Malcolm was awesome!
They installed a furnace and a ac unit. The furnace had problems staying running. After a phone call a guy came out and looked at it. Said he had to order a part. So while we waited with no heat. Needless to say never heard from them again. I would not recommend this company

If you are someone like me who doesn't know anything about AC units Legit is the company for you. Rod is extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything and give you multiple options to choose from, each thoroughly explained with risk and benefits of each. He is conscience of your needs and does not try and over sale a product or suggest unnecessary fixes. I will not ever use another company. I will be calling him anytime I have an issue with my units. Thanks Rod for being an honest man of integrity! Not many left in the business world!!
Will forever have my business, highly recommend if you need anything serviced with your heating and A/C. Rod helped me out at 10 pm at night got my A/C going again. This is truly an amazing company that cares about customer service.
We had issues with our AC not blowing cold air raising the temp in the house well above 80 degrees. After a 5 minute phone call Legit was able to walk us through fixing our issue and it immediately resolved the problem. Not only were they knowledgeable, but they answered immediately on a sunday. We definitely recommend Legit Heating and Air to anyone with HVAC needs.
I can’t say enough great things about this crew! They are extremely professional, knowledgeable, timely, amazing communication, friendly, all around great guys! They responded within 3hrs of our A/C going out to quickly diagnose the issue. They were able to get it working while they found a local unit to replace the badly rusted furnace we had in our home. They dropped off the new unit same day and installed it the next business day. I would recommend them for all of your HVAC needs and they were even able to recommend a plumber and went out of their way to assist during a freak water pipe rupture (not at all related to their work on the property). Give Legit a call and you won’t regret it!
The absolute worst experience ever! This man, Rod, came to my rental house and stayed 25 minutes "repairing" my HVAC unit. What he did was replace a $12 transformer and maybe move around some low voltage wire. He charged me $500 for this "service". Less than three hours later the unit was performing worse than ever, so I called Rod back. He declared that it was an "electrical issue" and left without doing anything else. I called out the electrician and corrected the "issue" that Rod said would fix my problem. Now, Rod refuses to return without being paid more money! Stay away from this scam artist. He charges you upfront and then runs when the "services" he provides fail. ***Update after contractor reply: First of all, let's definitely set the record straight. I am a licensed HVAC technician - not a contractor. That is why I had my wife call you in the first place. I was stumped on a diagnosis and wanted a second opinion. Big mistake calling you! After spending $500 total with you (easily verified by my Paypal receipts) I still had to spend more money with another company to have the system repaired correctly. You were there 25 minutes because we verified it with security camera footage of you onsite. I find it very telling of your true nature that you would accuse an 80 year old disabled lady of lying about how long you were on site. As for disrespecting you and your business, I find this hilarious. You called me with your "electrician" buddy in the background and then had him ambush me once you thought it appropriate. Of course I was angered that a third party was listening in on my conversation with you unannounced. This was very creepy and rude of you. If your friend had something relevant to say, you should have introduced him at the start of the call. Hopefully, people will take time to read your reviews, like I did, and make an informed decision about your true business model.
Amazing service with no issues coming to Hodges and Merkel. Absolutely brilliant and we have found all information provided to be truthful and consideration of budgets kept in mind. our AC die in the middle of the summer and we got a technician over that evening. He spent a lot of time checking out system and making recommendations of how to move forward. Called again when my parents AC stopped working completely. Someone was there within a few hours and had them up and running in no time. Prices are unbelievably reasonable and the fees for the service are even more reasonable. I don't believe we got any out of area additional charge either for Hodges or Merkel.

They fixed my A/C after being told I needed a new one. It has not been running for over 5 years but they got it up and running.
As we all know it’s been over 100 degrees than not lately. Our power went out for maybe 2 minutes and then when it came back on, our ac wasn’t working. I called Legit and they 1)answered on a Sunday 2) came and took care of the issue within an hour of us calling. Thank you so much!

The gentleman Rod who serviced my home was friendly, knowledgeable, offered options to solve the problem, and very helpful. I suggest anyone in the local area needing A/C service please contact this company and ask for Rod! I am very happy!

My Air Conditioner had turned off out of no where and i tried to figure it out on my own to no success. so i called and Rod told me everything i needed to know with extreme professionalism. he was knowledgeable on how my unit worked and the wiring past owners had did to make everything all weird. he informed me of how things worked and how not to end up shocking myself. best experience I have had with any repair/ maintenance service in Abilene, highly recommend.
He can after hours to check out the system, then returned the next night to put the new part in. He was kind and and considerate a pure lifesaver. I have cats and they were feeling the affects of the heat.i was surprised that he was able to come so quickly. Others company's said at least one to two days if that. Great company they are going to be my go to people from now on.
Was very professional, knowledgable , reasonable and prompt. Of course our air conditioner went out on a Friday during this 100+ heat but we were back in business within a few hours, instead of having to wait until Monday. Our new go to for all heating and cooling needs and would definately recommend.
AC quit working at 11 pm and by 1:15 they were there to fix it. I would highly recommend them. Awesome job

These guys are LEGIT! It is the only company we will call and rely on! They do great work, they really know what they are doing and don’t over charge. Always on time and always responsive when we need them! Hard working and will show up and get the job done. Excellent!
