These guys are knowledgeable, honest and extremely fair in pricing. We moved into a new home, 2rd day the Condensor Fan started failing. Called the original install co. on a weekend. We needed a quick reasonable fix. They took advantage of situation, hot/no AC, tried to sell us a whole new system. I called Gulf Coast AC, late in the day on a Saturday. They came out (no charge diagnostic!) earlier than promised and had AC unit working on old fan unit within 10 min. New fan motor installed next day for a third the cost of other co. They proved themselves and earned my business. Thks.
They came right out on a Sunday and had my issue fixed in no time! Will use again for any future service needs!

The gentlemen that showed up exceeded my expectations. My AC unit stopped working due to a water overflow. Both gentlemen arrived beating their time of arrival, on a Sunday in less than an hour after I contacted them. They got my AC unit back up and running in a matter of 10 minutes or less after arriving. Thank you both for all that you do and I will definitely be using these gentlemen again should another issue arise.
These guys are great! Called them around 9am. My AC stopped cooling in the middle of the night and my house was sitting at 80 degrees already. With such a busy schedule, they originally told me they wouldn’t be able to get to me until the afternoon. No problem. Next thing I know I’m getting a text at 10:15 am saying he was on the way. He showed up and found that it was the capacitor, put a used one on to get my house cooled down, and then said he would come back later in the afternoon to put on the new one and wouldn’t take my money until he returned to finish the job. The man didn’t look at me and my family as another job, but as people in need. Super friendly, super professional, and just an all around great guy. Very reasonable pricing too. I’ll never do business anywhere else.
Highly Recommend using Gulf Coast. Very professional & courteous. We had family coming in from out of town & our AC quit working. They made an appointment for same day as I called.. They found that my AC needed to be replaced & gave me a very reasonable quote. They had the equipment & installed the next day. Great communication I received text updates letting me know every detail from initial call to completion of install. We will use them for all HVAC service from now on.
Called on Friday night, tech came over see what’s the problem. He returned Saturday morning with the parts and had me back up and 😎 in no time. At a very affordable price. Would highly recommend!

Fan motor went out and Thomas was Johnny on the spot! Quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in no time!
Thomas was very pleasant and polite, and came out at the original time he estimated. His text system is great too - the program sent a good heads-up for arrival. He checked my a/c out, determined the minor issue, completed the little repairs he needed to do and gave me some great pointers for general maintenance. He did not try to up-sell me on anything, and did not try to push some service that I didn't really need. I will definitely recommend him to others, and will use him in the future if/when we need something done.
People need to look at reviews !! They came to evaluate/repair a leak coming from the ceiling , after seeing what they assumed was causing the problem explained what was going on and what two choices there was one being to put caulking to temporarily stop the leak from continuing claimed it would hold up for a month at least if not more , didn’t take him more than 15 min and charged around $380. We Asked for proof of work that was done a pic or something showing what got done in those 15 min . And nothing was produced, within an hour the leak started again and even worse called them again and they said there was nothing they could do about it that it wasn’t guaranteed to hold long . So we got another company to come out and within 15 min problem was solved the pipe was clogged and the pan was full , that is such a big difference from this tech that stated the pipe was rusted And it would need to be replaced oh and the company that came out and unclogged pipe and emptied pan $90 you would think the first thing that should of been checked was to see if the pipe was clogged , etc Honesty goes a long way along with recommendations!! Lesson learned
Thomas from Gulf Coast AC did consultation/inspection work only for us and came on a recommendation from our neighbor who was happy with his work. The reason for posting this review is that even though the job was small, Thomas went above and beyond in terms of helping us at the time, as well follow through assistance. Conclusions of his inspection finally let us resolve the issue with insurance company that was on-going for 6+ months. While there he fixed incorrect wiring despite not having to do so (previous contractor left it an improper state (fire-hazard)). Months later when we needed advice on a separate issue with a different contractor (sent by the insurance company) he patiently walked us through ins and outs of what was going on and what to watch out for. Was pleasantly surprised by the care/effort shown and how the company treated us as customers, especially when comparing to a lot of other contractors that worked on our homes.
Great workmanship and attention to detail, very friendly and helpful and did a excellent job replacing my whole ac unit, definitely recommend to anyone needing AC work done at a fair price for quality work

Jason and his crew did an excellent job from quote to completion. He was able to come by shortly after I called and visualized the entire project. With a smile and a handshake I knew I had chosen the right company to trust. Not only was the customer service 5 star, the pricing was 5 star (better quote than 2 other companies). 48 hours later we just got the project completed and everything is looking cool for the summer ahead. Good guys, honest, professional, no over charges... My AC got fixed quickly
Gulf Coast AC installed a new coil and compressor. They came at 5 and left by 7 in the evening. The very next day we water dripping from vent. They came back to find the coil was blown open and cold air was going into my attic. They sealed it and said issue was it didn't have time to dry before I used it. We followed directions and waiting to turn on new unit, but issue continued. They came back over 12 times over the next two months compounding issues in my house. They changed system from 3 ton to 2.5. The unit was not cooling the home, just the attic. Then said ducting was the problem, static pressure. I let them "fix" the previously not existing problem.... all the while my attic had cold air blowing into it during the hottest months of the year. My house hit dew point and water fell from the ceiling. My second unit on the other side of house was over exerted and sweating. Over two months they fixed nothing. They actually mis-installed the unit with a gap between the existing furnace and new coil. They improperly installed the duct work pulling insulation into the furnace and coil. The furnace seals broke and now nothing was working. AAA AC came in, reinstalled and fixed all the issues in 24 hours. Worst experience of my life. At this point, I have a claim with the insurance company and a claim with BBB but have not found reimbursement.
