We have been very happy with the work done by Eanes Heating & Air Conditioning. We wanted to have a spring checkup done on our system and the technician, Abe, found several items that needed immediate attention and others that were recommended. We were provided a clearly-defined list (with pictures) of work to be done along with recommended order of performance and associated costs which allowed us to make informed decisions on how to proceed.

Michael Eanes Heating & Air Conditioning told my wife the condenser contactor need replacing. This is a $20.00 part wanted to charge $720.00, I guess he thought my wife would say ok. She called me, I checked the contactor no voltage or resistance loss across the contactor. I advise everyone to not use Eanes anymore. Dean Calloway

I gave 3 stars because they did get my AC back up and running the same day. My AC had completely stopped working. The tech said i needed the capacitor replaced, to get it back up and running, which I agreed to. I wouldn't use them again though because the tech told me I needed an additional 2800.00 worth of work that I did not need!! He tried to schedule to come out again and do the additional work but my husband told me to get a second opinion. I had another reputable HVAC company come out to verify that my system needed more work and he said there's nothing else wrong with my AC and they may have been trying to upsale us. But IMO to give an estimate that high for work that doesn't need to be done is scammy and that completely lost my trust. Won't use again. UPDATE: In response to the company there's a difference in suggesting things just for general maintenance, and saying I need lines cleared and a pressure switch replaced when it didn't need to be done. My second opinion was confused as to why you're tech would suggest all that work for a unit that's only 5 years old and he said my unit only needed the capacitor replaced. That other work would have been unnecessary.

Had them out yesterday to check a broken AC, after thawing the coils, said there was a leak and the evap coil needed to be replaced, was still under parts warranty, so that would be covered, but quoted $3,500 to replace and add 3lbs of refrigerant… Got a second opinion who actually checked the entire system for leaks, found a cap on the fill line outside missing and that was the only place he picked up anything. Filled it for a couple hundred and the system is perfect. I was kinda surprised when I was given the original estimate and then told they could give me an extensive discount after the tech went outside and “talked” to his manager. So, I paid $95, to be told I needed a $3500 repair… and waste a day without AC to get another company to look at it.

Called for service, and they came the next day. The technicians were knowledgeable and professional. They identified the problem and corrected it. They left the place clean, and wore shoe coverings so as not to dirty the carpeting. I was impressed with them to the point of taking out a maintenance contract with them to come service the unit semi-annually.

I contacted Eanes to request a quote on a new unit after a technician damaged my heat pump. I wanted to choose a reliable company for the installation, but they said they would charge me $90 for the quote. I clarified that I only wanted a quote for a new installation, not a service call, but they insisted on the fee regardless of whether they got the job or not.

I do not recommend Eanes unless you're made of money. I called them about my AC not cooling very well and they came out on time and the HVAC guy was nice and professional. The problem was the cost. The AC was fine, all he had to do was clean out like 2 feet of PVC that took him all of 15 minutes to pump out. 500 bucks is not a reasonable price whatsoever for what was needed, especially considering that the products he used can be bought for $20 on Amazon.

Eanes was professional from start to finish. Chris walked me thru the purchasing part of replacing my ancient HVAC upstairs and helped me understand how it would need to be installed. My installation was done on Saturday and Sunday and all the technicians were courteous (I ask a lot of questions) , knowledgeable and professional. They took great care with my home and I would definitely recommend and will use again in future.

Jeffrey, Adam and Benjimen did a great job working on two HVAC systems we were getting replaced in our house. They worked in the heat of the day with the attic being over 100 degrees and worked during thunderstorms and heavy rains. They never complained, answered all of our questions, and had positive attitudes. They were respectful of our property and were awesome.

Tech tried to charge me more for the service call “because it was raining and I had to wait in the van for it to let up” Then was told a “diagnostic on the system” would be approx $7k but he would rather replace…was supposed to email me a quote and I never heard back from him.
