David came out to inspect the unit, made his assessment and then quoted us a price and scheduled the install. I recommend Central Carolina Cooling 100%! Nick is awesome…super nice, down to earth and professional! It had been scorching hot here, and our upstairs unit died. The downstairs unit had already been struggling for a while, and we knew we were going to have to replace it very soon. I called and spoke to Nick, who said he could come check things out. I couldn't believe how quickly he came - they were busy because of the heat! He was great to work with throughout the whole experience! He worked with us trying to get the best units for the best price, without any hint of trying to upsell or push products/services that we didn’t need. Central Carolina Cooling completedly overhauled our HVAC and installed two new condensers and evaporator coils to replace two very old and inefficient units in our home, along with two new programmable thermostats. Along with additional duct and vent repairs and overall system maintenance, CCC came in under competitors' proposals, and completed the work in less time than quoted. They were able to explain the necessary work and costs in a way that we could both easily understand and feel comfortable with, and the team was very professional. Having worked with other HVAC companies over the years, Central Carolina Cooling now has our long term business!

He explained everything he was going to do, showed me what he did, and went ahead and told us something we should consider replacing with our next service. Honest, Transparent, On time, Incredibly knowledgeable, Genuine..... did I mention HONEST? My faith in the HVAC repair and maintenance service has been restored. Central Carolina Cooling came to my house on a Saturday to check out a gas unit that had been giving me trouble and wouldn't work. I'm a hands on kind of person, and he was nice enough to walk me through the process of diagnosing the issue. I'm not HVAC specialists - he could have told me I needed a new unit, or that the compressor or some expensive part would need replaced. But he didnt... because they know your HVAC unit inside and out, every connection, every bit of electrical connectivity, he was unbelievably thorough. I've met with different HVAC companies in prior years to address similar issues (they will remain nameless), and they were in an out in a few minutes, told me I needed to replace some incredibly expensive part, only for me to have the same issues the following year. Central Carolina Cooling was so thorough and so knowledgeable - by the time he was done he found a slightly clogged port that the gas was released through - bc it was clogged the unit interpreted that there was a backfire and it cycled off immediately. Not only did he find the problem, he showed me exactly where the problem was, why it was happening, and how he was going to fix it. No expensive part to buy, no new system to purchase, just a service charge - one incredibly honest and intelligent HVAC SPECIALISTS. He even went further to test the load on the machine, made some simple recommendations to replaced the capacitor this year if I wanted to do it (no charge - just a recommendation), and showed me why he suggested that based upon what that HVAC unit recommend (written on the unit) and the draw it was actually pulling. Don't waste your time with anyone else. These are genuinely good people who are there to fix your problems in an HONEST, TRANSPARENT, and ETHICAL fashion. First class service has made me a lifetime customer

We had an air purifier installed. The price was great and the service was outstanding. They gave us tips on how we could improve our efficiency as well as how the unit we had allowed for an additional filter that would keep the air cleaner. They don’t sell filters, so that was a total “I am here to help” moment. Highly recommend this company. We will be using them for all of our future needs and maintenance.
