Although they were able to get us seen before the quoted time slot, the tech quoted us $7810 for a new AC unit. Called a different company to get second opinion... Glad we did, other company quoted $5200 for same specs as Dor Mar's. When I texted their tech to let them know, he said the other company's brand isn't as good as theirs. The company we decided to go with is much more reputable.
Was having trouble with my nest thermostat and Aaron arrived 3 hours early, called first asking if it was ok to come early. He just finished a job in the area and had to pass my house on the way to his next job. I was happy to get it done earlier than expected. Aaron was here 5 minutes and diagnosed the problem, took 15 minutes to fix it and I'm once again cooling my house. I have COPD and CHF from years of firefighting and when it gets hot I don't breathe so well. Aaron was very professional, responsive to my needs, very professional, and explained everything he was doing. Total job from arrival to leaving was 20 minutes. This is why I resigned my service contract for 3 more years. Service contract covered the service today so there was nothing out of pocket. Thanks dor mar another job well done. 5 stars!!

I would not recommend this company. Technician came out and said that my AC unit needs very expensive new parts and he has bad news for me. That this Lennox AC company if I’m not the original owner, my warranty is not transferable. He thinks it would make more sense for me to purchase a new AC unit then these expensive parts. New cheapest unit will be around 6-8k. It didn’t seem right to me but I am not the AC expert . I decided to call Lennox warranty department to double check. Then he said he doesn’t have time and needs to go to the next appointment. Lennox warranty department answered the phone right away and lady told this mechanic that my AC unit has a warranty till next year. Mechanic tried to tell her that it shouldn’t be transferable. (You cannot make this stuff up). It actually made me really that I trusted someone to come in to my house but person is taking advantage of me. Owner of the company called me on Monday and said that part I need is discontinued by Lennox and was trying to sell me new AC again. When I told him I have 0 interest buying a new AC from him, he said that he is running out for appointment but he will follow up with me later that day. I never heard back from him. I called the office few days later and lady who answered the phone said that they can’t get the parts but they have a quote for a new AC. I asked her to email me those parts they are talking about but I never got an email. At this point I asked if I can get a refund (at least partial). They charge 199.00 to come out which includes “future service call”.I won’t be using this company even if they would be servicing for free. Also they took a credit card upfront but when it was time to pay mechanic said there will be 3% charge using debit or credit card. You would think that’s something should have been explained when office lady took the credit card information?! I got transferred to the office managers voicemail and I haven’t heard from her for a week. And to be honest
100 dollar filter change left unit full of debris in coils what is the point of charging unit when air can’t get to coils
Brad Hutchison is an excellent technician; professional, very knowledgeable and an expert in his field, friendly & proficient. Brad helped us so much and we were more than pleased with his work and knowledge.
Steve Hixon was my technician and he did great! Was done in 30 min. Informed me that by AC unit and furnace were not the right sizes for my mobile home (just bought it 8 months ago and still fixing it up). The technician was great and deserves 5/5 stars. However the cost makes me give it 3/5 (my friend just had his AC fixed for $100 out the door). Only down side was that they charged me $309 - 109 for the part and 200 for services requests. The service includes this time, plus ~3-4 additional check ups and service provided for my furnace this fall, any issues w/ AC this summer, and services next spring and fall for the units. So that may/may not be really helpful depending on if I have issues or not. Was not really wanting to spend that much right now and up front but I guess that was my own fault for not checking into that first before going with them. The part is only $12 online so I'm upset it cost me $109 through them. But I'm also a first time home buyer so I guess this is how we live and learn :) I'll know next time!
Was made promises that they didn't honor. After many calls.I steal have not resolved the issue Very poor service. Not happy at with this company. Please ask a lot of questions!!!
Cody and Dustin were very professional and kind. They installed our system in a timely manner. They also cleaned up their mess! Definitely use again and recommend.
Trent was On time,spotted the problem quickly and pointed out possible future problems I will use dor Mar again in the future

We had prompt service within 12 hours of contacting via email. Our technician, Doug Snow, was very efficient, honest, and competent in the job. He answered our questions and openly communicated what he was finding and how it could be fixed. It was a great experience and now our A/C works and our hot water tank is vented appropriately. Overall, I would recommend Dor-Mar for any of your heating/cooling needs!!
Dormar is a wonderful company. They are polite on the phone as well as in person. They are very responsive to any questions. They installed a new system a couple of years ago I get yearly maintenance on the equipment. The latest was the air conditioning maintenance. Everything went very smoothly. Would recommend this company.

Dor Mar Heating and Cooling, and technicians Cody and Dustin are awesome. They showed up exactly on time, installed the hot water heater incredibly quickly, and they get extra kudos for manhandling the old 115 gallon tank out through a tight space with zero damage to anything! I would highly recommend them
Very professional, really explains step by step what they are doing and what they are looking for. No high pressure sales, they don’t sell you anything you don’t need. We’ve had Dormar instal furnace and a/c in 3 of our houses, we always recommend Dormar to friends and family.
