Our a/c went out on July 4th so we knew finding someone to come out and take a look at it would be a long shot. John was very responsive and we called at 9am that morning he was here by 11am. They quickly diagnosed it and repaired it in a timely manner. Couldn't recommend this business enough.
I trusted this company with a key and access to a residence. While they were working all of my tools and equipment were taken. There was no break in or forced entry for someone to have gained access to the residence. These were the only individual's which had access to the residence. Please form your own opinion.
TO START OFF THIS COMPANY HAS SPECTACULAR SERVICE!! Very knowledgeable Technicians that know they're stuff & love what they do. These men went above and beyond my expectations! If you want an HVAC repair or service performed correctly the 1at time and the problem that caused the issue found & kindly explained to you in a very understandable manner , call ACC! ask for John ! Quality work for a quality price!
Called ACC after frustrated attempts to get service from another local company. John returned call within minutes and visited a few hours later. Repairs completed to AC and both John and Ken could not have been more professional and courteous. Price was fair. I cannot recommend ACC highly enough. Outstanding service. UPDATE: John and Ken parted ways, John is now James River Air, and still offering service locally. Ken may be as well? (Not sure, I've only worked with John sice the change)
John Cleveland is without a doubt the best HVAC man in the region. HONEST, EFFICIENT and really great at resolving difficult problems with system design and correcting other company's poor work. We had him resolve a terrible install by our church-going-"friends" at Miller Services which caused inefficiency and many repair calls due to carelessness and ambivalence. Sad to say that friends are not as good as John Cleveland. He redesigned our entire infrastructure on our 23 year old home in northern greensboro and lowered our heating and cooling bill dramatically. They system was more quiet and provided even heating and cooling than ever. Now that he is the sole proprietor I believe that the service will be even better. Thanks John! You are the BEST! I have known the owner of ACC for almost 23 years. Honest, fair and easy to work with. He has always responded to our calls in a timely manner, the services have been excellent.
Highly recommend these guess to anyone. Very worthy of your business. I called ACC based on the reviews I read here on Google. John answered my call on a Sunday evening and was diagnosing my problem the very next day. A day and a half later, I had a new HVAC installed. Couldn't ask for better service... More than that these are just really "good" guys...
Courteous , clean person came to my door 10 minutes early . Thoroughly checked units, accessed and fixed problem, and charged me a REASONABLE PRICE for the part and labor provided. I definitely made the right choice with this contact. Very happy.
My wife and I have been using ACC for 6 Years. They always explain exactly what they are planning to do. If I don't understand what they are explaining they will dumb it down until I do understand. They are quick and will not give you a BS answer to the problem. I had one company come out to do a diagnosis before I heard about ACC. They told me the issue was not enough Refrigerant. ACC came out and tested the system and it turned out 3/4 of the Evaporator Coil was blocked up. They did the fix and had it up and running in a day.
Great Service! Our problem was on a weekend but that wasn't a problem. Very friendly and informative! Would use again! Highly recommend!

I have had to use ACC numerous times this summer to assist with my aging A/C unit. ACC has always been quick to respond, friendly, and provide top level service. I would recommend ACC to anyone, they are the best A/C company I have ever deal with.

I want to say that these guys are absolute professionals. We really did our homework by first researching heat pumps and reading reviews on equipment. Then we invited several companies to come to the home and provide their recommendations for service and/or replacement of the old system. Unlike the larger companies, instead of a technician, one of the owners (John) personally came for the initial visit and thoroughly inspected our system, got up in the attic with me, and explained step by step what he proposed doing and why. His recommendations were logical, practical, and very detailed and he spent time explainining his recommendations. We solicited quotes from 6 different companies and ACC provided a very fair and reasonable quote, and we understood the quote because John had explained things so well. Then they really delivered on their promises. They completed the work with care and precision, taking their time to do the job right and very professionally. Both owners (John and Ken) along with thier crew completed the work. They not only replaced the system, but corrected duct work that had been improperly installed during the original heat pump installation which was impeading airflow and causing climate control issues between the upstairs and downstairs of the home. This was an added bonus that wasn't even included in their original proposal to complete the work. The new system they installed has performed amazingly well and the climate control issues are gone. Thanks to their great work, the thermostat is now set 4 degrees warmer than before and the whole house feels much cooler than it previously felt even when the thermostat had been set 4 degrees lower. This will save $$$ during future years of operation.These guys care about their work, they love what they do, they take time to do things right, and they deliver professional service, quality work, and at a very fair price. I highly recommend ACC.
John and Ken are two of the most professional technicians I have ever worked with. They were able to quickly diagnose, clean, and repair my AC unit and advise me on tips to help keep the unit from getting clogged and working through the summer. My AC unit is 16 years old and will need eventual replacement. The yearly maintenance plan should hopefully help keep this unit running for a few more summers. ACC gave me a fair ballpark estimate of the costs I would incur when the time comes to replace it so I can begin saving up. When this unit needs replacing, ACC will definitely get my business again.
John and Ken are two honest and hard working guy.They work late into the night to get my heat pump working. Their approach to service is what you expect from all business but rarely receive. Great job guys you made a life time customer out of me.
John and Ken are by far the most professional, courteous service providers I have ever been around. I called John at 1 pm on 1.30.14 and they were at my house by 330 that afternoon. I contacted them because I thought our unit was going out and was very nervous about how much this was going to cost our family. However, when they showed up and inspected our units they assured me that our units were fine and there wasn't anything i needed to do at this time.( I was expecting the worst and thought they would tell me I needed a whole new unit) They then took about 40 minutes to walk through our house inspecting areas to improve comfort and offered very helpful suggestions that will help lower our bill. I was very comfortable having them in my house and would reccomend them to any of my friends and family. It was very refreshing to be around someone that wasn't pushing uncessary service down our throats but rather offered friendly suggestions in a no pressue way. If you have any issues with heating and air I would reach out to these guys first and give them an opportunity to earn your business. If we need any service in the future I will certainly be contacting them:)
Couldn't be more pleased with John and Ken. They took the time and expertise to permanently fix something that the builder AND inspector obviously missed because there was water leaking on to the ceiling from our 4 year old AC unit. Good guys that do great, trustworthy work. You really have no excuse to use anyone else
They were able to fix my AC unit quickly and it is working great now. They went the extra mile and it is greatly appreciated. I plan to have them do my regular seasonal maintenance from here on.
I own Hester's Creative School of Benjamin. A childcare center in Greensboro with over 10,000 sq ft. ACC came out and performed some needed work. They were fast to get there and did what they said they were going to do. I hired them on the spot to maintain my 5 units every 3 months. I recommend this company to anyone, commercial or residential. Juan Cano
