Cannon Brothers yearly maintenance performed. Brian and Kyle were professional and courteous.
Cannon was professional and a good value. Another company quoted me nearly $4,000 more to install new heat/air units. Techs were on time and installed correctly the FIRST time.
So you've tried the rest? Time to switch to the Best! For years I used the "other guys" in town. I'm so glad I switched over to Cannon Brothers, their experience, professionalism and courtesy is top notch. Brian and Kyle were fantastic and thorough. Highly Recommended!
Had transition sheet metal box made. It worked perfect. Good work. Workers were very helpful and courteous.
They had the best price of all the vendors I called. They were very responsive to all my questions and phone calls. They showed up when they said they would. I will definitely use them again.
Cannon Bros gave exceptional service when we used them recently! My dad's A/C went out, so he gave them a call. They came out quickly and made the necessary repairs with honest, personable service. I highly recommend Cannon Bros and will definitely be using them for myself and all my family's future HVAC needs!
I signed up for a preventative maintenance deal last year. They auto-renew your agreement without telling you and just keep scheduling you. I asked the tech if the most recent visit was part of my original agreement that I already paid for, and they said yes. Fast forward to this year, and I was charged $160.00 for the one visit the tech said I already paid for. I talked to Cannon Bros staff, and they lowered it to $130.00, which is still more than one visit on the agreement I signed up for last year. I think auto-renew agreements with no prior notification are sleazy.
In the heat of the summer we had some repair issues. One quick call to Cannon Brothers and the issue was solved in a timely manner!
BEST IN THE BUSINESS! 10/10 RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!
Company ad quote - 'Your comfort is our passion' This company needs to rethink that statement. Truly! I had recommendations to use this company for preventive maintenance and possible repairs, etc. They were happy to take my money ($320.00 +) for 1 yr preventive maintenance in the mid-May and come check/perform that service. 2 weeks after, my AC was out and the receptionist was less than helpful or professional when I called to request a tech to come check it. I was told it would be at least 3 days before someone could be sent. That repair was luckily made before the height of Memphis' hottest summer on record. Fast forward to July 4th...I called the contact number and left a message. The on call tech called about 2 hrs later and stated he would not be able to make it to my area that day, his schedule was full for the day. Totally understandable being a 3 day weekend. He stated he would let the office know I needed service the next day, Tuesday, 7/5. I contacted Cannon Brothers office on 7/5 and asked for status. The same receptionist from late May stated the earliest date to get someone out would be 7/11 or 7/12.....7 days after I submitted a service request. THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE! Desperate....I called another A/C company referred by a friend and that company made repairs the next morning, 7/6 by 10:00 a.m. Clearly, Cannon Brothers is short staffed and can't handle routine requests for a typical customer base, but they are happy to take your money for preventive maintenance. I can say the technician that came to my house in late May was very nice and professional. I didn't have any issues with him. The receptionist was extemely rude and felt it necessary to explain her difficult day, all the complaining she was having to listen to. Needless to say, I'll never call Cannon Brothers, Inc for service and I encourage anyone reading this review to do the same!
Came and did a great job and didn't try to sell me anything. I will use them the next time I need AC work.
Company tried to sell me an entire new system when i asked for the condenser fins to be combed and repaired. Service tech said it couldn't be done. Called another company out and they were able to repair the fins as the unit was working fine. Talked to the "manager" as sheso rudely was insistent to collect on a $110 service fee and although i explained that their tech wasn't willing to do what was requested. Pictures are before and after
If you want an AC service with competitive pricing and employees with integrity, go to Cannon Bros, especially if you need repair on an older AC unit. The repair man that they sent out did not try to sell me anything I did not need and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of what each repair would bring along with the costs associated. I had Brian come by my house and he did a great job repairing my AC system and got everything finished in an hour. If you need a recharge on R22 freon they are the guys to call. When they came to my house they only charged $50 per lb to fill my system. compair that to the $100 plus per lb everyone is charging. I highly recommend them for AC repair.
We are very pleased with the "top-notch" technicians who have worked on our heating/a.c. unit for the past several years. They are very professional and respond quickly-even though we reside an hour from their shop. Glad that we saw their TV commercial and gave them a phone call. Their company motto states, "Your comfort is our passion" and they truly live up to that.
I thought my spring inspection also included checking the AC components in the attic. The tech did not do that. I called the main number but the lady I spoke with did not offer any remedy or really any response at all.
Great service. They really helped us out on our crawlspace encapsulation. We have an older system and the remodel guys (not Cannon Bros) took out more ducting than was anticipated. Conner and guys were more than helpful in getting us back up and operational. They were very professional and kept us informed throughout the project. As a follow up our blower unit went out not long after the project was wrpped up. Cannon Bros. again came to our rescuse. Well done guys. Thank you!!!!
Ed from Cannon Bros AC & Heat knew exactly how to fix our issue. We turned on the AC for the first time and smelled gas from the vents, which was very alarming. Cannon Bros sent someone out same-day to check it out and within 5 minutes, Ed (who was friendly and professional) found the source of the issue and fixed it. Appreciate the team sending someone out quickly and resolving it!
Whatever you do do not hire this company. The tried to rip off my mother, pretended to give service, and would not answer phone calls. Completely worthless. She needs a refund.
I have used Cannon Brothers for several years and really liked the professionalism of Brian. Unfortunately, today I didn't get Brian. I did get a tech completely shrouded in cigarette smoke, and I got to see his entire bottom. The first thing he did when I showed him the HVAC units, was to break the cutoff switch on the wall, and then tell me "I can come out after working hours to fix that for $100." I declined, and I'm not sure he is a licensed electrician. This visit I was charged $110. " just for (him) knocking on my door" (that's what he told me) and another $110 for the 1 hour he was here. That time also included him walking around to look at my poultry as well as him using my bathroom (he offered to use a tree!) I was never charged before for "drive time". I called the office to ask about this seemingly, double charge, and was told "the service charge includes 1 hour of work, and the second charge was for his drive time from another job in Arlington". Arlington is 18 minutes (11 miles from my home off highway 14). After speaking with Melissa, she got a man on the phone who said "Jennifer, it is what it is. His time is valuable, and the truck costs money to run. Good bye."
I had a bad experience with Conway Services trying to capitalize on R22 no longer being manufactured. Cannon Bros was honest and fair. Brian the tech was excellent! It's nice to know some businesses still operate with honesty and integrity.
