The original work was fine. The install happened on schedule and within the given budget. However, a couple months after the install they were scheduled to do maintenance and they requested that I sign away their liability if anything goes wrong.... On a brand new system that they had just installed themselves. I wish I had a time machine to give my business to someone else instead. In the response, the owner says the install was "a couple years ago" The service was in August of last year. That would be 6 months ago. It's their brand-new install. If it was older or someone else's work I would have a different stance here. However, there is literally no excuse in this situation to expect me to bear the risk of DomMar performing service on a new dormer installation. The primary point remains, though. Any company is responsible for their work and I would expect any company to take responsibility for any issues or damages their work might cause. I will get the system maintained, but it will not be DorMar who does the work and I will relate this story to anyone I talk to about this sort of work.
Stay away from this company. They are in the business of purchasing reviews. Technician stopped by Friday and misdiagnosed the problem with my furnace without running an actual diagnostic. What was quoted to me as 2,400$ to fix in two months. Actually cost 12$ to fix in 15 minutes. Company is also in the business of replacing parts instead of actually fixing them. They are also in the business to upsale brand new furnace.
Wes did a great job with explaining what was needed and what he was doing with my furnace. I wouldn't hesitate to use the service.
This was a Friday mid day, he was there before expected, checked everything out explained what was wrong and fixed the problem. Found what will need to be fixed at a later date and explained and made notes. He was very informative, and took pride in what he was doing. Will definitely 💯 tell folks about the experience with Dor-Mar. Very pleased.
My tech was Gary. He did a good job and answered some questions and since we are both technicians in our own fields it was nice to have another tech to chat with for a short bit. I am having dormar back soon for cleaning the hvac pipes since they have not been done in almost 20 years. Should be interesting to see what they find in that rabbit hole.
Service tech was Stone G. Fantastic employee who was very knowledgeable and personable. Talked me through each step of the repair process and made me feel very confident in his work. 10/10 would recommend this company and employee for anyone needing service.
Brian was friendly and prompt and I really appreciated the insight he gave me about my furnace. My family and I have used Dor Mar for a long long time and we've never regretted it.
Wes,came to do furnace routine furnace cleaning. He was very polite and efficient.
Doug was very professional with all aspects of my tankless water heater install. He explained the installation process and made sure I understood everything that was going to happen. If he had questions he asked them. After the installation, they explained how to use the system, where they put the product literature and ensured the workspace was cleaned up. To be fair they left it better then they found it. I highly recommend DorMar.

Chris went above and beyond, he showed me before and after pictures after each room. Went out of his way to put one part of the air duct that was coming apart back together. Was very knowledgeable , respectful all around very professional. I highly recommend Dormar and their team!

Brad came out for a quality control inspection. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I really appreciate the way he explained the system ins and outs to me. I definitely recommend him and Dor-Mar for any of your HVAC concerns.
Rick came in and got straight to work. He remembered to bring a ladder, was quick and efficient, and cleaned up afterwards. He also did my AC install last spring and did an excellent job.
Chris and Anthony were very professional performing Duct Cleaning services. Explained everything they were doing and went above and beyond. I would recommend them for future work.
Stone was the technician who came to my house. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. He diagnosed my furnace problem quickly and he had it up and running in no time. I also asked him to install a new thermostat which he completed in minutes.
