Used them for AC maintenance. Very professional and courteous. Told me what was needed, recommended and what could wait.
I called Plumbing & Air Service on a Tuesday and, they told me I would be the second call of the day the very next day. I figured the plumber would arrive late morning. The plumber, Jacob, showed up at 2pm, shortly before another scheduled appointment I had. He told me he could get the work done that today or the next. He sent me a written estimate, and I immediately called the company to request he called me back. It's now Thursday and no one ever called me. They did happily take my check for the service call. Save your money and call a company who will respond and communicate. Not to mention, I found a licensed plumber to do the work for a fraction of the cost.
We were on vacation and came home to wet carpeting and bubbled up flooring in our living and family rooms. We don’t know how long that had been going on but the plumbing service sent someone out immediately even though they were booked up. They found the leak and they handled it and even found a second leak. I’m just so glad to have it taken care of the same day that we found the issues. Of course we will have to have remediation and other work done but the plumbing aspect of it is handled. We have used this company numerous times
I told the receptionist to have the plumber call me when he was on the way. I didn't want to waste his time or mine. So when he called I told him my problem was with a saniflo pump and I was sure it needed a part and I asked if he was familiar with them and could he get parts for them . He said yes he'd worked on them before and could get parts. After arriving it was clear he didn't know anything about saniflo and multiple times I tried to tell him about a part called a membrane that covers the switch and I was 99percent sure that is what I needed and every time I tried to tell him,I couldn't complete a sentence without him interrupting me suggesting other things or suggesting I might need a whole new system. He said he would check on parts and get back with an estimate. That's been about 2 weeks and he never even called back. In the meantime I got the part I needed from saniflo in new Jersey through FedEx and fixed it myself. He could have been professional enough to call and say he didn't want the job or didn't have the experience.. I missed time at work to meet him that day after clearly telling him on the phone what it was and what it needed. Don't call these people for you plumbing problem.
Will not be using these services again. It cost $350 just to come check out our home and that’s without fixing a thing. ( I was told on the phone there was a 49$ special- Don’t be fooled this is only the dispatch fee) We were then told we needed $20,000+ in repairs. Most were clearly overpriced, $2500 for 2 new shower valves? $7,200 to drain repipe for “ peace of mind” ? - No thank you Im not stupid. They did not break down cost vs labor in their invoice. I truly feel that they threw many unnecessary things at us and because we are new home owners had expressed that we are inexperienced with this sort of thing, thought that we would just tell him to go ahead and do it. I don’t do business with people like that so we will be taking our business elsewhere. Giving 2 stars only because they arrived very quickly and our plumber was polite.
I was shocked at how much I was charged for the little bit of work that was done. This company is taking advantage of hard working people and is way over priced!! At least the the service man was very professional and did a great job. I believe his name was Adam but won’t swear by it.
They arrived promptly and provided me with a few estimates. I was very happy with their work at first. Sure they tried to sell me a toilet instead of repair the one I had, but that's just the job, I get it. Well, suffice it to say that the toilet I had them fix (for almost $1000) "suddenly" had a fracture in the tank after they left, causing the leak to be far worse than it had been. The same repairman (Jeremiah) came into the store the next day SUPER defensive about how someone else MUST have broken the toilet after they left, and now I have to buy a new toilet and have them install it. It was almost comical but more frustrating. I would not recommend them. Getting someone else to replace the toilet for sure.
We hired Plumbing and Air to replace our HVAC unit, install a tankless Water Heater and to repair and seal our ductwork. All of the management, staff and technicians they sent to our home were extremely professional and courteous. They worked tirelessly to ensure that our new systems were working properly and to our satisfaction. Importantly, their people were excellent communicators and took the time to clearly explain the work that was to be done. These are people of high integrity and we look forward to working with them for years to come.
Replaced my 22-year-old HVAC unit with a Rheem model. Got it done in a day's time with minimal disturbances as I worked upstairs in my home office. So far so good!
Cleaned and repaired leaky air ducts. My house is so much warmer since the leaks were repaired. I’m extremely happy with the service and the professionalism of the two reps. Thank you!
Plumbing & Air Services charge by the job, not by the hour. This may be great for some folks but my experience makes it financially possible for P&A to absorb overruns on other jobs. Had a small gas leak at a black pipe joint to my furnace. Simple job. 6 - 8" of black pipe, a joint or two (may have even reused what I had there), re-doped the threads, tightened. Done. Over $300 for what should have been more like $125. Also had estimates given for whole house water heater. Many install options made available. Other estimates from reputable plumbing services also obtained. Other estimates were just over half of P&A's. They did good work, were quite nice, spent time here, but for at least me, the value was disappointing.
These guys are good at replacing the plumbing, they're good plumbers. We had a main sewer line replaced. They of course had to dig up the yard to access the old cast iron pipe and replace it with PVC. They did a good job at that but the yard repair and trash left behind is pretty bad. They also had to do it all in one day, that means if its 11pm at night and they're not done, they will keep working. They also cut the main internet cable for our area. The locate company had not yet located the sewer line so while searching for it they found the communication cables. I'm glad they didn't find the Duke Power cable but they were close. I got to enjoy AT&T and Spectrum driving their heavy equipment over my yard the following 2 weeks and tearing down my fencing as well. Like I said these guys are good plumbers, not landscapers. Just expect big trenches with packed clay, tractor treads, dirty rubber gloves, metal pipe slivers, rock and stone fragments. While shoving and hauling in dirt to fill in the tractor treads and sunken trench they left for me over this summer it got me thinking. I think everytime they do a job like mine the home owner should be able to go the the business owners house and do doughnuts in his yard at 11pm at night while holding down the horn and dumping a trash can full of trash in his yard. I wouldn't cut his internet though.
Although the repairman that cMe to my home was great ant I welcome him back to my home as a repairman. BUT as I had a repair/service call after hour a representative of this company called me back with an attitude as if I was infringing upon her free time. She gave me attitude from hello to goodbye. Her name is Patty and she does not need to have this Job representing this company. I recently paid extra to have a service plan with them but was treated like she could care less. Very upset from calling my air conditioning company.
Perrin Ketchum showed up to do the maintenance on our HVAC units. He was polite and attentive, and answered the questions I had. I asked him about installing a Nest thermostat and he contacted his office and said he was available to install the Nest and surge protectors on our units to ensure their safety, all for a reasonable fee. The work was done in no time with professionalism and precision. Thank you Perrin, and thanks to Plumbing and Air Service!
From first call about a leaky gas hot water heater, to installing a new gas hot water heater, to installing the Nuvo H2O water softener/ filtration system, the service has been excellent! Response time - FAST- service and installation of gas water heater and water softener by Josh was the epitome of professionalism and quality. If you are looking for a water softener solution ... I can recommend Josh highly. But ... Tiffany, Patti, Tony, Jacob & Jake ... were awesome, as well. Just can't say enough about The Plumbing & Air Service Co. ... service.
The Plumbing & Air Service Co. was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the knowledgeable Comfort Specialist Donny, to the friendly and professional HVAC installers Brian and Corey, we couldn't be more pleased. They were polite, hard working and brought in extra support via Ian and Mickey to quickly fix an unforseen issue. All of these guys were absolutely fantastic! Great company, great staff and great experience. 10/10 will use them again.
I had an outstanding experience with this company. They performed multiple services on my home and went above and beyond expectations each time. After contacting the company for different evaluations on the home they were here within 24 hours. In addition, every single person who came out to the home was overly friendly and would answer any questions I had. Highly recommend!
We couldn’t be more pleased with the responsiveness and service we received from Josh and his assistant. They were prompt, professional, and they were able to find and diagnose our problem quickly and thoroughly. Josh told us exactly what our issue was and different options and price levels of what they could do to remedy the problem so we could make the best decision to fix it based on our budget. The work they did was excellent and tidy, and in less than 24 hours from when we first found the problem and called it in, the source of our leak was fixed. We are so glad we chose your company!
We couldn't have chosen a better company. Quick estimate and repair within the same week. The repair team that came out to do the work was on time, very professional, friendly, and more than willing to answer any questions we had in regards to the repair. Not to mention their beautiful repair install! Highly recommend to anyone seeking plumbing repairs!
I am very pleased with the service I received from Jacob and his assistant! They were thorough, straight to the point and made me feel very informed on the problem I had at hand. They gave me a couple of options to fix the problem at hand. Before they left my problem was fixed and I'm a satisfied customer!! 5 star service
