Our AC stopped working at our house. O'Brien promptly responded, and sent a technician out the same day. The AC started working then stopped again an hour after they left. They were very responsive to my voicemail and sent another technician back the next day. They found the issue was something simple that didn't require a repair. I really appreciated their promptness, responsiveness and communication, especially when I asked for clarification about an issue with the bill. They were quick to examine the issue, admit their mistake and correct the bill. Will be calling them again for issues.

Technician Ed was very professional. He gave good instructions on using the new thermostat.
System review no real problems, recommendations a little out of my range during this recession.
Had a HVAC problem. Called in the morning and solved problem in the afternoon. What else could you ask for.

* Edited * see below * They did a horrible job installing my mini split unit. They are now trying to charge me for a refrigerant refill because they failed to install the pipes correctly and it all leaked out the first time. I’m paying for their complete service plan but I guess it doesn’t cover shoddy workmanship. Edit: I was contacted by the company the next day and Ryan was helpful, and reassured me that the person who was asking for payments missed that the repairs done including the refrigerant refill was covered and necessary to fix an installation flaw. I am updating the review from 1 star to 4 stars. I am happy with the follow up call I got.
My initial meeting and reaction is that this is a company who I would like to do business with based on their early arrival, professionalism, knowledge and assessment of my HVAC system.
They replaced my water heater, quoted me a price for a 50G tank (same as I had before), I ok’d the price, sent them half the payment as a deposit and they came out the next day. They arrived with a much physically larger tank (same capacity as the old one), I told them they te not going to fit and they should go get a smaller one (I am good with a 40G) but they proceeded to spend 4 hours trying to get it to fit. They then told me it won’t fit and I need to have a tankless one installed (the price went from $2200 to $5500), since they had my deposit I felt stuck so I had no choice. They came out 3 days later and installed the tankless one. The unit retails for $1350 so I was charged $4150 for installation (2 guys- about 4 hours) which doesn’t seem right at all. I asked why they can’t just get a smaller tank and I was told there isn’t any (I checked and this was not true - a 40G is 10” shorter and would have fit) Won’t be using O Briens again as I feel I got ripped off.
Ryan was here today. He knew what to do and was so polite and courteous. He accomplished his tasks with ease and was complete in great time. He answered my questions and made recommendations. An excellent employee for O'Brien co.
He did a wonderful job. Also he explained some things to me and also gave me new safety items for my system. I also needed a blue UV light for my airconditioner. He was very thorough.

The O’Brien technician, Steffan, was prompt, thorough and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time reviewing the status of our AC unit and it was clear we could trust his recommendations. He also took the time to answer all my questions. Exceptional service !
Service was easy to schedule. John, my service technician, was prompt, friendly and communicative. He was very thorough in his explanations. He did all scheduled work and advised me what items I could order to optimize performance.
