Had a guy come over to check our ac cause it wasn't working and he said to let the fans run since it's too frozen to work with. But he was only here like maybe 20 mins and we got charged for an hours work $250. He said he would come by the next day, but he had called me saying he couldn't make it due to the weather but he said for sure he was gonna come the next day. Never heard from him again
The people are pretty decent at their jobs but they forgot to provide us with CO monitors and didn't fix the location of the return air. We are lucky the city inspector didn't fail the installation. I had to go out and buy my own CO monitors. Pretty messed up since a CO problem was the entire cause for this installation to be needed. Also the secretary there is horrible about returning calls, delivering messages and informing the workers of job details provided to her by the customer. Edit: excuse me but you did do work for us and you should never talk to your customers that way. You messed up your job. Don’t take out your frustrations on me. Congratulations on losing two more stars to your review.
Trying to get a plumber to come out to a business is quite difficult in Amarillo. I called up at 5pm because all other locations are closed. When I asked if we could get a plumber out to snake a toilet I was given the response of “we don’t know who your company is so we are going to pass” in quite an aggressive way. So I guess this company doesn’t want to set up new business. Do not recommend.
Our business plumbing has backed up several times since the beginning of the year. A&R came out several times and didn't give up. Shiloh was awesome, he didn't give up until he figured out our complicated dilemma. Janie, in the office, is extremely personable and helpful! Thanks!
The Air conditioner went out over the weekend in the Dr's office that I work at. We called them on Monday, they were out right away. They had answers for us as to what was wrong in a timely manner. They showed up here first thing Tuesday morning and set up spot coolers, and got to work on the problem. The workers were very kind and did not interrupt the flow of the clinic. They stayed in constant communication with us on what was happening, and what they were doing to fix it. I have never seen a company with the amount of customer service that they gave. I highly recommend them to any one who needs HVAC repair.
Less than 1 stars my ac has been having problems from the start. The sales person that sold us a new unit was fired for screwing people my unit can't make it a year without breaking. So this place is a scam train is the worst ac in the world
I don't leave reviews hardly ever, but they will take care of you. Highly professional in an emergency situation and really wanted to take care. When he didn't have time to do the job due to scheduling conflicts he helped recommend someone he trusted. Absolutely 100% will be using them for plumbing and HVAC moving forward.
Very friendly and efficient! They got to our call and fixed our heating issue quick. Reasonably priced and the tech explained the issue and we haven't had a problem since. Thank you!
Shiloh took the time to listen to what I thought was, but used his years of experience to let me know what he thought it was. Shiloh was correct, and saved us money. Thank you for showing up on time. I called a few different companies in Amarillo and never even got a call back. Thank you A&R!
I called for a business Laurie who assisted me was super professional on taking all the information of the situation I was having stayed on top of the whole issue sent Shiloh out to diagnose the problem! Informed me every step of the way of what exactly the work that needed to get done. Very detailed and prompt with his work! Excellent service and now I know who I can depend on! You both were awesome and bet I will be using them again! Thanks for a job well done.

Very nice and friendly people but don't have what I needed. Helped me out to a place where I could get what I needed.
After the recent storm when all the plumbers in town are so busy, I called A & R to help me with a gas leak outside of my business, They sent Shiloh Robinson that very day. He responded to my need and had the leak repaired for less than his estimate. He and his staff also waited on the city to come at 7:30 at night so we could have heat before this snow storm. I could not have been taken care of any better. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs!
A&R Mechanical Services installed a new HVAC system in my home. They are skilled, professional, and really know what they are doing! I am very pleased with the quality of products and service provided!
I found a water leak in my tiled bathroom wall at 12:30 p.m., Friday afternoon. A&R sent out their great plumbers by 1:30. They had to cut out some of the tile to get to the leak. They did a fantastic job, and had my leak fixed by 3:00 p.m. I was so pleased they showed up so fast for my emergency wall leak and were so professional. I will always call A&R first from now on.

I only give three stars because the technician was very kind and felt bad for having to charge me so much for something simple. They got the job done by noon and I called at 8am. I don’t have great service out here so the call didn’t come through when he got here. Got a voicemail saying I would be charged the 189$ service fee if I didn’t answer the door. The guy was at my neighbors which people do that a lot out here...but almost 200$ for that? Feel that I was ripped off and would take my business elsewhere next time. The tech was great, the business is borderline a scam.

Had a massive job of two AC/Heater units replaced at once with insurance companies etc. They went above and beyond to take care of the details and and coordinate multiple inspections etc. we now have much more efficient units that are working great! Caleb and the crew were great to work with and got everything done on schedule. A great experience all the way around.
