Faulty capacitor, fixed in 10 minutes. Other companies could not get to me until three or four days later. Had my air back after only 12 hours off. Mr. Cole did a great job and was quick and courteous.
Wonderful experience. I called in the morning, they were there by the afternoon, fixed by evening.

Since moving here in 2011, I've used several HVAC companies. Since 2016, I've made myself a repeat customer of General. Reasonable prices, quality work. Because I live in Millington, I'm lucky to get Cole as my service tech (he is awesome).
These guys are awesome! I have relied on General Heating & Cooling for over 15 years. Totally trust them with my heating & cooling and they have come through so many times. Several times I've had to call them after hours / weekends and they have never failed me. So truth worthy and very very reasonable in what they charge. There is no better company for these services!
Charged me $200 for a 10 minute visit, when their rate is $85 per half hour. Tried to tell me parts would cost $700 before labor, found all the parts needed on the Carrier website for under $300. When I mentioned this I was given a very condescending lecture on of course they have more than 50% markup, even though our prices were for new OEM products and their prices were for refurbished. We have been using them for 15 years with no problem. However, we'll be ordering the parts and making our own repairs after the rudeness we were shown by the people manning the phones. I don't know if there was a management change, or if this is simply one employee, but when I'm paying for a service I don't appreciate being spoken to like I'm a child.
