KCA Services Mgt/Owners: Here’s a WARNING TO YOUR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. KCA “won” today (my $400 loss is your gain), but you’ve lost me as a future customer. Your short-sighted business policies compelled me to send this review. I could have (would have) been a long-time, loyal customer. Since, however, I despise unfair dealings, shady practices, and price-gougers… NO, thank you! * I was told, this morning, that the service window was until 3. Tech (Chad Lee) finally arrived close to 5p. I was never provided any eta updates until 30 mins prior to arrival. * PRICING is OUTRAGEOUS. Perhaps I experienced a double or triple whammy: 1. The Boerne Zip-Code Tax 2. The ubiquitous “Fem” Upcharge 3. The “Take-It-or-Leave-It GOTCHA” tax. (My brain whispered, “Best of luck getting the toddler to sleep tonight, if you don’t get the AC going…”) * $99 for ** two minutes ** of diagnosis and no waiver/reduction for using KCA for repair. * I was quoted an astonishing ~$450 for replacing a capacitor (~$25 cost) on our 4-year-old Carrier unit. (Total labor time of 5 minutes, max.) Additionally, it wasn’t easy obtaining KCA’s *advertised* $50 service discount. (Scheduling person denied there was a coupon that would apply, and Tech had to call mgt to confirm, even after I showed the website ad.) * KCA wants to sell their service program, where customer agrees to automatically be billed $14.95/mo (min. 1 year, or todays discount voided), allowing certain discounts. I would have had to commit to ~$180 for the year to obtain a $75 discount today, and still no waiver of today’s $99 diagnostic fee (just for future visits). When I told the tech that a Google search revealed the cost range of todays service should range between ~$60-$300 (w/average being under $200) — so I felt I was being ripped off — he smirked/chuckled and didn’t know how to respond. The technician that came was very personable and respectful. He wore a mask without a problem and even wore booties to keep my floors clean! He explained everything to me in detail which was great!
Carlos was our technician. He was very professional and personable. We felt he was knowledgeable and thorough in assessing the problems with our AC. The company responded to us quickly and we are pleased with the customer service. I highly recommend.
Bradley Peacock provides excellent service and is always courteous. I have used KCA for my past four preventive maintenance services, and they have delivered quality service each time. I ask for Bradley by name when I make my appointments.
After our regular HVAC provider failed to diagnose and fix the problem with our HVAC called KCS, Carlos arrive the next morning on time. He diagnose the problem in the frizzing rain, confirmed the repair was under warranty and fixed the problem in a professional manner, highly recommended KCS!
We messaged KCA at 11pm at night not expecting to get a response until the next day. To our surprise we were scheduled that night for the first appointment the next day. Carlos P Did a fantastic job at accessing and figuring out our AC problem. He was very knowledgeable on our system and took the time necessary to fix the problem. I was very impressed with David! He knew what the problem was the minute he walked up to the unit, and it was nice to be able to have my air conditioner starting back up again within a relatively short amount of time. He had the parts on the truck, I didn't have to wait for parts to be ordered; that right there was a huge Plus. Like them so much, I am signing up for their service maintenance program.
My technician, Chavess Lee, was fantastic. Knowledgeable and professional. He found the problem quickly, fixed it quickly, and even set up the thermostat for better performance. Thank you.
No AC last night - blower did not function :-(. Called KCA and they sent a technician out today, SUNDAY !! AC seems to be working now. Appreciate KCA quick response.
Chad serviced our 2 air conditioners today and did an excellent job servicing and cleaning our systems. He ran complete diagnostics to verify everything was was working correctly. Very professional.

Would definitely recommend KCA services! We had Ray come out after our AC unit started leaking, he explained the problem and quickly fixed it. He even called the following day to make sure everything was working correctly and no other problems came up. Great customer service and they got the job done quickly!

Contacted Kendall County Air Services for complete AC change out at my residence. Salvador Corona and Michael Reyes completed the entire AC change out in one day. I would recommend KCA Services to anyone in need of a professional and reputable company as they explained the entire process and operation of new AC unit after a long hot hot day of work…thanks again Salvador and Michael.
