I called to make an appointment, and they showed up the next day. The tech was on time and very professional. More importantly, he was thorough and walked me through everything he did. The pricing was very fair and the follow up call the day after is about as professional as it gets. Definitely a good look for any hvac needs.
The best HVAC service experience for our Mt Pleasant residence! Exceptional communication from scheduling through follow up. Colton was our service tech. He was prompt, courteous, professional, CLEAN, and very thorough. At close out, he provided a 'play by play' summary of his actions and a detailed overview of the status of our systems. He provided recommendations for proactive maintenance and system upgrades that addressed home improvement objectives discussed when Colton checked in. In no way the typical 'chicken little' system assessment you expect from other Mt Pleasant HVAC service providers who obnoxiously push unnecessary repair addons and upsells. Great job at setting a high standard for integrity, technical competence, and quality!
Responsive and prompt - Steven repaired a broken AC on busy 4th of July weekend at Isle or Palms. He was personable and friendly - but most importantly, skilled! He repaired the issue and got us back in a cool house in no time. Very grateful to him and his team for a seamless experience.

I was very impressed with the customer service I received. From the office who set up the very earliest possible service to the technician (Colton)who came and did a wonderful job of getting the system back on. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone.
Kim was a professional. She was knowledgeable and checked out the entire system. We are as the last technician from another company did not do a complete check out of the system. Kim was a great technician.
Kim was prompt, quick with appointment and informed me of her findings. Plus she appreciated my dogs!
Collin was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about how to fix the problem. I was also very appreciative of his enthusiasm to answer all my many questions about our HVAC system. He was very open and personable in his communication.
Hey folks, Ryan did an awesome job today. 5 stars. Prior to Ryan, we had Colton and before that, Kim. I knew I had a great service provider when I received such professional, knowledgeable, and friendly service from so many service techs. Replaced a complete hvac system. I got several estimates & Carney & Sons gave me the most value for the price. Not the cheapest, but a very detailed & thorough job, including removing some hvac items from the attic the previous installers left behind. TJ did a post installation inspection & had the exterior work fine tuned & I'm super happy with the look. Also, they offered a 18 month interest free payment program. I'm so impressed that I just transferred my hvac maintenance for another home over to them. And, plan to use them to install mini splits in another.
Kim was extremely helpful and responsive. Very professional and helped get our second AC working properly after 3 days of being inoperable. I would definitely use this company again.
A misscommunication brought an unusually high estimate for replacing a circuit board. They contacted me and reduced the estimate and said that price was good for one year. That was a nice offer. The unit is working now so waiting to see how long it holds out.
They were good when we signed on. They miss appointments now and last tech who came out for service barely did anything. I even just caught their phone rep lying about calling and texting me to cover the appointment blunder. Lying to me is it! Time to move on to a different company.

UPDATE! JOB COMPLETED! The team was incredible! Tremendously kind, considerate and hard-working. The focus was obvious, and impressive! I have not experienced such incredible service and comprehensive skill and knowledge many other places, and I'm SO happy to be a Lifetime Carney Club Member! 💜 (May 9 - Mr. Steven (incredible guy) came back to double check the registers, and repair a loose piece in the wall causing a little sound. He removed, hand cleaned and sanitized every register, as well as cleaned up any residual dust that was around the vent opening. Another AMAZING encounter with Carney and Son!) (Original) After my daughter started struggling with a never-ending cough, we called Carney and Son to check out the HVAC system. After minutes, I felt that I had made the best decision of my life calling them! Chris was incredibly kind, patient, professional, and explained EVERYTHING I didn't understand in the most comprehensive and simple way. I felt 100% confident in everything he did, and his assessment was (aside from horribly disgusting after seeing the buildup of MOLD in my vents) accurate and concise, while providing me with the options available and totally reasonable on-site pricing. They set the appointment within a week and have kept in contact with me the entire duration.
