HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My A/C went out late Friday night and not many companies were wanting to help and look at my unit until after the weekend and holiday was over, but Barney’s heating and air responded ASAP, and was here first thing in the morning on Saturday! The technician gave me an exact time and was here on time, other companies gave me a big time frame/window 8am-6pm and that just didn’t work for us. This company is affordable and willing to work with you. Definitely will call them again!! Thank you!

Did a great job fixing the AC. Walked up holding the capacitor needed for the repair and got straight to work. I appreciate the efficiency, but it would have been nice if they'd told us what they were planning on doing and how much it'd cost before doing the work so we could decide if we could afford it or not. We would have willingly paid the price to have AC, but others might have to make a different choice.
Service was AMAZING!!! Especially on a weekend. Found the issue right away and had our A/C running again. I would highly recommend Barney's Heating and Air over anyone I've dealt with in clarksville. Price was great. We are enrolling in his service care for twice a year service for a great price!!!! Again I would recommend him over anyone!!!

Barney and his team was professional, on time, and worked with the other foreman (foundation repair) on site in order to get my foundation repaired correctly and removed, then reinstalled new ductwork after the foundation was repaired. Due to his efforts, I was able to have 2 projects done at the same time and for a fraction of the cost in a total of 2 days. Highly recommend.

This isn’t just a review, it’s a debt of personal gratitude. These guys came out and replaced the HVAC system in my rental house in absolutely no time flat. They were able to work with me in the kind of way humans should work with one other, when it really counts. I am extremely grateful for their help with this project, and they have 100% earned all of my future business - barre none

First time (in this house) getting our heat pump inspected. Technician was detailed in explaining what was both good & bad about our 12 year-old system. He explained that our system was still functional but also showed us a part that might fail in the future. He tested the part in our presence & gave us a fair price for replacement (which we did). We were comfortable enough with the service that we are likely to purchase a service/maintenance agreement this Fall.
Excellent service from an honest professional. No one likes having to get an AC replaced, but Barney’s makes it less painful. Extremely responsive (at any time you need him), he will be honest, fair, and provide you a range of options without the up-sale you’d get elsewhere. His work is top notch quality, this is the 3rd time we have used him for our rentals and will continue to do so in the future. Highly recommend for your AC/HVAC needs.
PLUMBERS, Too! I just bought a house and didn’t know the pipes were clogged, the tub had a slow flow, and that the faucets were offset. In addition to heating and cooling, Jake has plumbers on hand. He and his crew did a good job, were friendly, and easy to communicate with.
The communication, fast response, and customer service is what will bring me back. I will definitely call them again to schedule my yearly unit cleaning and any repairs that come up. Highly recommend! Thank you guys!

Deserves zero stars. Made an appointment for 4:00 to have them come give estimate to install additional unit to house. Get a call around lunch saying he may be a little late, which is understandable and I appreciated the heads up. Fast forward to 5:30 and no update on his arrival so I messaged him asking how much longer he would be. He responded saying he was stuck in traffic and he could be at the house on Monday if I had things to do (a.k.a. he wasn't going to make it and didn't bother to reach out and tell me that until I messaged him). We ended up rescheduling for the next day, a Saturday, at 8am. 8am was a time he gave me that worked for him, not a time requested by me. Fast forward to 8:30 the next morning and no sign or update from him so I messaged him again asking if he was still coming. He didn't message back until 10:00 claiming he was still coming and he lost his phone in a crawl space. Maybe the phone was lost but between the hours of 6pm on a Friday and 8am on a Saturday seem like odd hours to be in a crawl space (especially for an individual who fails to make it to appointments in the first place). I was already frustrated at this point because who enjoys being stood up by HVAC guys on a Friday evening and then again on a Saturday morning? So I asked him what time he could be there (again) and he responded with 12:15. He ended up being late again with no update or "I'm running late" message so I called him and he had another excuse so I told him we'd find someone else. The entire situation was a complete clown show. If you enjoy wasting your days away being stood up by an HVAC technician then these are your people. 3 appointments in less than 2 days, 3 excuses, and 0 sightings of the guy. I suggest finding another place to do your business.
A tree fell on my HVAC in December and it had to be replaced. They offered a lower bid and seemed nice. They also could come sooner than competitors. After they did the job I was told that they would come back when it got warm to ensure everything was going well and check the cooling on the unit. I reached out to them and asked if they could come. They said they would check the schedule and get back to me and I have not heard from them. I am now have to find another company that will at least follow through.
I don’t think any else would have come out any quicker or for a better price than these guys. Did a wonderful job and were straight forward and honest
Barney took really good care of my Mother. She is legally blind and he was so considerate of her condition. He was fast and efficient. Fantastic service. I would recommend him to anyone. Great job Barney!!!
