I have tried several local heating and air companies and I am happy to say I don’t have to do that anymore. Dave runs his company very well. He’s honest, on time and explains what’s going on with your unit and does not try to tack on any extra costs. I would recommend paying for their service plan. It’s $180 for the peace of mind to have a genuinely great technician to call when needed. 100% recommend PrimeTime!
My HVAC was wired incorrectly by a previous HVAC contractor, damaged, stuck in defrost mode (costing me a lot of money, every month), and out of date. Dave spent multiple hours looking at wiring diagrams for my 2003 unit, rewiring the system, and installing parts. He was knowledgeable and immediately looked at documentation for references, rather than going on "experience", like most contractors. He also gave honest opinions about replacement vs. repair and told me that prices were high right now; suggesting I wait another year to replace. If you're looking for intelligent and personable HVAC repair/installation, I completely recommend this business.

Dave is the definition of “first class”! Responsive, considerate, patient and dedicated to his customers needs. I had a “user error“ issue with a Greer heat vac system, and Dave walked me through the operational repair necessary for my warmth. He and Primetime, or at the top of my list forever!

Primetime is my go-to call for all my HVAC issues. Dave is prompt with responding to calls, will text with tips, and is very respectful of your time and money. We have used Primetime for everything from simple checkups when the heat is getting too much for our system, to new unit installation. He stays busy with clients, but he never complains or makes you feel like you're wasting his time. He will explain your systems issues in a way that makes you feel like you actually understand what's going on.
After using PrimeTime, I won't even consider trying a different HVAC service provider in Metro Nashville. PrimeTime gave us a highly competitive quote for purchasing and installing a new traditional HVAC unit as well as installing a mini split to replace a window unit. They took the work seriously from beginning to end: they showed up on time (or early) each day they were on site, and we couldn't be happier with the end product. Dave and his team are just the best.
I cannot recommend this company enough! My heat went out due to error installing a nest thermostat. Not only was I not charged for them to come out to quote, I was told exactly what was wrong immediately. It was fixed and I was charge more than fairly for the part and labor! I forgot to mention that they were able to get to my home in 3 hours! I even got a follow up call the next day! This will be my go to company for any issues going forward! Highly recommend.
I have used Prime Time for 3 years now and we have been very pleased. Dave is straight forward and wont try up selling everything out there. Even came out on a holiday when our heat went out to help us. Great value with their maintenance packages as well.
I reached out to PrimeTime at 7am on a Friday morning, & they got someone out to me within a few hours. Turns out, I needed a new HVAC, and they got it installed first thing Monday! I can’t say enough good things about the service and the product I received. Highly recommend!!

I'm extremely sceptical when it comes to repair companies of any sort, especially home maintenance. Our AC suddenly went out and my go-to company was booked up. This was a BIG problem, especially having young children. I Googled hvac repair services in the Nashville area and took a gamble with PrimeTime Heat & Air... Dave was absolutely amazing! He was fast, honest, professional and now has acquired another customer for the long haul! He was very knowledgeable and had us up and running in less than 30 minutes. I would recommend his company to ANYONE.
