This was a great experience. With coming record temperatures we needed our cooling problem resolved. Paul found the problem quickly, had the part we needed, suggested the maintenance plan to save us some money and installed and tested. I am very pleased with Wolfers and would recommend them.

Their technician came out to do a $99 diagnostics to fix something in my heat pump causing a 24V fuse to blow. He told me my compressor was bad, quoting $9K to replace it. During diagnostics, he forced me to buy a capacitor for $330, non-refundable, to "enable" troubleshooting it incorrectly, a capacitor that should've only been in the $50 range. They also quoted a new heat pump for close to $20K. I ended up replacing a 24V module in the heat pump myself, purchased online for $40, which fixed it. Very shady, greedy business practices with incompetent technicians. Do not trust Wolfer's!!!

Wolfer's did our Lennox furnace and AC install in 2014. That was great even with a couple of hiccups along the way. Fast forward to now the AC was struggling to keep up cooling the house, so we had Wolfer's come out to take a look. $100 for the service call, $900 leak check, and $600 to recharge. The evaporator has a leak but they wanted $5000 to replace just the evaporator. I called around and got quotes from two different HVAC companies here in Salem and $2500-$2800 was the consensus. Both stated that $5000 would cover a completely new indoor and outdoor unit. So, get some quoted before having Wolfer's do anything for you.

Just had Wolfer’s out yesterday for regular maintenance /inspection of AC unit and very pleased with service. They cleaned it up, tested performance and settings, and made sure it was operating at peak efficiency. Made some non-urgent suggestions I look into which all made sense. Was no pushy sales pitch. I signed up for their routine maintenance service; so far very pleased.

DONT BOTHER. I made a appointment for a AC tune up this last Saturday and they were a no show. Had a bad feeling after alot of red flags. First they didn't contact me back after trying to schedule a appointment online. I reached out again in a email and they finally responded. They stated I didn't leave a good phone number. Nice try but not true. After setting appointment for a Saturday between 1pm and 3pm per our conversation, they contacted me through email and tried to move me up to Thursday or Friday. After reminding them I needed a Saturday due to my work schedule they finally quit bothering me. However I asked and made sure the meet would be between 1pm and 3pm same girl now said they don't give time frames. WAITED FOR THEIR TECH ALL DAY SATURDAY. they finally called around 430pm to say they couldn't make it and tried to reschedule for Monday. I explained I have always used FIRST CALL HEATING AND AC for all my previous work and maintenance and have never had this issue and tried to give them a chance at Earning my business. At the end of the day I blame myself for trying to give them a chance to EARN MY BUSINESS. you see they operated like they were doing me a favor. So sad to see as I'm also a service technician working on the road repairing banking equipment and operate on appointment driven service. I KNOW THAT MY CUSTOMERS ARE THE REASON I GET A PAYCHECK AND TREAT THEM AS SO! I THINK ITS A SHAME AND WOULDN'T EXPECT THEM TO BE IN BUSINESS MUCH LONGER OPERATING LIKE THIS. good luck everyone. I had a technician come out to check my system to see if it was working properly. I had noticed that the cooling had not been working as in the past. The technician was very thorough and took his time reviewing the entire system . I was very pleased with his performance and he took his time to explain everything he was doing and what he found. Didn't make it past the answering service. I was trying to get a bid for a full replacement for a client and Emma was so rude and unhelpful. She wouldn't read the notes and completely disregarded all previous discussions. When I finally was able to get someone to handle this professionally (Alexis) they didn't have any time available to bid the job until the end of the month. They could only get me a tune up which would cost my buyers $378. We decided to work with 4seasons. They were quick and easy on the phone and got us in the next day within minutes of answering my phone call.

In 2022, after checking out the Costco Promotion, I scheduled them for an a/c quote. However, twice they never showed . I decided to wait to install a new a/c unit. I tried this year 2023 to have a/c and furnace cleaned, because of the promotion I saw on TV. Made an appointment and guess what? Yep, they didn't show. Will not do this again. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm really questioning Costco's vetting of vendors. Quality control seems to have gone downhill with Costco. Wolfer's fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! I'm going back to Western Heating and Cooling. They're awesome!. I only tried Wolfers because of the promotions, smh.
