I searched and based on the review, I choose Topline Heating and Air company to look at my AC after a power surge in my area that caused my AC unit to stop working On June 26. The technician came out and identified the problem as a thermostat. He was very nice and, explained everything. This was resolved the same day and the unit started working. However, a new issue was identified later when the compressor outside started making a loud noise and the unit has been off since. Once again, I contacted Topline and they came out on Friday June 30 and based on their analysis, I was provided an email and a call later that day on next steps to get parts and schedule a repair. the parts and worked required my approval. Not only I provided an approval via email, I also called the office and provided verbal approval. I understand that with the heatwave, they are very busy. I have called the 3 times today (July 5) to get an status and requested to talk to a service manager on what is happening with my parts and when I can schedule the work. Not once did I get a call back. The process was never clear and finally got an email around 2 p.m. for an email approval which has been the only form of communication back from their office. Now with my approval 5 days later (July 5) , I now have to wait another 3 to 5 days to get someone scheduled to install the parts. It is too late to go to another as I have to get someone come to analyze again and go through the process of the waiting. I have my 85 year old mother in the house and my big dog. If I knew this was going to take such a long time and would have been communicate as such, I would have made arrangement to take them somewhere else until this is resolved. So, it is end of the day on July 5 and no one (service manager) has contacted me yet. I still have no idea as what is happening to the parts and when I can schedule an appointment for install yet. I guess this will go on until next week. Hope the weather cools down
The most amazing team of guys came out to our home to install a mini split ac system. Not only are they experts at what they do and highly professional in every way, they went way over and above to make sure we were happy with our installation! I rarely write reviews, but I had such a disappointing experience with Topline that I felt compelled to share my story for the sake of other customers. Initially, Topline came to my rental property, a duplex where I reside below, to provide an estimate. Their salesman recommended a 48k BTU Tosot Mini-Split Condenser with 5 heads for five rooms, and after conducting my own research, I agreed. However, upon reviewing the contract, I discovered that it stated a 42k condenser instead of the agreed-upon 48k. The salesman assured me it was a mistake and that I would receive the correct unit. On the day of installation, the contractors informed me that they would be installing all 12k heads instead of the agreed-upon combination of 12k and 9k heads. This change was not communicated to me beforehand, and I was frustrated. Despite concerns about using larger units in smaller rooms, I decided to proceed based on my research. However, when I inspected the outside condenser, I realized they were installing a 42k unit instead of the promised 48k unit. The salesman was unreachable, and the management informed me that a 48k condenser from the Tosot brand didn't even exist. Thankfully, I was present during the installation, otherwise, I would have received equipment I hadn't agreed upon. This made me realize how many people might unknowingly accept units that differ from their agreements if they don't conduct their own research. Warning for others to be cautious!! This discovery led to a wasted day as I spent hours on the phone with management, trying to find a solution. They offered two other brands that met the required specifications, but I had to verify the SEER and temperature limit spec sheets myself since the management didn't have accurate knowledge of their own products. It made me question their expertise and raised buyer's remorse. I requested some form of discount or resolution for my frustration and lost workday, but they offered nothing. Crew Came Today, Exceptional great work. Very clean install. I had a new furnace put in along with adding centeral air and an extra supply to my attic. They did a great Job !!!!!
The instal team with Andy, were awesome they are very knowledgeable with the product and took the time to answer my questions. They were very neat and clean. Also Veniamin came out to fix the molding that had to be removed for instal of the air handler unit. I cannot say enough about this man. He is very kind and has a wonderful personality, he did a great job with the molding and he also cleaned up afterward. Topline should be proud to have workers like this I will definitely be referring you folks to anyone I know in need of HVAC work! Also the price was very reasonable and quick instal.
1st trip they didn't turn the furnace back in when they were done(it's Dec). They were back 3 more times to clean the furnace & the oil spill they left behind. After their last time here, we find heating oil spewing out if out fuel tank(in our garage, under 2 bedrooms). When I called emergently, the secretary was basically saying we'll try to get a guy out there!! I told her 3 times they need to get here now! She kept asking if it was can emergency!! YES, YES, YES!! Never again!
The best experience ever you could imagine with the HVAC companies. You will receive emails and text constantly before , during and after the job and they keep you posted about every steps. Very responsive to emails and calls. They quote me a price that other companies couldn’t do even close to it. Please give them a chance and ask to work to Jonathan , Vernon and Jerry. Good luck guys.
Extremely unprofessional company. We had a standing appointment with them for weeks to come to our house on a specified date. In fact, we changed our daughter's pediatrician appointment and modified our travel plans to accommodate their availability. A day before the appointment they called to say there was an issue and that they would not be able to come, so my husband had a conversation letting them know that it would be tough for us to accommodate a future date due to us being out of town. We were reassured that they would keep the appointment because they now understood our limitations. Day of the appointment - the morning of - they called and cancelled the appointment and really weren't apologetic about it at all. That's really not the way to run a professional business. Zero stars for professionalism and customer service.
Topline is the only company that answered my call out 5 companies, I contacted. Jaylan Neff my tech showed up a few hours after the appointment was scheduled, Jaylan was pleasant and professional, from the moment I opened my door, Jaylan got my 40+ year old heater and hot water tank working again! Wanted to replace an old furnace and ac. Aaron showed to give me to me the cost of the replacement. He was professional and listed all the details on how it works. I think Topline is a great company and pleasant to work with and they care about customers. But I ended up using other company for the replacement because of the budget. It cost 3k less, of course with a different brand. Maybe topline’s brand is better and has better wanrrenty.
As an ex employee, I do not recommend this place to anyone. They use cheap equipment where someone has to come and service it right after they install it. I seen this firsthand. The equipment they use is equipment that you’ve never heard of before and I’ve been in this field for 10 years never heard of those equipment that they use. That’s why they get so many callbacks.
A great experience from. Beginning to end! Brand new system in my home and couldn’t be any happier. Our project manager Alex was a great help. He came out, took measurements and gave his us his professional opinion. He explained the process and equipment in detail. By the time he left we felt 100% confident in the system we purchased. I had a high efficiency condensing boiler installed and I'm very happy with the install. I had a fault code come up where I had no hot water and scheduled a service call. I called the company on a Thursday and scheduled for a Friday night. The company called me late Friday night to let me know they couldn't make it. We rescheduled for Monday between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. and they still couldn't make it by 7:30 p.m. I wake up at 4:00 a.m. everyday and have to go to work very early. This did not fit my schedule at all and I just want my boiler fixed.
If I could give no stars I would! Would not recommend. After replacing my 30 year old furnace I was given a non efficient unit that has cost me WAY more in propane than my old unit. It sounds like jet engine when running. To the point conversations can not be had.There was no shutoff valve installed with the unit and a huge hole was cut out of my flooring and remains there to this day. After extensive talks with Jerry (maintenance manager) Sam (co-owner) Lyle ( co-owner) I have been ghosted and remain with ahold in my floor. There is much more to my story than I can post here but if you are reading this, yes I also read these 5 star reviews and was so a dream but given a nightmare. I will be contacting the BBB as I have been made aware that I am not the only one. Update:6/21/2022- How about you call me back Topline. I have been ghosted by both you and your lawyer. Working on getting my floor fixed and I will be sending a bill. Do right by your clients!
Our heating and AC system broke and these guys came out and replaced it Andy and Justin were the ones who installed the new unit, I only interacted with Andy, and they were very professional and nice and explained how to use the thermostat when everything was done and answered a couple of questions that I had. Definitely recommend!
Andy and Justin were very informative and friendly, certified techs. They were there when they said and did a very Professional installation of new 3.5 ton AC and propane heater. All of our old system was removed without a trace. There were a few others that helped get the job done in less than a day, Thanks Topline!
We contacted Topline mid 2021 to schedule a quote in install a HVAC system in our 1200 sqft, one story home. I will say that their communication was wonderful, as they scheduled a time right away and kept to that appointment. However, the quote far exceeded the other four we received by more than $7,000. I felt very pushed during the time the rep was viewing my home, as it was more of a sales pitch centered around showing me photos of horrible work compared to theirs and a 10 minute long spiel on their 5-star review base. Ultimately, the company baited us in with ads that were entirely too good to be true, then miraculously did not have those discounts available any longer when we were quoted. We declined the quote. Fast forward to January 2022 - I began to receive automated texts from the company. Averaging 1-2 a week. I've asked several times for those to stop as again, their prices remain far beyond the average. I found that the representative I spoke to today went from a cheerful voice and demeanor when answering the phone to flat and rude when she was told why I was calling. As if because I was not going to be a customer meant she did not have to treat as well as someone who would be. Pros: Super responsive at first, sales man was very friendly Cons: Too expensive, relies on false marketing to get in the door, continued marketing after being told to stop

I used Topline for my new gas furnace and AC system. I scheduled a routine cleaning of my old furnace before the winter started and they were quickly able to schedule me an appointment while the others couldn't for a month or so. Andrew came out on time and diagnosed my system and walked me through the issues and things they found through detailed pictures and thorough explanations. He was extremely knowledgeable and kind. At that point and my understanding of how old my system was, I realized I needed a new system. Andrew was able to get Logan, the price analyst, to come out and quote me that night for a new heater. Logan was also very nice and it felt more like a personal conversation than a business transaction. He laid out several different options and answered any question I had. I liked what I heard from the estimate and the best thing about it was they had an opening for installation the very next day. I couldn't believe it. The installation team came out the very next morning on time and worked for 10 plus hours to get the job done in one day. They even worked through lunch. The crew was headed by Sebastian and he was accompanied by Justin John and Beco. They were extremely knowledgeable and courteous to me who was working from home at the the time they were working. They made sure to be careful when they working and never made a mess. They got the new system installed and it worked great. Because of the gas being shut off for a while, the pilot light on my water heater went out and I was without hot water when they left. I called their office and they sent Andrew out immediately to reignite it and get it going. Outstanding service. A couple days later, the system was making a noise and not starting like it did so once again, they sent Andrew out at night to come and diagnose the new system. Turned out it was just a pipe in the attic that needed to be aligned. He got it done quickly and its been working great ever since. I highly recommend Topline for servic
I scheduled an appointment to get my oil heater serviced and tuned up with this company. Scheduled it 2+ weeks out. An hour into their estimated show up time, they call and say they had an emergency that came in and had to reschedule for 3 days later. No biggie, I get it. The day before the rescheduled appointment, I get a call from the service manager stating they are too busy with “no heat” calls to keep their appointment with me. I declined to reschedule. I originally scheduled this service with a promotional charge of 297.00. Usually the service and tune up is quite a bit more. I believe this company cancelled so I would decline to reschedule because of the low promotional cost and the fact that I wasn’t located as close as they would have hoped. I also received an estimate for a mini split system from this company for my pole barn and my home. The estimate they gave me was for $27,000.00. I have had 5 other estimates come in. Which I requested the same equipment to be quoted. And none of which exceeded $18,000.00 from 5 other companies. Pricing out the equipment through suppliers has led me to find out that this company had roughly 15k in labor costs. Totally outrageous.
