My wife and I were dealing with our 20 year old HVAC system struggling to keep up in the summer, which wasn’t an option with a baby on the way. From the initial appointment to the installation of a new unit, Rhino took care of us and clearly communicated everything along the way. If you’re in the Little Elm area, strongly consider these guys if you need help with your AC!
Our AC went out during Summer 2023, but we were fortunate enough to find Rhino Air. Once we spoke with them, they were at our house within 20 minutes. Unfortunately, after checking our AC they informed us they had to order parts (due to the model of our AC) and it would take about 2 days to get them. Luckily for us Rhino Air was able to obtain the parts and fixed our AC the following day! We had a great experience with Rhino Air and would highly recommend them! You can tell they value their customers and prioritize their needs!
Terrible customer service. If I could give Ryan less than one star I would. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend using Rhino Air to anyone.
WORST EXPERIENCE with Rhino Air Conditioning and Heating If you enjoy wasting your time, money and being talked down to then this is the company for you! I have noticed reading other reviews from unhappy customers, which I wish I would have done before contacting them. They will not take any accountability. I’m sure there will be a lovely response below this trying to debunk my review but please take the time to read the bad reviews they are spot on! Horrible experience, Ryan and Jessica are extremely rude and unprofessional. They will ignore you after you pay and not fix the problem.
Thank you to Ryan and Jessica at Rhino Air Conditioning and Heating LLC. I had water seeping through my ceiling and found it was from an air conditioning issue. I went to Next Door to ask my neighbors who they would recommend and was met with an over whelming response of referrals saying to call Rhino Air Conditioning and Heating. I filled out the fill form on their website and received an immediate phone call from Jessica. She booked my appointment and the process was easy. They showed up when they said they would be here and called before they came. Ryan was able to diagnose the issue and fixed my air conditioner. Ryan explained in detail what the issue was and walked me through what had happened. The cost was affordable, and it just seemed that they had genuine concern for my family. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs help with their Air conditioning or heating. Thank you again!

Great people to work with.
Thank you Ryan and Yvonne! My motor went out on my outside unit and it was freezing over and not heating the house very well. I was told by another company that I needed another unit because the installation of a new motor was going to be almost a 1/3 of the cost of a new unit. Ryan from Rhino Air came over to give me a second quote on a new unit and a quote on just a new motor installation. After doing a thorough check of the inside and outside units, he gave me estimate of a new hvac system vs fixing my old unit. (Both quotes were less expensive just the new motor installed was considerably less). After weighing the pros and cons with him I had him put in a new motor on my older unit for now. He also gave me some advice on what to do in the future to help my system keep functioning. Thank you Ryan for your punctuality and professionalism and answering all my questions. Rhino Air is my new heating and air company and I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
Had Rhino come fix my heater after a power outage knocked it out. They were on time and knew exactly what was wrong and was able to fix it quickly. Professional, kind, and efficient. Couldn't have asked for more. #providencevillage
I've been a customer of Rhino's since moving to the Aubrey area in early 2020. They communicate well with me as a customer, uising e-mail, text and the phone. Their service philosophy is that preventive maintenance expends the life of the equipment. Given the cost of new AC/Heat, that is a philosophy I can get behind, especially since my home still has builder-grade units. Service seems thorough to me. The process includes photos of any issues found (rust is a problem for me, but not a functional problem yet, and I've seen the photos to show it). They take an interest in what I want and help educate me on good practice for using my units without doing things to shorten their lives. Like change the filters every month. All of their habits push my buttons in a good way. Fully recommend them for you too.
This company worked with my schedule to come look at a heater issue. This is an honest company. I worry about being taken advantage of as a single mom but this group communicated well about the possible issues. Reliable. They didn’t try to over charge. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
Definitely recommend Rhino for any AC needs. We didn’t have air for 2 days I called and they had a technician come out and fix the problem that same day. Ryan was knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
Great company quick to respond and get out same day if there schedule allows it
Ryan was very informative and professional. Found the issue with my AC and working to fix the issue. Would recommend using them and will be a regular customer.
After 2 visits still no cold air coming through the vents. Living in Texas temps inside the house in the 90's is extremely unbearable. Thank goodness another company was able to come out on a Friday evening, figure out the problem, and fix it. I thought I hired a professional AC technician and instead I got a used car salesman.
What a great experience with Ryan and Yvonne! They were able to work me in the same day I called and kept my AC problem from becoming a really big deal. Ryan quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem and gave me some additional advice and education about my system. I highly recommend Rhino and although I hope I won’t need them any time soon, I will not hesitate to call them first if I do.
Terrific service. Have used them multiple times over the years, on 2 homes. Saved us $$$ in the past, when competitor said a new unit was needed, when actually only single part needed replacement. Latest event was AC unit went out, on weekend, during July Texas heat. I was unsure when they could come out to service-not optimistic, guessing we were not the only one with AC problems, called Monday morning, they came out that afternoon to diagnose the problem. Grateful for their prompt service, able to obtain parts and provide install in only 4 days. New system install by lunch time Friday. In the time we have lived in our home, has not felt cooler!! Gentleman and TEAM who came out provided great service, including walking me through what they did, including answering my questions about possible future improvements. 100% recommended and will use them again (hopefully not too soon in the future!!)
These guys are Excellent and they ROCK!!!
Called for an inspection because our a/c went out. At first, they said they couldn’t make it that day. I told them how close I was, and then they said “I was lucky because there was a sudden cancellation”. They showed up in 30 minutes or so, and did not mention any service call fees on the phone before or in person during. I had already taken the panel off myself to check the capacitor, and the lady took my information while the technician checked the unit. Even at this point, no mention of service call fee at all. Tech spent 5 mins checking capacitor and then determined it was the fan motor. Tech started to leave, and the lady asked “aren’t you going to put the panel back on” and the tech said “no, he can do it”… They then said they would email me a quote for the repair. Instead, I got an email with an invoice for a service call of $125. And a separate email for the repair quote. I would of been fine with the service call fee if it was mentioned at some point and agreed upon, but, to not mention it before, during, or even after, and just sending an invoice is poor customer service to say the least. And then the technician refusing to put the panel back on after a 5 minute inspection, and then charging $125 for it is ridiculous. I emailed them back after paying the service call invoice and let them know that I would not be continuing due to the multiple reasons I listed. No response. 2 days later I get a text message saying “hey we’re starting on your warranty process but we never heard back from you, but we should have the part in a couple days”. I texted them back and stated “No thank you”, and I showed them the email I had sent (I sent it twice actually) and then the lady had the audacity to lie over text and say they mentioned their service call and pricing. Terrible customer service, terrible communication, and then dishonesty as well. Would not recommend.
Very professional and honest. I went around with them to look at what they were checking and everything was explained to me well. I learned a few things I didn't know. I'm glad I called when I did because I needed a new capacitor. I highly recommend their services.
