I highly recommend them. The quality of their work is excellent. The installation was timely and very professional. They cleaned up the previous installation by replacing old gas lines and electrical parts. I couldn’t be happier with every aspect of the work they did and how they did the work.
Cannot say enough positive things about this group. I noticed that my water heater was starting to deposit iron around the bathtub. After flushing it numerous times and seeing the install date was 2006, I gave Romea and Son a call about replacing the water heater and going tankless. Rich Romea provided a competitive quote after coming out to estimate. After choosing them, Rich and PJ were at the house within a few days to install. Rich and PJ arrived at 8:10 and literally worked the entirety of the day to do a brand new tankless install within a single day. They cleaned up everything afterwards and even Swiffered the floor. Best group I’ve worked with by far. I’ll be contacting them for a split system HVAC install in a new addition to our house next year. Excellent work guys!
Have used Romea's services on multiple occasions to repair my furnace and they do great work. On time, good communication and fair prices. I wouldn't use anybody else
Had a cold weather emergency. They answered during the holidays and were able to come out quickly. After a few minutes of work the furnace issue was solved and their minimum fee was less than a few other places I had called that served the north hills. Rich was professional and straightforward. Would hire them again in a heartbeat
I couldn't be happier with our decision to use Romea to install our replacement furnace. Rick came right away to give us a quote, and Rich and Porky did a remarkable neat, professional and clean job. Rich went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and informed, he refuses to cut corners and his work shows. They came when they said, did what they promised, charged what they quoted with no added costs. In the more than 35 years we've been in this house, I think the Romea crew is the most professional contractors we've ever had. As a homeowner, you're never more vulnerable than when your HVAC unit goes out - you're freezing- and you need help NOW. It's at this moment that you need someone who not only knows what they're doing, but is not going to take advantage of you in this vulnerable moment. Romea has always been there for me with quality service at a fair price. I wouldn't even think about calling anyone else.

Amazing service, quick bid, saved hundreds to a thousand dollars compared to other bids. Efficient TempStar condenser seems quieter than my neighbors and provides amazing cooling. Really clean workmanship. Could not be happier. Even submitted extended warranty registration on my behalf. Great guys who really deliver. Highly recommend
I can't say enough about what a great experience I had with Romea's Heating and AC! They quickly scheduled an appointment, gave me a detailed quote and used no pressure or cheesy sales gimmicks to try and close me. I chose to go with them for a new furnace and central AC unit. They were able to have me scheduled in a week. Showed up when they said they would, explained everything to me in detail and did even more than they said they would. The service, price and equipment were all more than we could have hoped for. I can't say enough about how great Rick, Rich, Porky and the team were. If you have any HVAC needs and you need to be calling Romea's!!
Look no further, Romea is the best in Pittsburgh and surrounding area! Rich installed a heating and cooling system in our home when we completed a home remodel in 2013. In 2022 we added an addition and had Rich come back to add a second system for the new living space. Their attention to detail, professionalism, quality, and kindness makes all the difference. You won't get a better installation or responsible service team anywhere.
Called back within a few hours during the evening and walked through our problem on the phone. Even though we didn't end up needing his services this time around will definitely be using Rick in the future. Highly recommend.
These guys are the best. Great prices, friendly, efficient, and effective. Will definitely be using them again for any HVAC work and would recommend the same to anyone else. I've dealt with the bigger HVAC companies in the area and these guys beat them out in every way.

My furnace died, Saturday, the day after Christmas. It was 15 degrees. You would think these guys would take a long weekend and relax. Nope. I called and they were here in 45 minutes repaired my furnace and got everything up and running. Great work at reasonable prices. They have become my "go to" heating and air guys. Highly recommend them and would use them again without doubt.

I recently had Romea & Son replace an aging boiler in my home and I couldn't be happier with their work. Rich and his team were punctual, professional and extremely efficient. Replacing a boiler is not a quick process; Rich made sure to provide me with frequent updates on the work and was happy to answer any of my questions. I can tell Rich is passionate about his work and I would highly recommend him for any HVAC projects. I will not hesitate to use their services in the future.
A friend of mine referred me to Romea & Son when my furnace died three days before Thanksgiving. Based on that referral and the reviews online, I called them.....and so glad that I did! Rich showed up quickly that day to take a look and confirmed that I needed to replace my furnace. I was expecting that would be the case since it was about 30 years old. He was able to schedule my installation for the day before Thanksgiving, and even loaned us a few space heaters to keep my family warm until the new furnace was installed. These guys are passionate about their work and take pride in the quality they serve to their customers. I absolutely recommend Romea & Son!
These guys are honest, reliable, and are not trying to take all of your money! They installed a furnace and AC in my home and even though the furnace has given us some issues, Rich has always picked up the phone for me and care to my house as many times it took to fix the issue. I highly recommend this business!
