Absolutely amazing experience! Had them come out to move around our hvac system while renovations went on. On time, explained what they were going to do, got it done in an expedited manner. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for help with their system
Cold 1 services quite literally saved my life. Our hot water heater burst on Friday morning. I had someone who was able to help on the fly, but unfortunately it was a bit more complicated than we had originally thought. I called Cold 1 and they were able to come out and tell me exactly what the issue was in as little as a 5 minute glance. After some troubleshooting, he was able to pin point exactly what he had to do to fix the problem. If I hadn’t called, there would have been a great amount of toxic fumes pumping into my house, ultimately causing a much more serious issue than we had from the beginning. They were able to completely reroute the pvc for us and did it in a quick turnaround time. Lessons were learned and I will always go to Cold 1 for any future issues. Thank you for much for your attention and professionalism with this issue!
Both Ted and Jim were professional, patiently explained everything about my system, made sure the area was clean when they left, and yes- I intend to use them for my HVAC services from now on. Thank you for your integrity and excellent service!
I'm glad they came out and provided the service. My daughter and I are super duper happy, the guys that came out, if I ever need servicing again I really hope they send the same two guys. Teddy and his co-worker were fantastic. They were at my home within 2 hours of initially contacting them with my heating issue. They quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, and explained everything to me throughout the process. They also made some safety recommendations, which I was unaware of and I appreciated that. They provided excellent service, were very friendly and professional, and I’m extremely satisfied. I highly recommend them!!

Cold One Services has installed our heat and central air in two homes. One in Philadelphia and wildwood. Never had a problem with any of their services. Responds quickly and is always professional and extremely honest!!!

Cold 1 Service is THE BEST when it comes to servicing your HVAC needs in the Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Bucks county areas. I want to share this quick story because it is worth it. The other night during the heat wave, my AC unit just stopped working and my house went from 68 degrees to 90 degrees. I was in a panic because NO HVAC COMPANY WAS AVAILABLE or seemed to care about me and my family. I have two children and two dogs that I was most concerned about. I was so nervous and almost rented a hotel to keep my family safe. Then I came across Cold 1 Services and the owner Ted answered and took immediate action. Not only did he give me advice on how to protect my unit from damage the night I called him, but rushed over the next day and fixed the issue with ease!!! The BEST part is that he told me he would be there after 12 pm the next day, but he actually came at 9:30 in the morning. I was blown away by his care for me and my family, his quickness, professionalism, and getting my AC unit back on within minutes. I was able to sleep comfortably within 24 hours and I am so grateful. Thank you Ted for all your hard work and dedication. I was nervous and scared that I was going to suffer in this heat wave. Thank you so much and I will refer you all the business in the world because I know you will deliver what you promise.
It’s been a year since we have cold 1 out- unfortunately they were assigned to us through our home warranty company. While it was in the middle of summer and covid I followed up religiously to see what was going on. After everything was repaired I got a bill from cold 1 for services they said were not covered by my warranty but when I asked for details of what I was paying I got no response; felt very deceitful as my warranty company said everything was covered. Here we are a year later and our AC needs 2lbs of Freon… a leak that was supposedly fixed. I would highly encourage you to get a different service provider if dealing with them through your home warranty.
Ted from Cold 1 Services went above and beyond when dealing with my home warranty company for a new AC compressor. The amount of extra time Ted spent on the phone with the warranty company (and myself) to ensure the correct parts were ordered and there were no delays in regards to the install were truly appreciated. While my warranty company let me down for over a month, Ted was a breath of fresh air. He made sure to advocate for the correct part and get the job done right. Thank you!
