Zac and Rick did a great job installing our new AC and furnace. They laid down floor protection before starting, did a neat job, explained everything very clearly, carried away the old equipment and cleaned up after themselves. So far, the system is working very well.
Friends of mine referred me to Hetter and I couldn't be happier with their service. They installed a new furnace, AC system, and humidifier in my condo. Walt was extremely helpful during the estimate process, by answering all my questions and even helping me complete some paperwork required by my condo association. Hetter's pricing was $3k-$5K less than estimates I got from other companies for comparable systems. Scott and Brian Jr. went above and beyond during the installation. They had to do some custom work to get the humidifier to fit on my ductwork but they made it happen! And they even got rid of a snake they found living under the old air conditioner unit outside. Choose Hetter- you'll be glad you did.
They were very clean and organized didn’t leave a mess. The guy that did it was very professional and really kind and good at what he did.If I could give more then 5 stars I would!!!
I had a new furnace and A/C unit installed by Michael & Donzell. I am extremely happy and satisfied. Both gentlemen were positive, professional and I had the epitome of installers! I have been with this company for years and would never go any other place. They are "My family" when it comes to any concerns. I have been in my house 64 years, last Thursday. They are simply, "The Best". Hetter and Heating. My two year old puppy had to make sure she got a hug and she adopted both of them as well. Hetter and Heating is like my extended family! Love 'em
Two weeks ago, One of their trucks cut me off and then brake checked me on Kenny road. Turns out it was heading to their office on Kenny road. Then one day last week, I was turning left off of Godown Road onto Kenny Road. When a lady in a white SUV cut me off. I had to slam on my brakes to keep from hitting her. She had a yield and ignored it. When I blew my horn she flicked me off just as she was pulling into Hetter Heating & Cooling for work. If this is a sign of their employees and how they act. Then I will definitely not recommend this company to anybody, because who knows how they're going to act in your home around you and your family.
Our installers, Brian and Rick, were awesome!! Both were Knowledgeable, professional, polite, considerate and respectful!! After the installation all was cleaned up, Brian explained our new thermostat controls. Our sales person, Rick, was very friendly, knowledgeable and not the typical pushy sales person. We Highly recommend Hetter Heating and Cooling!!
Hetter installed a new HVAC system for us a few weeks ago. The weather has been so nice in May I haven't had to turn the AC on until yesterday. The first thing I noticed is I don't even notice that it is on! It cools down and is so quiet about it. A welcome change from the old system it replaced. And it feels like the unit runs less for the amount of cooling I am getting. I liked their no-nonsense approach when I called for a site visit and estimate. Explained everything clearly and had the team come the next day to install it. Amazing responsiveness. It was an all-day job and the team of Michael, Donzel, and Zac were real pros. Great attitudes. They went about their business quietly, which I appreciated since I work from home. Like with any major project a couple of unexpected issues that they were able to effectively respond to. Everything was cleaned up at the end. I felt this company really cared to make sure I was well-informed on this major purchase. I feel very confident about making the choice to work with Hetter and I recommend them highly.
Rick Hetterscheidt did a great job visiting and suggesting various options for our failing current AC unit. The prices were competitive, the installation excellent, and new unit works great. I highly recommend Hetter.
We have used Hetter now for a number of years for HVAC maintenance and they have always been on-time and easy to work with. Last week just before Memorial Day Weekend (when we also had a high school graduation party at the house), we found out that we needed a new AC unit. Walt came out within a day and reviewed our options- we had a new unit install appointment arranged later that week! Scott, Michael and Dayton came out and did a full replacement of my HVAC system (AC Unit and Furnace) in less than 5 hours!. They were highly professional and the system was replaced with minimal disturbance to our lives - I would highly recommend Hetter for all of your HVAC needs!
Hetter installed a brand new Trane A/C and Furnace at my condo. When I first reached they quickly came out to my condo and gave me a very competitive quote. They were also very willing to answer all of my questions about the install and their qualifications. Once I made my decision to go with them on a Friday, they were able to get me on the schedule the following Tuesday. Scott and Brian arrived right around 9am on the day of the install, and got right to work installing the new furnace and air conditioner. They put down carpet to protect my floors, ran tests to ensure that the units were running properly, and showed me everything that was done. There were extremely professional and very knowledgeable in how to best install the new units. It’s been about a week so far and everything both units been running extremely well (and it’s very nice to have air conditioning again). Would definitely recommend their services
Rick and Devan were very professional and great to work with. When our previous company that serviced our furnace and a/c close they recommended Hetter and we have been happy with them ever since.

I am very satisfied with the work of Hetter Heating & Cooling. They were professional throughout the whole process from getting a quote, installation & follow up. Everything was explained & all of my questions answered. Zac & Donzel came out near the end of December 2022 & removed my old furnace and a/c unit & installed a new furnace, a/c unit & thermostat. They were very professional, polite, arrived on time and answered any questions that I had regarding the installation & cleaned up everything before they left. The removal and installation was all done in 1 day. Recently James with Hetter Heating & Cooling came out to check the a/c unit to make sure it was all good before running it for the summer since they were not able to check the a/c completely after installation because it was winter when it was installed. I had no issues & had the same great service. I recommend Hetter Heating & Cooling.
Tim performed our bi-annual maintenance today. He is a professional. He was on time, informative and efficient. He made a few simple recommendations that I appreciated. He communicated well and made sure that my expectations had been met. I would recommend Hetter to others.
Scott, Donzel, and Dayton came out the day after I accepted the estimate, and completed the entire HVAC replacement (AC, furnace, air cleaner) by early afternoon. Clearly explained how to operate and clean all parts - excellent work!
Scott, Michael, and Brian Jr. showed up right on time and got right to work installing my new HVAC system. I was in the other room working and only occassionally heard them. It was a tight fit but they finished right about the time I was told. Scott spend a few minutes extra minutes going over the finer points of programming my thermostat afterwards. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a full install.
Scott and Brian Jr showed up right on time. Banged around in the basement for about 6 hours and then we’re done. Other than a new furnace and air conditioner, couldn’t tell they were even here. No trash, swept up floor, excellent looking installation. They even helped me with the new filter size by exchanging what I had on had.
Hetter did amazing work. They were friendly and professional. We had an unfortunate experience with the HVAC subcontractor our general contractor used. The work done all had to be replaced. While everyone from Hetter was great, I want to specifically call out Zac and Devan as they spent the most time here. They both were incredibly friendly and professional. I couldn't have been happier with the work done.
Tim came out to service my incredibly old A/C. He was friendly, professional, and engaging. He answered all my questions and was more than happy to let me follow him around the house. I also felt like he didn't use any sales tactics to pressure me into buying a new unit but instead gave me realistic advice on how long he thinks my current unit might last.
Scott and Brian Jr did a wonderful job of installing a new Trane system, a nice, quiet and efficient upgrade of our 21 year old Lennox. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Scott, I believe, was the lead, explained things clearly and thoroughly at the outset, during and at completion especially with the paperwork. They took the responsibility of registering the warranty and explaining the annual service contract, what's covered and overall value. I gladly signed up for this maintenance with this trustworthy company. Thank you very much for a great job of installation. I highly recommend Hetter!
