Mountain City Service

I've used them two times since moving to Signal Mountain. Once for gas lines and once for plumbing. Both times the work quality is mediocre but the prices are well above average. I will shop around the next time I need plumbing work!

Rarely (and I mean very RARELY) have I found a company that provides such speedy service, professional contractors (and are just plain nice people) as Mountain City Service provides. These guys are super and they are also quite competent and responsive. Prices aren't 'cheap', but they are quite reasonable for the work undertaken. They have my business moving forward.

I’m sure Mountian City Service is great with all the services listed above! We needed them for plumbing issues in a 20 year old house. They not only found and fixed our issues, they gave us a nice deal on the new parts we had to order. The whole team is great too-from the ladies in the office to the guys coming out to do the service. You won’t regret the call!

They fixed our plumbing system which needed more ventilation so that the toilet didn't constantly gurgle or back up when the washing machine ran.

I'm super happy with Mountain City Service. I've used them a few times across multiple homes. Friendly service, personable technicians and quality work.

They had no idea how my system worked, took them two days and $600 to tell me I needed a new thermostat.

Be warned that if your work is not an emergency or not state contract you will not get efficient service. Called on a Monday for repair work and was given a Wednesday appointment. No plumber arrived on Wednesday. Called Thursday morning and was told either late Thursday or sometime Friday. No definite time was given. If the scheduler was more transparent regarding that my work was low priority I would've selected another plumber and not lost a week of time waiting for repair.

Scope: Replacing plumbing supply lines and leaking sewer piping. Received pricing and a verbal schedule of this should only take a day or two in late July. Plumber seemed competent and knowledge able. The work that has been performed to date looks quality. BUT it has been well over a month since giving approval to move forward on the project and work is only completed when I have called and asked for a schedule of completion every week. Then a day or half day of work is performed. State work is taking priority over home owner work is what I am told every time I call.

Unit replacement. The management was straight forward and honest. No over sale just the information needed.

Mountain City Service was amazing! They showed up on time and very professional! They fixed our issue after being told by another plumber it couldn’t be fixed! Mountain City Service was extremely reasonable, went above and beyond, and will be my go to place going forward! On top of that, they are extremely honest and trustworthy which is not always easy to find! I would highly highly recommend them!
