Matt, as the owner/operator did it all from coming out for the initial site review, quote, scheduling, and then installing our new AC. His communication was spot on, installation was prompt and clean, and the finished product was perfect. Extremely high recommendation.
After a botched thermostat self install attempt leaving us with absolutely no HVAC at all, we found Mountain Air online and called desperate for help. Matt was incredibly friendly and eager to help and came out the same day. He quickly had our system back up and running and did a fantastic job. Would highly recommend!!

Mountain Air Heating & Cooling is amazing. Matt came out quickly inspected my unit and diagnosed the issue. Determined that I needed a new unit. He adapted to my schedule and came out to install my new unit very quickly at a fair price. Showed up on time when he said he would and went above and beyond during the installation. Recommend 100% for any heating or cooling you may need.
Life saver!!! Last year my system failed and they responded (after hours) during the crazy heat and fires near by and repaired my old outdated system!! 100% recommend!!
Matt came out and gave me a quote for a new heat pump. He was super knowledgeable and very nice. I got quotes from 3 different companies and Mountain air was by far the friendliest and best price. When Mountain Air came to install, he went step by step on how he was going to do things and made sure he didn’t leave any mess and was super careful with my home. The new system works great!!! I was very impressed by this company. I signed up for the yearly service. I highly recommend Mountain air Heating and cooling!!
Mountain air has found a forever customer from my husband and I. Our furnace started acting up earlier this year and it was limping along. It stopped working all together about a month ago right when we had a cold storm come through. We had called 5 different companies and Mountain Air Heating and Cooling were the ONLY ones to ask us what was going on with it. Then proceeded to try to help us over the phone to get it working for the time being until they could come out. He switched around some things to get us in sooner (my elderly mother lives with me and cannot stand the cold). He came out and got it to work until we could get it replaced. (Furnace was 19 years old) We appreciated that he did not try to upsell us on anything like most companies do. He explained when we had questions what add ons we could get to make it a better system and get us what we wanted. Got out brand new system installed 1 week later and we could not be any happier! Ended up going with a furnace and a heat pump. It looks SO much better than the hack company who installed our existing furnace. Everything was so clean and tidy, barely even knew they were there! 100% would recommend this company. Thank you for your hard work!
I really can’t say enough about how amazed I was with Matthew’s service! Let me start by saying I had already had an appointment scheduled for the next day with a company and I just happened to run into a wonderful lady at Home Depot. We were talking over paint and I made the comment about our A/C unit taking a dive on us today. She said my son Matthew Robinson owns a HVAC company, let me send you his number. Well I called while we were still in Home Depot and he answered on the 3rd ring. I ran through my situation and he said “I think I know your problem” he gave us a few things to look at and test and he was right. A part that cost us $15 dollars. He saved us hundreds of dollars. Gave amazing service all over the phone as he was weeks out on appointments. I definitely know what company I will always refer back to and who I will from now on be referring others too! Great Customer Service and Very Knowledgeable! I couldn’t recommend this company and Matthew enough! Thank you so much from The Griffitts Family! 🥰
Seemed very nice on the phone, did not show up for scheduled apt time which was weeks out(totally get that everyone is swamped). No call prior or after about not making appointment. No pick up of phone since then on my multiple attempts to contact. VM full. Super poor customer service. Would not recommend at all.

We purchased a home in July where the seller completely misrepresented so many things, including that the home had full house multizoned hydroradiant heating. They were immediately able to take a look around and recognize it never even had enough zones to a actually cover the whole house, that the radiator pipes were never even connected, and that to get the system to actually be what we were led to believe it was would be very very expensive. Once I calmned down from this bombshell, he was able to walk me through my options, including some efficient, affordable ones, and immediately called to see what the timeline on getting equipment would be (luckily only a couple weeks, thankfully). I'm much more calm and very confident we'll find what fits our needs and budget and look forward to continuing to work with them!
Matthew was great. Did a fast, neat job on time and a good value. He installed a smart thermostat after tuning up my furnace.
I asked them to come look at my heating because my bills were crazy high and I wasn’t using the heat that much. Matt came out quick and had done a routine service that ended up cutting my winter heating bill down to a third that I was paying in the previous years. While he was there he also took a look the air conditioning system which I just thought was toast, nope within an hour had that working too. Well worth the call to them. Very professional and caring. Highly recommend! Five stars.
Mountain Air completely set up my new 3 zone mini split heat pump/AC including purging the line sets with nitrogen, thoroughly evacuating/vacuuming the line sets and adding necessary refrigerant. I would have given them 5 stars but it appears Mathew doesn't like paperwork. When I paid him I asked for a receipt or invoice for the services rendered. He said he would email it to me. Sent him a reminder by e-mail 2 days later and still have not received it. Will update review when I receive it.
I had called him out to diag our outside AC unit. He came out within a week. Diagnosed what he thought was going on with it. Said he would get back to me on how much to fix. After that never heard back from him. Had to call another company to come out and diag again after the summer hitting triple digits multiple days in a row. Would not recommend this company ever. Did not do what he said he was going to do. Hopefully this helps the next person that wants to call him.
My air conditioner unit was leaking a large amount of water whenever I used it so I called for service. We set an appointment two weeks later to which Matthew was late for. When he got there I showed him where the water was leaking from so he took the cover off the unit first to look inside. My filter was extremely dirty so he replaced it with one I had and told me that was probably the reason for the massive water leak. I was skeptical but took his word for it. He then charged me $98.00 for his job that literally took less than 5 minutes! He told me if that didn’t resolve the issue to give him a call back and he would come back out to look more extensively in to it and would not charge me for the second trip because all he did was replace my filter. It didn’t work. Not even a little bit. I still have the massive water leak that fills the floor of my laundry room in about 3 minutes. I have called Matthew three times now, leaving a message every time. He doesn’t answer my calls nor does he return any after each message I’ve left. I cannot use my air conditioner due to water damage to my floors. At this point I feel I was taken advantage of. If he had no intention on actually trying to fix the problem I called him for in the first place he should at least be professional and let me know he doesn’t intend on coming back like he said he would. Very unhappy with this company’s service!
I would recommend Mountain air and heating. The owner Matt is very professional and friendly. He installed new air and heating for us and after the electrician ran the wiring the air condenser wouldn’t come on and that wasn’t anyone’s fault. I called Matt and he came out that night and he didn’t need to but he did because he didn’t want us to suffer with the hot weather coming. So if you need new installation or repairs done I would call Matt he is the best.
Matt had a packed schedule and still squeezed me in on the weekend. He was right on time, fixed my AC quickly and was super friendly with me and my son. I couldn't recommend him higher and will absolutely call him next time I need help with my AC. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
Highly recommend this company and Matt. He was referred by a friend and I felt very lucky to have found him. My AC struggled during the heat wave (my unit was 15 years old). I called several business at the end of June and most did not have openings until mid Aug. Matt was able to come to look at my AC in less then two weeks, and returned in 10 days to install my new AC. I was lucky to find this company and can't say enough positive things about my experience. Matt is knowledgeable, informative, reliable, and honest.
I had an old R22 unit that crapped out, and I needed someone to come out fairly quickly to repair it due to the heat. After calling around and getting either no response at all, or a response months away, I got in touch with Matt at Mountain Air. He responded right away, and offered to come out that same day. He was able to explain the problem succinctly and clearly, was able procure a new unit almost immediately, and came out a week later for installation. The entire process was efficient and professional. I cannot recommend Mountain Air more highly.
