Kevin was more than prompt for a Memorial Day call. Our AC was not working at all. He was able to isolate the problem and give a quote. Since it was a holiday I didn’t expect anyone available. His professionalism and politeness was evident from the get go. As for the repair same quality service. This pleasant experience was definitely refreshing and who doesn’t appreciate a happy expert! BCI is fortunate to have him onboard. Also Rhonda was great to work with at the office. We will definitely continue calling on BCI for all future situations related to AC work.
I work over nights, so when I got home, they had just shown up and were blaring music at 7 am. I asked them if they wouldn't mind turning it off as I had just got home from a 14 hour shift and needed to sleep during the day. They agreed and turned it off, but after about 30 minutes, they turned it back on again. Mind you they are working right outside my room. They also did not give any courtesy notice when they turned off the water to replace the pipes. We had to find out mid shower. The last straw was our internet went down. After troubleshooting, I decided to check the cable. Come to find out that they cut our internet cable. For no reason. The piping and digging was done and the hole was refilled yesterday (3/29/23). We still had internet up until early this morning. What is the reason for cutting an internet cable?
We have confidence in BCI for our plumbing and AC maintenance and repairs. Jacob, our service tech for the maintenance call today, was on time, courteous, and capable. The pricing is very good for the services performed. I have confidence our system will meet and beat the summer heat thanks to BCI.
Jacob did a great job for us. We had a component failure and he tracked down the uncommon part in a just a couple of days. No doubt that he takes pride in his work and is knowledgeable. It’s very clear why neighbors highly recommended BCI.

I have used BCI Mechanical for years for my AC system maintenance. Dustin has always been very helpful. Recently my AC was not working up to par. Dustin diagnosed the problem and worked with me to help me understand what my options were. It was wonderful to have someone so willing to answer all my questions and spend the time it took. He pulled in Dylan when he knew we needed help with determining tonnage. Dylan was at my house within a very short time and assessed the situation perfectly. I decided I wanted to purchase a new AC and I was shown choices available and was able to pick what worked best for me. Very prompt and easy to work with! A new AC was installed in my house the very next morning. Unbelievable! I would highly recommend this company.
I have used BCI for my routine maintenance on our HVAC. The techs are friendly, however they don’t call to remind you of your bi-annual service. That’s on you to schedule. In addition, when my AC quit working on the weekend, they didn’t answer the phone. What good is a HVAC company if they are not available when you need them. I’ve also had unpleasant experiences with their office staff when they do answer the phone.
I have immense gratitude for the care and concern of so many people in different levels with this company. I felt like we were their only customer and priority when we were going through our selection of products and installations. We were screwed over by another company that made some big mistakes (Strittmatter), but BCI stepped in and went above and beyond to fix the damage that was done and help us get back into our house. They were patient with us, answered endless questions, and they turned a devastating experience into a non-traumatic one. I can’t recommend this company enough. Thank you for treating us like family, for advocating for us, for staying up to date on best practices in this field, and for doing a phenomenal job the right way. We’ll be customers for life!
I’m totally satisfied with BCI. BCI installed a complete HVAC system in my house in May 2022. The work included replacing the air conditioner (in the side yard) and the furnace (in the attic). Right from the start, I was impressed with BCI personnel. Their proposal was competitive, and clearly identified the scope of work and the specific equipment to be installed. The sales rep answered all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. The installation was accomplished quickly and smoothly. BCI’s crew was hard working and knowledgeable. They knew what had to be done and they accomplished it quickly and accurately. And follow up issues were resolved immediately. I was concerned that a project like mine might turn into a big mess. But, to me, it was a big success. I sincerely recommend the people at BCI.
The Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful when I called to schedule plumbing service. Dwayne provided repairs to both bathroom toilets. He was prompt in arriving and let me know in advance what time he would be here. He was very efficient, professional, and courteous. He was able to diagnose the problem and resolve it within 30 minutes. I appreciate Dwayne and BCI for all they do.
We had two water heaters in our house replaced by BCI. They were easy to schedule with, prompt with appointments, and super efficient during installation. The technician explained all the technical details well and left an immaculate work area. I would definitely recommend them.
Attic Insulation Dylan Tekell and his team completed an overhaul of my attic in November 2021. They had an enormous task. There had been 3 wood shingle roofs put on my home since being built in the lake 1960s. Many of those shingles fell in my attic crushing the insulation with no cleanup by the roofer! Dylan took on that job which took more than a week clearing the attic first of all wood shingles and wood as a basis for the last roof replacement of composition shingles that also fell. He then cleared the attic of the previous insulation and ductwork. He then replaced the ducts and put fiberglass insulation with new vents through the house and put foam over all exposed cracks. Their work was absolutely exceptional!! The two men were here every day before 8! Dylan was overseeing constantly and Leo, the manager also came and then inspected their work. If anyone plans to have new insulation and ducts replaced in the attic I would hire Dylan Tekell of BCI Mehanical here in Denton, Texas. He is very personable and easy to work with. Prices are reasonable and no add ons once you sign the contract. Margaret. M. Griffin Southridge
I called and they were prompt to schedule appointment. Pleasant employee, but two items on my list were not fixed I failed to walk around before the left. Bill over $1300. For things that are still broken. Don't understand why it was so expensive an disappointed that I am still having problem with sink slow drain and facut they were to replace. Will contact them today to see if they can compensate
Pinpointing effectively the issue...corrected the ac problem and the system was restored and it is working... excellent job.
The receptionist was unbelievably rude and passive-aggressive. My AC went out at night, so I asked for emergency service and was ignored. Don't put 24/7 emergency service on your website if you don't have the resources to back it up. When I called the next morning the receptionist gave me a lot of attitude complaining about how busy they were, and she said I would have stay home all day as she couldn't schedule a window of time for when they would come. I hired someone else. They called me twice the next day even angrier and tried to bully me into hiring them. I explained that I hired another contractor on the first call but they refused to listen. I was on the fence about leaving a negative review until the second call. During the second call a man who I presume is the manager, yelled at me and implied I was lying about my ill treatment. Other than Walmart I have never encountered a company with so little regard for their customers.
Dwayne was prompt, knowledgeable and diligent. He made sure the problem was solved before leaving.
We have been a customer of BCI Mechanical since moving to Texas in 2006, and with two homes. We have used them for Spring/Fall maintenance on our HVAC and also plumbing. During this last Spring maintenance, we decided to replace our old HVAC system with a new, higher efficiency unit. Additionally, it was time to replace our two aging 50 gallon water heaters with a tankless unit. BCI Mechanical was our ‘go to’ company to do the work. The team from BCI (Dustin, Dylan, Jeremy & his crew) did the install of the HVAC one morning and the tankless water heater unit on another morning with virtually little disruption to our lives. They removed all old equipment and their was absolutely NO mess in the house! Kudos to the team! It’s been about a week since the both units were installed and we are definitely aware of the benefits of both new systems.....it is remarkable. It also gives me great comfort knowing I no longer have two 50 gallon water tanks sitting up in the attic!! We are thankful for BCI and will be customers for life! .
Never used them, but one of their employees is my neighbor, the alarm going off on the company vehicle, all hours of the day has become a nuance and a disturbance. Been 2 weeks since my initial post and the only effort I've seen in the company is them asking myself to identify myself. Zero effort in fixing the problem. Literally the worst company to be your neighbor. Check your vehicles.
BCI replaced my inside and outside HVAC system. Dylan’s team did an excellent job!! They were responsive, friendly, and efficient! I am very happy with their services!!
