I've shopped here for years. As a diesel technician, they have great tools with life time warranty's. Kind of annoyed though about how both my e-mail accounts for personal and business randomly disappeared and couldn't be recovered. Otherwise, great place to get all your tool needs!
In store is always a good to great experience. The online/web option is poor to average at best. Multiple attempts to complete each purchase, or at times Multiple entries together a product interview cart.

Unfortunately, I cannot give negative stars. I purchased an EGO snow blower for smaller snow falls. After a light snow, I found the EGO did not have enough battery power to do all the areas I need to. I returned the EGO to Norther Tool + Equipment with the receipt. I am asked several times if the batteries were fully charged. (Yes, first snow fall since I purchased, wanted to see what it could do). I am told I have to have the manager authorize the return. I waited for over a half hour for the manager, "Kim". After waiting, over a half hour (even offering to assist another customer to load his equipment) staff tell me I will need to contact EGO to authorize the return. My fault for not reading receipt, so I return home, call EGO and EGO reads Northern Tool + Equipment's return policy to me. If the customer has the receipt, no damage can return within 60 days. Back to Northern Tool + Equipment. Demand to see the manager. Again after waiting, "Kim" shows up. Will not look at me or talk to me, but only the NT+E associate. Kim tells the associate it is a battery problem, and he will have to call EGO. The Associate Sue, (Almost makes me want to go back to NT+E), tells Kim, the process I have been through. Manager still without looking at or talking to me, tells the associate, Fine, return it, walks away. Successful return, but lost a customer forever. I will never return to NT+E. Staff were nice, Manager Kim, completely awful and should not be in that position. I have spent over $1,000 at NT+E in last month. Seriously contemplating returning EVERYTHING since I now know their return policy, but that would mean stepping back into that store.
worker's are friendly and are knowledgeable. If not they will find out.
As Larry the cable guy would say " its like a grown feller chuck E cheese. sometimes it can be hard finding help but they are always friendly and have everything that I need.
I’ve never been to this store until recently and it’s awful. TERRIBLE customer service. We were told the item we wanted was buried in the back and they could dig it out for us, but it would be a week. We went back almost 2 weeks later and we were met with the same excuses. Fairly big ticket item. They lost the sale to a different retailer online.
Some tools look like they are of lower quality. Overall the store comes in handy for a few items but would not buy most of my tools from this store.
