B & D installed a new system in are house last spring 1 Was told I might get a rebate from the power company, Called B&D about the paper work No one replied to me. 2 Was told they would handle the paper work for the warranty have not heard anything. 3 Was told they would come back out to recheck the unit, “standard practice”. Never heard from them. Install I worked in heating and cooling for 10 years so I know a little about the process. 1 Freon was not recovered properly. 2 They used hot shot to clean the line set “ standard practice”. The young man at the end of the line set took a shot in the face. His buddy had to carrier him to the hose outside to was off his face. 3 They gain access to my roof through a pull down ladder. The you men would fly down the steps at a pace that took it’s toll on the ladder
They showed up when they said they would and did a quick fix for us over Christmas weekend. Very grateful for the folks that came to help us over holiday weekend. Didn't try to push a big upsell as is common with HVAC companies in my experience (fuse could be out and they try to scare you into re doing the whole system). Would recommend.
I have Home Server my AC went out. I have no issues with the Home Server. The Company B&D is horable one excuse after another . First they never called to make the appointment. I called them and was told they would be there that day. But no one showed up. So I called them and was given an excuse again, but was told someone would be here the next day. After 4 but again no one showed plus no phone calls at all again. I called them back and again more excuses. I just hung up. Call home serve and they got someone else. This is not a good way to do business.
True Professionals in every sense of the word. This is my second time using B&D and I could not be more satisfied. Brad of Brad & Dad is one of the absolute best guys out there in the industry, in my opinion. He and his crew are very professional, detail oriented, and pays close attention to detail. With me being retired military, this is something I picked up on right away. They do not cut corners! They also worked very quickly and efficiently as a team. They got the old unit out and the new unit in and working within a matter of about four hours! He came out last week for a system leak on the AC unit I had in my home. I informed him at that time that I had been thinking about changing out my current HVAC unit with the electric heating strips for a central Heating and Cooling unit. He gave me a price that I felt was reasonable and fair. I said, "Let's make it happen!" He also hooked me up with some freon to get me through until they came back out. Five days later, "BAM!" I now have a new Carrier HVAC central heating and cooling unit. I noticed the difference almost immediately after the install. It comes on and cool my place off very quickly and within minutes, when compared to my previous unit that seemed to take hours. As of right now, I couldn't be more happier! Thanks Brad for letting me ghost you most of the time you were here and the friendly conversations. I found out that you really can work and chew bubble gum at the same time! Lol ... No, really! I really do appreciate you and your guys for once again, coming out and providing me with outstanding service. I attached a few photos I snapped during the process!
Home Serve Home Warranty is a freaking joke. 5 days ago. I repeat 5 DAYS AGO we placed a service call for our furnace. No heat. Heat strips overheated and 🔥 burst out of if. Technician named Raymond from B & D Appliance in Berkeley County (SC) has given us one excuse after another for not showing up. 1st part needed and "I will be back with part later". Well excuse was "I can't find part in local area so I have to order". No further communication from home until I call him. "I forgot to call you. I need to special order part." Monday the part was ordered with over night delivery. Raymond assured us that he would have us heat on Tuesday. At 6 p.m. he assured us we would have HVAC tonight as he was on way out of Mt. Pleasant (about 45-60 minutes away). At 735 p.m. I called him again. Phone turned off. I call Home Serve and tell them. They can do NOTHING as B & D is closed for evening. They can not dispatch another company as this job is still active. Guess we 🙏 we don't get pneumonia. Rant over.

Very professional company with the best repair prices I was quoted. I would highly recommend B&D for any HVAC work. They showed up on time and completed the repair very quickly. I have recommended to other family members who were also very pleased with the services provided.
Incredibly efficient with the estimate and scheduling. Very transparent with pricing and explained the difference in the quality of his product versus others. Showed up promptly when planned for estimate and HVAC installation, and were incredibly polite and professional. Strongly recommend. They didn't send out subcontractors like the company my neighbor used. The gentleman who gave me the quote was actually the installer. All in all - this company was a joy to work with, gave me phenomenal prices, and service that I trusted. Cannot recommend enough.

Brad and his team our amazing. Brad came out and gave my wife and a quote on a new AC and Heating system with New Duct work. I told Brad what my wife wanted and he put together a quote that met her needs. Once we decided to go with B&D Heating and Air Brad and his team were scheduled to come out 4 days later. They had our system up and running in two days. He and his team were on time and very courteous while my wife was at home with them during the installation. Brad showed his commitment to getting the job done when his workers went to lunch and he stayed on to still work. I'm was very impressed that he didn't just had the job off to contractors to put our unit in. I would highly recommend B&D Heating and Air for all your AC and Heating needs.
We knew that our AC needed to be replaced when we bought our house. It worked at the moment and we did what we could to get by until it was time to replace the unit. In August our AC unit started leaking and our ceiling fell through. We called over 5 Heating and Air companies to come out and give us quotes. We went with Brad and his team. Brad came out and listened to everything that I wanted after getting all my quotes. I told him that everyone gave advice on what would make my new unit work for my home. I took all that and told Brad what I wanted. He put together a quote with everything in it. Once I received the quote and accepted it he was able to get his team out that week to get the work done. I'm so happy I went with B&D Heating and Air. Brad was very personable when he came out. He not only came out and looked over my home for the initial visit he was out both days while his team installed the unit and new duct work. He listened to what I wanted and didn't try to talk me out of it. When I asked for all new equipment he didn't try to talk me out of it. He said yes mam we can do that. He team was very professional and on time each day. They cleaned up all the old duct and equipment. After the installation Brad came back out and spoke to me to make sure I was happy with the work and how everything was going with the unit. I would highly recommend him and his team.

They showed up surprisingly quick for my service call. The technician was very knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. He fixed my issue and explained it to me in a way that I could understand. Pricing was reasonable. I will definitely use them again.

Our 20 year old AC unit stopped working so had companies come to give us quotes for replacement. Brian came, gave us a quote, looked at the unit and found that it needed a new capacitor. He replaced this. Wouldn't charge for a service call as he was already here. Just charged for the part. With the AC working we weren't rushed into buying a unit from whomever could install it first. B&D gave us the best price and they were here today to install the AC unit. Wonderful service. Neat, quick (2 1/2 hours), nice and knowledgeable. Can't praise them enough.

We had a very good experience with Bill. He was professional, polite and very knowledgable. He was able to save us $ for a 1st homeowner warranty check and installed our NEST for free.
Bill from B and D Heating and Air was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and prompt. How refreshing to have a company with customer service as a priority actually provide service. For service I will give Homeserve a 1 and B and D a 5.
