I contacted Cardinal on the recommendation of a friend when my furnace went out. They came out and went over my options to have the furnace repaired or replaced. I decided to go the replacement route, and they offered a number of options to have both the furnace and my outdated air-conditioning unit replaced. After getting their recommendations, I contacted my brother-in-law, who does HVAC work in another state, and his recommendations for my home were exactly the same as Cardinal's. There was a bit of a wait to have the new units installed, given supply chain and scheduling issues, but Cardinal's quality service and personal attention made the wait worth it. I will certainly contact them regarding any future HVAC issues I might have.
Cardinal Heating & Cooling was recommended to me by our local hardware store (Beechwold Hardware). Like always their recommendations are always great. This was the best experience I have ever had with an HVAC company in Columbus, OH. I would 100% recommend them if you want top notch service and most importantly honesty.
U$75 for 10 minutes of service... Didn't even have a gas leak detector... And did not even look into the burners, not to mention cleaning them... If you want someone with damped rag to clean your furnace, call them. Talk about lack of basic services...
We had our AC stop working overnight and called Cardinal the following morning. They sent someone over that same day to implement a quick fix that carried us through the weekend, then came back the following week to do more extensive repairs. The technician (Matt) offered us a variety of possible solutions and thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each. I would hire Cardinal for any future repairs and would recommend them to others.

Back in July 2016, we needed a new electric furnace and heat pump system installed in our home. Cardinal Heating & Cooling had been maintaining our prior system for the last few years so we had Matt do the install of the new system. He gave us a proposal with many options and price points. We picked what worked best for us and the install went smoothly. It has been almost 5 years and we are still very happy with the system. It has met all our expectations. We recommend Matt and Cardinal Heating & Cooling.
Excellent service. I knew what the problem was(bad capacitor) but could not get a replacement unit in a timely fashion. Matt from Cardinal came out the same day and replaced the failed capacitor unit. He knew what the problem was. Reviewed my system since it is 21 years old. System still running good and additional services not needed at this time.
Very pleased with Matt’s efficient professional service. Matt was very responsive to my service call in the morning, and fit us in his schedule the same day. Last summer he came through with quality repair of our AC. Part replaced and cleaned at a terrific fair price! Cardinal Heating and cooling installed a Lennox system (furnace and heat pump) in 2010. Have had absolutely no issues with the unit. Needed some minor service recently. Called for an appointment and had service /repair the very next day. Took 30 min to identify and resolve the problem which turned out to be more of a user error than an equipment issue. Would highly recommend Cardinal for all heating and cooling installs and repairs. Thanks much!
We arrived home Friday evening to discover our a/c was out. I called Cardinal the next morning and they got us scheduled for same-day service. The part needed to repair was available and installed quickly. Although our unit is old there was no up-sell pressure but we got good advice on when we might consider replacing it and and ballpark estimate. We much appreciate the information, quick response and professional service!!
Matt is amazing! We have an older furnace that other companies told us we HAD to replace, and didn't even attempt to fix. Matt worked us in to his busy schedule, and was able to get it back up and running within an hour. Didnt give us the run around or try and upsell a new furnace, super honest and truly looking out for the customer. We will only be using Cardinal moving forward for our heating and cooling needs!
We have an older air conditioner unit that had a slow leak. Matt installed a freon leak stop in our unit, and it is working perfectly now. He did not need to add additional R-22 Freon the last 2 Spring check ups. I would highly recommend Cardinal Heating and Cooling.
Matt was quick, communicative, and really helpful. He gave us exactly what we needed and didn't try to give us any run around. He also was considerate in discussing his protocol for maintaining social distance! We will definitely use Matt and Cardinal again.

Had an appointment that they obviously didn't want to take due to where my house is. They set me up an appointment anyway, they called when I was on the phone and I called them right back at two different numbers, but they didn't answer, then when I did get a hold of them, told me they had moved on to another call after 5 minutes and couldn't get to me for at least 2 weeks. Never dealt with such unprofessional people. If you don't want the job say so at first don't leave in the cold for 5 days and then make up some lame excuse. Complete unprofessionals.
Cardinal Heating & Cooling LLC did amazing job by locating the problem and fixing it within 45 minutes. Needed new thermostat & equipment control module since it was wireless. They got the job done at a reasonable price. Would hire them again.

Can't say enough about Matt and Nick. Spoke with Matt about replacing our old furnace and ac. He was very through in his explanations, gave me recommendations, and completely answered all my questions. The day of install he and Nick stayed all day to finish the work and it was done with precision. I am completely satisfied with the furnace and the installation.
