We noticed at about 5pm on Thursday 12/22/22, as the ice storm was on its way, that our heating system was not working. McCarroll was the first to answer my call and were able to send a service tech out that evening. Tech was able to get me running that evening and needed repairs were promptly made the next week. (Follow up communication was made over the holiday weekend to make sure my unit was continuing to function.)

This is one sheisty company. They take advantage of their own employees, under pay them, expect extra work for free, then say they overpaid them and try to get money back. And they don't treat their customers any better. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My motor went out they came out took motor since two guy one did the work took less ten min. My motor has a warranty this company put it in.going to charge me 850 to replace motor .that took ten min.i am not going to pay 850 to put in for two men I check around they are charging me for motor went it a warranty on it which warranty expires next yrs.i call said we will pick up new motor.ill have someone else put in for bit cheaper.he hung up on me.

From what I gather this is not the place you want to do business with. Take your money elsewhere for professional and caring people as this company lacks both those qualities. Absolutely terrible. If I could leave no stars and a review I would.

Have used them several times to service my hvac. Always professional and on time. Had them come out for an issue with my compressor and while they were here they looked through my furnace and made sure everything looked good. They will always be my be my first call.

Not very good service My air went out Sunday around noon me and my wife tried to call at least 15-20 times nobody answered the phone finally got a hold of somebody Monday morning and they showed up at 10:30 Monday night we're not recommend McCarroll heating and air for nothing unless you don't want no air conditioner or heater

I have called this company 5 times to have them come out to fix my AC unit. They were the company that installed it and it is still under warranty. Every time I call the receptionist tells me they're going to send someone and they never do. This is one of the worst businesses I have ever dealt with. Not to mention their LLC is dissolved on the Tennessee Secretary of State website. I would doubt they're even bonded and insured. DO NOT USE THEM.

This company won’t get back to you so don’t bother. My original inquiry, they were very responsive and the owner came out to see what I needed done. He told me to call as soon as we were ready for the work to be done (I was in the middle of a major renovation) so I did that. I called back two or three times and I was told the note to get back in touch with me was still sitting on his desk. Still haven’t heard back. I totally understand being busy and maybe not being able to get to my job but a phone call to say that would be the courteous thing to do.

4pm on a Friday.... Worst time for your AC to go out! Called around looking for someone to come out and repair my Ac unit. Found McCarroll Heating and Air. No recording, I was explaining my need for a repair to a real person immediately. I was told I would see a repairman at the house in 15 mins. It is really hard to find someone/a company that answers their phone! I called about 8 different companies before I found McCarroll Heating and Air. .... 15 Mins later! yup, as promised, my door bell rang and there were two repair trucks in my driveway. I met David Farmer, and Justin Darby. I know a lot about AC as I have a heavy electrical background and my brother is a Heating and Air guy too (not in my state). But I really don't want to crawl around in an attic at 120 degrees. So I can tell you that these guys are on the level and not out to screw anyone. They didn't try to repair anything that didn't need it and told me exactly what the issue was. AC was back up 20 mins after they arrived. In my case, the power surge to start the motor blew the breaker because the dual section capacitor that helps kick start the motor was faulty and needed replacing. (very common reason for AC's not starting). Due to the trust I have with these guys, I bought their Preventative Maintenance Agreement. I DO recommend them. :)
