who we met were all very professional in treating their customers.
We had HVAC/DUCT CLEANING WITH SOLAR PANELS INSTALL. The salesperson Edwin comes selling and promising about how Empire Refrigeration does a great job and clean your ducts and leave your house clean from the work done. It took us two days to clean our home to remove all the white dust of the sheet rock and the dust from the ducts because Edwin's team didn't clean anything as they promised. He told us they pride themselves on communication after the sale and keeping you INFORMED , well Edwin never returns your calls or text messages, but he does before the sale. Edwin told us the HVAC job would take 2 to 3 days to complete (in contract too), well 3 weeks later after calls and text messages not returned to fix sheetrock work we had to communicate through Solar workers. Edwin also told us and in the contract that Solar Panels would take 4 to 6 weeks, well we are on the the 12th week and still not complete. Edwin told us that they would pay our Electric Bill for 2 months and in it was also in the contract and you have to call and text with no response to try and collect from Edwin the money for the electric bill payment. We ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE 2nd MONTH'S PAYMENT. He now states they will pay our 3rd month's electric bill because they are still not complete with the job, we had to get the owner involved, but still SAME TYPE OF SERVICE. We are so dissatisfied with Empire Refrigeration. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
I had Edwin from empire refrigeration to install two units in two different homes he did an excellent job and when one unit was defective they changed out the unit in a timely manner they covered up all drywall needed I recommend this company for you a/c conversion great job guys
Decided to install a combo unit on the Mobile home of April of this year. After inspecting the work attachment to the existing duct under the home was not fitted up properly. So called sent pictures and the installers came out and fixed the issue. Cooler kept freezing up afterwards so called again and a service tech came out about a week later looked over the system and discussed the issue. Came to the conclusion that we had to keep the cooler at 78 to function properly. Well just yesterday oct 25 we attempted to turn on the heater at night. Opened the gas valve and set the temp heater never turned on. So gave the company a call and informed them of the issue. Informed me that there was something on the cooler that was not switched on so hopefully it does not freeze before the technician comes around. So my advice to everybody is to shop around before employing Empire for your HVAC needs.
Edwin or Super Edwin as he should be called saved the day! My A/C wasn’t working and the thermostat was off. He worked me through the problem and provided excellent customer service. I would happily recommend this business for all A/C needs! I cannot thank Edwin enough for his help getting my A/C back up and running as the temperatures will reach upper 90’s tomorrow.
