whoever drives the company truck is very unprofessional, he almost hit our car, and then got out of his truck and tried to threaten us. i would not feel comfortable letting someone as unhinged as him inside of my home to do repair work.
We recently moved to Amarillo an bought an older home with an ancient heating system and older a/c unit . In course of updating electrical services I became apparent that we needed to address repair to the HVAC system. We called several companies to give us advice on how to proceed and estimate of cost, Waylon Hardwick gave the mot through inspection of the property- and the needs, presented us with price points and different types of repairs and helped us make an informed decision to do a complete rebuild of the vent work and replacement with modern efficiency equipment. THE BEST PART was he was not the highest bid and it was name brand equipment. We would recommend him as an honest , trustworthy and reliable person for all your needs . The job was done quickly and well, cleaned up any mess they made and some of ours. Good People!!

After several weeks of no AC in Satan’s sandlot (Amarillo), Waylon replaced a defective Goodman HVAC system. He looked at the system and rightfully concluded it needed a replacement rather than a repair. The manufacturer warranty had already gone thru 3 compressors in a matter of months. Waylon and his crew were prompt, knowledgeable, and very professional. He has our trust and recommendation.

This company was called by a neighbor to check my outside A/C unit. He told me he would be over after lunch. At 5::40 pm I still hadn’t heard from him. I got a text from Mr. Hardwick wanting my address. I’m not sure if he forgot or just didn’t write it down. After he showed up around 8 pm he took five minutes to tell me he couldn’t fix it and it would need to be replaced. He told me he would check to see if there was a replacement available in the morning. At 12:30 pm he called with a 2500 est. I asked for a bid for a complete replacement and he said he would get back to me on Monday. At 3:10 pm on Monday I got a text for 15500. I told him I would get more bids. The other company responded that day with a 6000 bid. Mr Hardwick’s Service call was 85. In summary. When it’s 101 degrees out side and your air conditioner quits, don’t call him and expect him to show up when he says.
I highly recommend Hardwick Heating and Air because of his knowledge, sense of urgency and professionalism. My AC went out over the weekend and Waylon was at my house and able to give me a diagnosis and solution within 30 minutes! This gave me peace of mind and I know my AC is in good hands! All I can say is shop around and don’t be afraid to go with the hard working guy trying to make a namefor himself and his business. Wayland worked odd hours and went above and beyond to get my heating issue resolved. He was thorough. He was fair. And above all else he got things figured out and repaired as quickly as he could. Hardwick Heating and Air will be my first go to now when I have an issue!
