My daughter had Mister Sewer install a trenchless pipe lining in her basement this week. Randy, Mitch, Lee and Eli were very knowledgeable and reliable. We had two other quotes from different companies but they were going to dig up her whole basement and replace the entire pipe which was very expensive. After Mister Sewer completed the sewer camera inspection they found their were only two areas where the terracotta pipe was broken so we were able to do the pipe lining. Also their price was more affordable for my daughter and less invasive and time consuming. We were kept informed of their progress from start to finish. I myself made the initial phone call to schedule a quote and the receptionist was very helpful and considerate.
We had Mr Sewer go to a home we are purchasing to do a camera line/dye test inspection. Instead, the guy wrote us a $5000 quote for something that did not need to be done, and told us the camera line/dye test could not be completed and still charged us the full inspection price for absolutely nothing. We had the municipality do the camera line and dye test with no problems. The municipality even let us know the original quote Mr Sewer provided to us was 100% not necessary and that the “issues” listed in the quote were not actually present. I recommend using another plumbing company if needing a camera line inspection done. We feel as though we were charged $250 for fraudulent service. Very disappointing.

My rental property located in Mt Lebanon and it needed a emergency replacement of lead pipe due to the pipe leaking. The crew of Chris Holden, Mark Austin and Brandon from Mr Sewer performed a wonderful job. They are excellent in communication on their schedule and procedures which is important since I lived 30 minutes away and the property is vacant. They are very professional and did a very good job in a timely manner. This is one of the greatest experiences I had with plumbers as a landlord. Great appreciations to these gentlemen!!!!
Top notch company starting with my initial phone calls with Tracy and Angela. They were very pleasant and immediately got to work on my behalf. They sent Brandon to evaluate our sewer pipes. He could not have been nicer explaining the issues while showing me the video. This took a couple hours taking the video, measurements and coming up with a game plan for repairs. He uploaded the video to his manager from his truck while at my house and they further developed the game plan along with the estimate in a matter of a few hours. Thankfully, I had Erie Homeowners Insurance with sewer problem coverage. Jake the Manager from Mister Sewer took it a step further acting as my advocate providing all the details, videos, estimate etc., to the Erie adjustor. It made things so much easier for me. My adjustor was not only familiar with the company but offered his own testimony to their quality. That was very reassuring as was the manner in which the employees spoke highly of their owner Jason. When they started the work, they sent Mike who was the lead plumber along with his assistants Lee and Ely. They texted when they were on their way and they did this daily. Mike was relaxed, professional, explained the plans for each day and answered all my questions. He was clearly a man of integrity and I was immediately at ease with this sizeable project which involved digging up and replacing all the sewer lines under my house. Lee and Ely followed Mike's lead working hard and acting professionally throughout their time here. During the project there were some other findings necessitating additional work and once again, Brandon and Jake put together some revisions and communicated them directly to my Erie adjustor for approval. Any homeowner who has the old terracotta sewer pipes knows what water, roots, separation of joints, breaks in the lines and sewer backs up can look like. Mark, Austin and Chris did a fabulous job replacing the galvanized water line from the street into my house. The were friendly and professional and were quick to answer any questions that I had. I would certainly recommend them and call them again for any future plumbing issues.
Hey Mister Sewer, I want to give a shout-out to an EXCELLENT CREW! Mike, Lee and Eli replaced our sewer system today. of course we were initially unsure of what to expect and had many questions. Words cannot describe the patience and comfort Mike demonstrated as he walked us through the process and kindly answered all the questions we presented. The three man crew started at 8:00 am and didn't stop until the old sewer system was replaced with the new system some 12 hours later (8:00 pm). Never have we seen such a hard working crew. My wife and I sincerely appreciate the fine example and professionalism this crew demonstrated. If any of our friends or neighbors were to inquire and ask if we could recommend a plumbing company, without hesitation Mister Sewer would be the one Thank you Mike, Lee and Eli for a JOB WELL DONE! The crew showed up on time every day. They told me and showed me what they were going to do. The supervisor Mike was very friendly and answered all my questions. They cleaned up well and asked me if I was satisfied before leaving. I am very Happy with the job.
We had Downspout repair work done. The workers were extremely professional. Had to have the yard dug up and it was done with minimal damage to the lawn.

This company is evil! They were sent to me by American Water Recourses (AWR) to water-jet my sewer pipe and do the video inspection of the line. They did water-jet the line, but their technician was not able to properly navigate the camera through the housetrap in the yard. Mr. Sewer assumed that my housetrap is broken, the repair is not covered by the insurance. They told me that they will need to destroy the retaining wall and the fence and damage my property to at least $15K to change the trap. I asked for the second opinion from another large reputable company and they had no problem to navigate the camera through the trap and discovered the break in a sewer line under the sidewalk, almost 2 feet away from the trap. they also told me that nothing is wrong with the trap. AWR sent me another plumber who also had no problem to navigate through the trap and found the break of the pipe on a sidewalk. Now, because of Mr. Sewer incompetence and inability to recognize mistakes, the insurance company is rejecting my claim and their second plumber's proposal citing Mr. Sewer and demanding that I spent thousands and fix the trap first. I’d like to repeat that the broken pipe is almost 2 feet away from the trap and has nothing to do with it. This individual individual is evil, his incompetent diagnostics ruined me financially and destroyed my life, from a homeowner and small business owner with positive outlook, I am on the verge of becoming homeless. Evil!
Michael and team replaced all of our interior underground plumbing. They were thorough, clean and professional. Michael is a wonderful guy that is very customer focused. Great overall experience!
We had an unknown source of leaking pipes in basement. Mr. Sewer came out and explored the possibilities to make sure they knew where the water was coming from. They were responsive, followed up, professional, clean up when they were done. We were very happy with their service! Highly recommend and will use again!
