Our third time using this company over the last 10 years. The other two times no issues. Unfortunately I felt like we were over charged during the last service call. Was advised during a phone call about the price for the part, that it would be a certain price for the part and a shipping cost. When we received our invoice we were charged an additional $65 for picking up of the part. When questioned, was advised that the shipping cost was for the shipment to a local warehouse and the $65 was for the technician's time for driving to pick up the part. In the age of multiple delieveries to a home or business why would you charge a customer an additional $65 to have the part picked up. Additionally, they had charged us for an extra hour of service that did not occur. This wasn't found until we called and complainted about technican time applied to the invoice. Fortunately they did remove the one hour of time that should have been on the invoice. Sadly after ten years of using Carroll Heating & Air I can't see us recommending or using their services again.

We woke up this morning to find that our heater was not working. I placed a service call via their website at approximately 8:45 and received a response before 9:00 a.m. . A repair crew showed up at our door by 9:15 and had diagnosed and corrected the problem by 9:30. This was without a doubt the fastest response we have ever had to a heating and air conditioning problem. This is the third time that we have used Carol heating and air conditioning in the 13 and a half years we have lived here in Powell and all three experiences have been good.

We just had an emergency repair performed by Carroll H&A which have been our go-to company for HVAC repairs for the last 15-years. And the services provided by Robbie and Cody to both find a new replacement compressor and to make the needed repairs in the same day went above and beyond our expectations. We are having family coming into town for a weeks visit, and if they had not performed as they did our relatives’ visit would have been significantly less comfortable. Thanks again guys, Marty Love

The air conditioning unit that they installed did not seem to be cooling correctly. We have used them for service over the 8-10 yr life of this unit. The technician came in put his hand over the register and said "this feels about right". Offered nothing else to see if there was a problem. The bill came for 97.00 which was RIDICULOUS! Had Hiller come out....they even carry thermometers to detect problems.. go figure..found several items wrong which was inhibiting the air flow.... Carroll's bill said they found my curtains over the register......are you kidding me???? Stay away if you want professionalism and knowledge.

The worst! After a yr they could not find the prob though the tech said there was a leak, they installed new unit ($2500). Problem continued till a second company said the line leaked and replaced it for $2000. Carroll hvac is pathetic!

This is a first class company. We have dealt with them for more than 20 years, on HVAC installation and then maintenance. They really give their customer excellent service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I will NEVER deal with this company ever again. They have cost us a lot of money. Our builder used this company for the HVAC unit. In the first year, we had them come out 3 times. This was all covered by our warranty. Now this summer (2 years) , we have had our air quit again. We contacted the builder, he told us to have Carrol out and let him know whats wrong. When they came out they said a coil needed replaced in the attic. The builder refused to pay it for us (which i dont blame him)...long story short our air has quit 2 times so we filed our home warrenty. 500.00 later they found a few leaks and one was major. They advised us dye was never put in the unit by carrol and it is their fault it is like this. They should have tried to find the leak and not guess what was wrong. This is horrible service and has cost is a lot of headache and money. If they would have done their job then we wouldnt have this issue. 2.5 year old house and had it go out 6 times. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

I normally don't do this, and those that know me know, I have a pretty high tolerance of ignorance at a distance, but this is basically in the bed with me, so here goes. If I could give anything LESS than a 1 star for the PISS POOR service we experienced today, I would! If there is anything I hate more, its being treated like a neanderthal who doesn't understand the concept of business and customer service...To be a General Manager, who when asked to give their name refuses and then hangs up in a customers face, causes me to wonder about the moral fabric AND leader of that company. And then to find out later, we are not the only ones to experience this "dungish" level of customer service causes me to wonder if the owner of the company is in fact on a permanent vacation and cares nothing about the future of his company. Well, this is where it all starts. Word of mouth. Word of mouth will tear a business down quicker than a wrecking ball, so I'll start the bid at: please don't shop with Carroll Heating & Air if you are in the East Tennessee area...unless you don't mind being screwed and talked to like a peasant.
