Charged me 170 to come and give me a quote. Never even gave me a quote , let alone do any work. Strung me along for weeks, Called numerous times and was told would come back out, never showed. Called roto rooter the job was done in less than 12 hours after placing the call. What a rip off. EDIT: nice try with the phony follow up so everyone can see and think you reached out and fixed the issue, except you never did. How embarrassing for you. Original review remains.
Never mentioned they charge $225 just to visit. Not professional. Service fee of $225, just to visit, seriously.
*Please read the review in its entirety.* Monday, 2-20, I called looking for service to rebuild the plumbing under the kitchen sink, which was done in 2017 by a different company. It is leaking and destroyed part of the cabinet underneath. We made an appointment for Tuesday 2-21 between 7-8 am. Tuesday, 2-21, 8:30 am, no one has shown up. I call as it was icy out to see if they are running behind. Long story short, there was a hiccup in communication, and no one was assigned to my job. They immediately dispatch Dan, and he arrives in under 30 minutes. I agree to the service, and he has a 2.5 hour job done in around 90ish minutes. Dan was excellent and very knowledgeable, professional, and clean. I will not hold the hiccup in communication against Wagner as things happen, and they immediately rectified it. I would definitely recommend them. Everything was easy.
I contacted Wagner on New Year’s Eve and Glen followed up immediately. After some well-meaning DIY our toilet had sprung a leak that we had tried to fix multiple times but to no avail. Glen talked through the problem with me and tried to help me diagnose so I could solve it myself. He was empathetic, kind and respectful. When it was clear I wasn’t getting anywhere myself he snuck me in that day and came out to make the repairs necessary. Glen worked quickly and cleanly and walked me through the issue so I could manage future repairs myself. Glen saved our NYE party and has a fan club in my infant daughter. I strongly recommend this company for emergency repairs.
I just moved into a new apartment and had a problem with the heat. Glen, Braidon and team were there to save the day! They were out within an hour, fixed my issue and did a follow up a few days later. They let me know when they were coming, how long they would be, explained the issue, what they did to fix the issue and followed up to ensure everything was good. I highly recommend this company. Please avoid doing business with G.W.Wagner Plumbing. They are not in the business of treating their customers fairly. I reached out to them to get a job done and when they quoted me the cost I was floored. Their quote was much higher than most qualified companies in the area. While still willing to give them a shot I asked if they offer any discounts. Daniel White, my technician said the only discount available is the senior discount that I do not qualify for. When I ask why he said because you just don’t. He then hung up the phone on me and left me high and dry with a leaking pipe into my basement. As a senior and veteran in North Providence, I would never recommend this company or Daniel to anyone.
Glen was amazing! We strongly recommend this company. He talked us through a furnace emergency over the phone. He was so helpful and kind and temporarily fixed our issue at 9pm at night- enough to get us til morning. We will use him again!!! Thank you Glen!
I called around to all the plumbers in the area around 10pm in a panic because a pipe was leaking in my bathroom. Wagner not only answered, but walked me through how to temporarily fix the problem until the next morning. I asked if he could get here early before I leave for work and they showed up at 6:30am! He fixed the problem and walked me through what he did. Cannot recommend the company enough. Thank you Wagner plumbing!
Came and charged me $350 for a repair and misdiagnosis. Then, scheduled 2 appointments to fix the real issue and did not show up to any. Would not recommend.
Run don't walk from this company. We used Wagner for a pump installation and the gentleman that did the job was on time and did good work. The main issue we needed addressed was a back flow prevention device. They indicated they were addressing this issue and would handle the paper work with the city of East Providence who sent us a letter indicating this was time sensitive. They confirmed a scheduled time when they would visit our facility to address this issue. They didn't show, then called to schedule the following day. This back and forth went on for 2-3 weeks. Then they started telling me the owner or management would call to explain. This has now been over (4) weeks and we have lost all this time with the city of East Providence. Completely unprofessional and has left us in a bind. I would not recommend this company. Wagner after they failed to show for several scheduled appointments is when I reached out to them. Each time the gentleman I spoke with was nice and apologized for the situation and said the owner would get back to me. He was clearly in a difficult situation as it sounded like it was not the first time he had to make excuses for failed service. The owners response to my above complaint is totally false. In addition to terrible customer service, they can now count dishonesty as one of their drawbacks. Yes, run don't walk from this company because it is good exercise and good business.
Had a kitchen faucet install. Mitchell was very personable and did a great job. Very reasonable as well. Reason I called was because the owner actually responds to all reviews!! They get a 5 star from me!!! JD
Dan and Braydon were on time, professional, left the area clean and did a great job. This is not a cheap service, but I think it was well worth it. I'm very relieved to have a nice new working kitchen faucet.
We recently bought our house and after being surprised with a leak, Wagner Plumbing was so helpful and was able to send someone out quickly. Dan T. was awesome, he was friendly (and put up with our dog's barking well)! He found the problem quickly and patched it up, and even took the time to review solutions for other minor fixes we potentially wanted done. We'll definitely be continuing to use Wagner for any future issues!
Glen and the team at Wagner Plumbing do wonderful work and they have great customer service. They've helped me with plumbing, HVAC, and appliance installations all with great service and honest prices.
Wagner came out to do a repair that was messed up by someone else. They were able to come out promptly and fix the job in no time. Would definitely call them again in the future.
We had a slight problem with the work that was done, but Glen came back and fix it. I just called them for more work and I was put on hold for awhile and then was told they were too busy and that I should call other plumbers!???
Great experience from a quick response to my request for service to the completion of the work. Braden and Mitchell (apologize for any spelling errors on the names) were great to work with. Knowledgeable and professional service. Very happy with the work provided by these folks!
Absolutely a pleasure to work with these guys. They were on time, responded immediately, made sure to properly diagnose what was happening and made sure they were not providing me with any service I didn’t need. Within 12 hours of finding a major leak and drain blockage they came and fixed it. I’d recommend them to anybody!
When you run a local community center, and a toilet malfunctions, you immediately go into “Crisis Management” mode. Or so I thought… One call to Wagner, and before I knew it the plumbers were on site!! Exceptional responsiveness!! If you are running a business, and need to be serviced quickly and professionally I highly recommend this team!
