Rescue to the rescue! It was determined that we needed a new downstairs A/C unit and received a quote from another company that felt very high. I called Rescue for a 2nd opinion and they not only gave me a more reasonable, expected quote but walked me through the process of what was needed and what they’d be doing. They were extremely professional and timely and made sure I understood what they were doing. Highly recommend!!
Rescue Heating and Cooling is a fantastic company! Bobby and Brent were both kind and professional in their work. In addition, Bobby took time to show me the exact issue my unit was having and went above and beyond to make sure the problem was solved. They were knowledgeable, friendly, efficient, always on time, and focused on meeting my needs as a customer. I highly recommend them!!
During a holiday week, my AC went out. They were polite, caring, and offered to come out late after their current job they were on. My AC system was about 14 years old so I was kind of prepared for the inevitable news of needing a new system. The communication was better than any company I have ever used, the price was better than I expected, quality is great and came with a great warranty. It definitely felt like a more personable business transaction- I can't imagine doing business with any other HVAC company. Thanks to all of you for helping during such a stressful time!!
Cannot say enough good things about Rescue Heating and Cooling!! Brent and Bobby are top notch in customer service and professionalism. We contacted them to give us a second opinion on our a/c unit. We had previously used Cassell Brothers for all our a/c services, but were very unhappy with our most recent experience. We were already out $750 and told that we needed to replace the condenser coil on our unit which was going to be another $2500. Our unit is only 6 years old! Bobby came out and was able to diagnose our problem in no time which included a broken thp and a crack in one of the joints on the coil. Within an hour, he had the part ordered and said that he would be back in the morning to fix the issue. Both Brent and Bobby were here the following morning and had our unit up and fully charged within a couple hours. Bobby even came in and inspected our upstairs unit. We are now living comfortably again after going several days with no a/c in the middle of July. Thank you so much for your prompt and outstanding service! You now have a new customer for as long as we are in the Columbia area!!
So to be completely and absolutely 💯 honest! Rescue Heating & Cooling is the absolute beat company in Columbia! They came when no one else did and didn't charge $1000 of Dollars for coming out when we had no ac and it was over 80 degrees in the house. Brent and Bobby and Anjelica are the absolute best and will call them every single time as long as we live in the greater Columbia area.
Updated July 2022: Our Trane A/C unit stopped working last night and I texted Rescue Heating & Cooling this morning. Angie responded in less than 5 minutes to say Bobby could be at my home in about an hour. Bobby was here earlier than anticipated and immediately diagnosed the problem and had the unit repaired in less than 30 minutes. We decided to sign up for their maintenance program so we can stay on top of any small issues that may arise now that the unit is a few years old. I am 100% satisfied with this company and their staff. They set the bar HIGH for any other business that I have to deal with. The staff is responsive, knowledgeable, professional and courteous, and the product (Trane) is top of the line. I highly recommend Rescue H & C. Updated April 2019: We did call Rescue when we were ready to have our ancient unit replaced and were completely satisfied with the quotes Rescue provided, the installation process, and the extra work Brent did for us (adding a vent/replacing a fan). Brent has always been extremely responsive when we needed him, and will recommend his company every chance we get! We were referred to Rescue Heating & Cooling by a friend, and was very pleased with their service. Brent responded to my voicemail within 20 minutes, and came to our home almost immediately. He arrived early, figured out the problem quickly, and was on his way within 30 minutes. He was honest, knowledgeable, and reasonable with pricing. We will be calling him with any future HVAC issues.
Had some issues with my upstairs unit not cooling properly so I contacted Rescue Heating & Cooling for a service call. They responded and got to my home quickly and had the unit back in service that day. Bobby was very informative and went over everything he did and had checked with a program he had on his phone which showed the current unit status. I had set up a complete home service with them for both units and Bobby can back a few days later and did a complete servicing on both units. Rescue Heating & Cooling did a Great job for me and was very informative on any issues seen.
We were referred to this company by our realtor to perform an inspection on our property before purchase. They went over the system very thoroughly and gave us a reasonable estimate of work that needed to be done. Fast forward to the work day, after disassembling the original unit (which was installed improperly and was over 20 years old), they came to the conclusion that it would be in our better interest in the long run to replace the unit as a whole and quoted us another reasonable price. We decided to move forward with the replacement and felt so comfortable with the company and its workers that we left a key for them to come and go as they pleased since we do not live nearby. (They even went back after they had worked all day and finished our job to lock a door that had accidentally been left unlocked.) Bobby called us every step of the way and explained what was happening. Angelica has been a godsend in getting information back and forth between us and the guys and has made the whole process so much less stressful. They went above and beyond what we expected and its those extra things that make them great. I would absolutely recommend Brent, Bobby, Angelica and the whole team at Rescue Heating and Cooling, LLC.
Rescue came on Monday after I reported A/C was out on Sunday, they installed new unit Wednesday. They were prompt, did a great job and didn’t leave until they were sure everything was working properly. I recommend them to anyone who needs a heat and air company for their needs. Diane Brown

Dependable and trustworthy!
He was contracted to install a new entire hvac system ducts,unit,etc,etc + vapor barrier for under the house The vapor barrier was only 1/2 done and as of writing this the vent to the master bath is just a hole in the floor to the underside and he won't return my calls or make any attempt to fix it. I called and spoke to someone at 11:15. By 11:50, they were at my home to fix my thermostat. Super friendly, understanding, and quickly fixed it for only $95! Will definitely call them for all my future needs. Thanks again!
