I’ve use this company in the past. I always call them when I need Freon replacement. They’re pretty reliable and good, however I had an emergency and I had no heating. I needed someone to come out on a Sunday. The only day available with the following day Monday. Now ordinarily this wouldn’t be an issue but tonight is going to be 25°. I can’t suffer. That is why I gave them three stars. They are a good company now but if you need someone to come out for an emergency you might not be able to rely on them.
I have had issues with contractors and sub-contracts in the past, especially recently with supply chain problems driving prices and availability issues through the roof. George and the team at Green HVAC was incredible. I had a few specific issues and requests. Appointments were easy to schedule. They showed up on time. They were polite and helpful. When I asked for a solution to a humidity problem and had my options explained to me, it was easy to schedule the major work. When the work was done, the instillation was very well thought out and cleanly executed. The level of expertise was visible in how cleanly things were done. Thank you so much for your help!
A technician from Green was able to come out and fix our leaking HVAC unit within 48 hours and only charged us the $89 diagnostic fee for the work. Very professional service and I plan on calling them again the next time I experience any issues or need maintenance done. Would definitely recommend.
My realtor recommended Green Heating Cooling and Electric to service my HVAC unit after the inspection showed I should get it checked out and cleaned. It was $89 for the inspection and $185 for the cleaning. I called the week before and they scheduled George to come out during a 2 hour window. They called to confirm the appointment the day before and called in the morning to give me a half hour heads up they were on their way. George was prompt, efficient, and friendly, he explained everything he was doing, how long it would take, asked permission for everything he did (going upstairs, to the basement, turning on the water, turning the air on) and he wore a mask and kept his distance (this is during the coronavirus pandemic). He was able to take credit card on the spot with a card reader (and no extra charge) and emailed me the invoice right away. Would recommend them for your heating and cooling needs!
Super responsive and professional. Fair pricing. Green installed my HVAC 4 years ago and i use them for routine maintenance/cleanings. They're awesome, always explain to me what they're doing and tell be about any specials they're running/ways to save money.
I went through something absurd. I made a reservation about Green Heating & Cooling Elec and air conditioning repair a week ago. And, they are supposed to come today, but they didn't keep their promises. Never trust this company. It is a very bad company.Also, the reason for not coming on the day was too embarrassing. The reason is that there is no knowledge of air conditioning.If so, if I had spoken a week ago, I would have contacted another company. It's a really bad company.
I recently had a bad experience with another HVAC company in the area that attempted to swindle me. I contacted Green heating for a second opinion, and they fixed my problem very easily and without any of the hassles that I put up with with the first company. I highly recommend Green heating for their no-nonsense, and extremely professional conduct and help.
I was able to make an appointment for next day service for a thermostat replacement and unit tune-up. The technicians were extremely helpful and professional. They even provided helpful maintenance tips.

Green helped me in the past with some heating issues the technicians were effective and polite. So, when a new issue came up, I made an appointment for a Friday morning between 8am and 10am. They called me at 9:45am to cancel my appointment, then told me that they couldn’t set up another one for over two weeks. In response to this, I was given a refund of my previous appointments. Professionally done!
Fantastic experience with these guys. Called me back immediately on a Saturday night when it was 100 degrees outside and walked us through the repair so we wouldn’t have to wait for an actual service call. Fixed our AC and were incredibly patient and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again.
Arrived on time, answered our questions, made suggestions and most importantly they were honest and didn’t try to “sell” us on something we didn’t need! We plan to use them for maintenance and a new system when needed! Thanks again guys!

My experience with Green Air Heating and Cooling was great! Their price was better than 2 other companies I received estimates from, they completed the work in 3 days instead of 4 like I requested, and the workers were polite and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone!
Great service. Always on time and call ahead of appointments to make sure someone is home. Would highly recommend. Had entire ac/heating system replaced by Green years ago and very happy.
I’ve used Green Heating, Cooling and Electric in the past a few times now. Each time I have an issue the hvac pros / techs at Green have been fantastic. They helped me when I had an emergency water heater replacement , they saved me money with my ac condensation system and so much more . I believe they are the most honest, affordable hvac experts in Philadelphia and I can’t thank them enough for all their help. I recommend them to all. Called and took my information and was told the service manager would call back in 15 minutes. 24 hours later still nothing. Called another outfit this morning and the gas leak is fixed and house warm again. Making this experience even more disappointing is that this occurred on the coldest day of the polar vortex in 2019.
Amazing service. Each time the tech was on time and very knowledgeable about he was doing. They were also very personable and professional and treated my home with care. I had questions about a few things and the response and customer service was amazing when I called the office. I will be using them each and every time for my hvac needs.
