Where to begin? It's always bad news when you have to replace your unit...but, it was 17yrs old and limping. Oceanview made the whole experience a breeze, from Ashley pleasantly answering the phone @7pm to Brandon answering my questions @9pm. The install crew (Michael and Noah) were very professional, fast and clean. It was impressive to see 2 young gentlemen who take pride in their trade. Seems hard to come by these days. I'd recommend Oceanview to anyone. They even made sure we would be comfortable until they could get our equipment together for install, by providing us with 2 window units. Excellent service.
My a/c issue was found and repaired! Everyone was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable.
We had a rough start with this company, but it ended well. We were initially very dismayed to see very large gaps around where the new sheet metal “box” that comes off of the new HVAC unit and attaches to the outer wall of our house. These gaps were large enough for a fist to fit through, or a small cat, and most definitely a rat!!! We were told that the installation crew had run out of spray foam and they were sending someone back to fill in these gaping holes with spray foam. You can’t fix this big of a hole or problem with mere spray foam!!! The sheet metal needed to be flanged out more to completely cover the existing hole where the old unit was removed. It appears they didn’t bother to measure or account for the size needed to cover the old opening. The top of the new sheet metal box that connects the new unit to the outside of the house looks noticeably bent and warped and it’s not even; it tilts to one side. We were very frustrated and disappointed to say the least. However, the company was very responsive to our concerns and complaints and they did end up coming back out and completely replaced the entire “box” with a 2nd one that was so much better! It was unfortunate all around that our first experience with this company was so disappointing, but like I said, they were very willing to fix/replace their work properly and that says a lot about the company. Don’t know what to say other than excellent service from Mason and Trey at Oceanview Heating and Air Conditioning. They explained all that they did during their visit and made helpful suggestions. I hope they are the same team that comes back in 6 months.
Mason was definitely a true professional when came to knowledge and being polite. It was a joy to learn from him and I definitely appreciate the great work.
This company deserves 6 out of 5 stars to be honest. This is my second time using Oceanview now. We called them out last year when our A/C was having trouble keeping up with the summer heat. Brandon came out and explained the issue to me and got to work repairing it immediately. Everything was good to go after that for about a year. We had to call them back out for a similar issue this week. Brandon was able to come out the very next morning and diagnose the issue. He determined that it was stemming from an area close to the part that they repaired on their previous visit. Because of this he explained to me that it could’ve been possible that this new issue was tied to the previous one and they didn’t want to charge us to repair this issue on top of the last one we had. Part repair and 6.5 pounds of refrigerant later and everything is working great. If you have any HVAC issues large or small Oceanview is absolutely who you want on the job. They genuinely care about their customers and have some extremely knowledgeable technicians.
Brandon, Michael and Austin were very professional and accommodating to my needs. Even went beyond as to check things that didn’t need checking but they did because they want to make sure everything was running properly and smoothly. Thank you guys you are Awesome!!!🤩 Can’t forget Ashley, Michael and Noah for reaching out to me to making sure that my services were met and if I had any other concerns or questions. Thank you to all the team members that made this first experience very easy and understandable for me. You were all a great help to making sure I got the best deal and I had an exceptional experience. Continue to do the great and amazing things you all do. A definition of Truthful and Honest people that help customers make the right choices when it comes to these major purchases. ☺️Thank you!!

I was working under a tight schedule and Ashley was able to accommodate me. She was both professional and courteous. I felt comfortable talking with her about what service I was looking to receive. She was knowledgeable about the field and came across as sincere over the phone. Oceanview sent Noah and Mason to take a look at my system and I was impressed about how much they actually knew and how passionate they were about HVAC. I know enough about my system to know if they were trying to get over on me or upsell me on something I didn't actually need. I never felt that way during my interaction with them. They were young well mannered and very personable. When they finished the job I felt as if I'd found a dependable company that I could call on in the future and refer to my friends and family. If you ever need general maintenance or more complex projects I'd call these guys first.
Oceanview is the ONLY professional HVAC and water heater service I will use. I personally manage over 40 rental properties and they are the servicer on them all. They pick up the phone, speak intelligently and professionally, bring clarity and kindness, and act with the necessary sense of urgency that AC in the south demands. Ashley is the star of the show-answering the phone, scheduling, billing, and overall top notch customer service is her forte. I couldn't be more please. Look no farther, this is your new HVAC company.
I did not think that any company would be open on Memorial Day, but Ashley answered the phone, very energetic and eager to help. You can tell how dedicated Oceanview is to their customers. Highly recommended just from their customer service!!

We are so pleased with Oceanview! I want to thank Brandon, Austin, and Trey for their exceptional service! Brandon came out to service our AC and was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and honest. We were originally just going to repair our unit , but with his help we realized it was time to get a new AC. Brandon walked us through the whole process and took pictures of everything to explain what was what. The whole team was punctual for both appointments and very clean! Austin and Trey were our technicians and they were friendly , respectful, and even super sweet with my 3 year old who kept trying to see what they were doing. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and give Oceanside the highest recommendation possible for anyone in need of AC repair or installation.
I had a thirteen year old split system that has been slowly failing over the last few years. In the hopes I could save the system another couple of years I called and spoke with Ashley Boillard to set up some basic maintenance. She was extremely professional and eager to help. The company dispatched Brandon Cobb to my home a few days later. Brandon did a wonderful job. This gentleman was not only early, but stayed late to ensure he had done his job properly. I came home to a clean unit and a clean mini split. Brandon call me to tell me he did have news I knew was coming. My blower motor had completely gone out and the back of my coils were rusted and had an unhealthy level of corrosion built up on them. Brandon drafted up 4 estimates for me and called to go over them in detail. We talked back and forth about possible options until 9pm. We settled on going with a Goodman. I called Ashley to set everything up. Their crew was at my home the next day and had everything taken out and replaced in one day. The guys were polite with my wife and kids while I was at work. If they made a mess I sure couldn't find any evidence of it. All in all this breaks down to a few things. -Company is affordable and fair. -Staff is honest, knowledgeable, and fun. -Workmanship is top knotch. We are a very satisfied customer and will be recommending them to anyone who asks for as good company to use in the Charleston area. Thank you Oceanview.
Oceanview customer service was wonderful from Jose who called back quickly to Mason the technician who was able to come out same day. Very courteous and knowledgeable about HVAC. Definitely will use them again for maintenance.

I highly recommend signing up for Oceanview bi-annual maintenance program. Technicians were on time, knowledgeable, and professional.
Oceanview Heating and Air was so helpful. I called and was told there were not any appointments available for the next day but that they would try because nothing was working. By 7 that night I had an appointment for the next day and it was a Saturday. The appointment time was for 1 and Bobby called and was at our house by 1200! He had worked on our system before for the same problem and had notes from the last time! I will absolutely use them again.
