I was very grateful that Eddie was able to quickly identify the issue and was able to replace the defective part. The owner Charles impressed me so much that I switched to them doing my annual maintenance.

Had a unit installed during a real estate closing - nice new York unit. Heat worked fine but the A/C had something wrong. Called them up - great customer service, had the owner (Charlie) come over to take a look at it. He had it fixed and blowing cold air in half an hour, after I talked his ear off for about 15 lol. I STRONGLY recommend their services if you've got any issues with HVAC.

First of all let me say this, Cooling Carolina came highly recommended which my wife and I took as a good sign. I called and talked to the nice man who said they were extremely busy this week but he would call me the following week. He asked what I needed and I told him I needed my ac serviced as well as some duct work repaired that cats had messed up under the house where they had been living. The following week came and went and no call so I called him. The second time I talked to him, I had to remind him who I was and he said, "Oh yeah your the guy that had the cat problem under the house, Sorry but I cannot help you, one of my duct guys is out with bad knees and the other is allergic to cats or something." He essentially blew me off and wasted a week where I could have had this fixed already. It is very possible he does great work I however, cannot verify that since he never attempted to come. I will not say beware of him or anything, just that I did NOT have a good experience with him at all.

I look for 3 things when choosing someone to work on my home (especially when it comes to my A/C in these brutal Carolina summers). 1. Licensed, Insured and Transparent Business practices. 2. Honest and Fair quoting of prices with top shelf brands and warranty options. 3. Very Very Good at what they do when it comes to skill of their field. WOW! Thank goodness I found Cooling Carolina. I had made the mistake of calling some "big name" guys around town and was floored by the prices they were quoting and the "o well that is your only option" attitude. I just felt like I was a number and a dollar sign to them. When I was referred Cooling Carolina by a business partner (who is just as picky as me). My worries of any A/C problems have since blown away. (my attempt at humor) They created several honest options and informed us on all the choices we could make and saved us from making a big financial mistake. Everybody wants "Your Go-To Guy" when it comes to folks working on your house. When it comes to my HVAC. Cooling Carolina is that company for me.
Charlie does excellent residential and commercial work. Fantastic prices and excellent customer service keeps me coming back and referring friends/local business owners. My company currently had Charlie and Cooling Carolina, LLC provide a service contract quote for supplemental air units in our building. Not only did he come in way below competitors but he checks in to make sure everything is going good in between service calls. Best service in Columbia, SC period! Much better than the larger competitors in the surrounding area. Dont believe me- call them and then call Charlie with Cooling Carolina. Compare the quality of service you received as well as difference in quotes.
Cooling Carolina got my unit working the same day i called. It was refreshing to find someone that was willing to repair my unit and not trying to sell me a unit that i did not need. There were no hidden fees and they were upfront about the cost of repairs before they started. If you are looking for someone who will be honest and not a pushy sales person they are the people to call.
